Genuinely excited by the changes to certifications, looks like they are all for the better.
I currently assign 2 learning plans to all of my LMS users (A safety learning plan, and a HR Compliance Learning Plan), but the courses within the learning plans all have different renewal periods (1, 2, or 3 years).
With the new Certifications beta, it looks like I can’t set renewal periods per-course, only per-certification.
From a learner’s point of view, currently they get 2 learning plans to complete upon starting with our company, and then receive a set of notifications each year depending on what needs to be renewed.
With the new Certifications beta, I’m going to have to create multiple certifications for each time period (1, 2, or 3 years), which is just going to look cluttered and complex to learners.
Has any consideration been given to allowing Learning Plans to contain the new Certifications, so that I can still present 2 learning plans to my learners but they complete the certifications and the associated renewal period?

- COSHH [3 years]
- DSE [3 years]
- Fire Safety [2 years]
- How to report a safety incident internally [1 year]
- Health and Safety Introduction [3 years]
- Legionella [3 years]
- Manual Handling [1 year]
- Spill Kits [2 years]
- Emergency Evacuations [1 year]
