Hello, I am trying to find a way to add a survey at the end of our courses, but this survey shouldn't be mandatory to complete the course.

How can I add Learning material that will not count as part of the course completion?

Thank you,

You can set one the learning objects as the “end object marker” under the LO settings. This will the object the one that marks the course as complete and thus makes the survey “optional”

I believe you can set any number of items as an “end object marker.” Completing any one of them will give credit for the entire course. That comes in handy if you have multiple parallel versions of a training with SCORMs for different audiences (e.g., HR, Sales, IT) but you only want to create one course for everyone to take.

Please correct me if I’m wrong!
