Hello,

I am expanding the power user permission to be able look up individual profiles but I noticed that there are three custom report that are visible to them. Can guide me on how to remove those three custom reports?

Hi, go into the settings for the reports and at the bottom of the Properties page is a Visibility section.

Change the Setting of All Superadmins and Power Users, to All Superadmins.

Thank you! That worked! Is there a way to take off the permission to be able to create a custom report?

That would be in the Power User Profile assigned to the Power User. Admin gear > Power Users > Profiles. Currently the Reporting settings are Edit and/or View. If you remove Edit I believe they will not be able to create a report.

@Sgrullon12 did you login as a user that is assigned that Power User profile and see if you can create a report?

Correct, I am logged as another Power User and getting the screenshot from their profile. That is how i am testing it.

@Sgrullon12 we were in a similar situation, and we built profiles such as the “Report Reader”, “Report Writer”, “Report Manager” and assign them to the PU based on their roles.

@Sgrullon12 The suggestion of @ILonka S. is what we’ve being doing since starting and it works perfectly.

Greetings all, I have since enhanced the capabilities a bit. I have a User Additional Field called User Role. We use this for a range of solutions, but one is to associate a PU profile with a user. Then I make an automatic group for everyone with that profile.

In the reporting I can then share a report with Super Admins and Specific Power Users, then add the group instead of specific power users.
