Can observation checklists be used by the instructor of an ILT course?

Hi, 

I want to use an observation checklist to be filled by the instructor of an ILT course during the course to evaluate the participants in real-time.

However, I am not able to make the observation checklist visible to the instructor. I added the observation checklist in the training material of the ILT course, enrolled users into sessions etc. But the instructor does not get the observation checklist in his ‘My checklists’ Menu for completion. Does anyone have an idea how to make the instructor see the checklists?

Additionally, I would like to set the approval of the observation checklist as criterion for completion of the course. Does anyone know if and when yes, how this is possible?

I tried including in a course but then it behaves like a learning object and must be completed (that’s fine) however it can only be done once and only while enrolled in the course so the limitations there had us needing to schedule the app instead. And after all that, it cannot be completed by anyone other than the user who is enrolled. Hope it works for you.

You would need to assign the instructor under the “Custom User” section but that will only work for a single instructor. The checklists work differently in a course than when assigned independently so you may need to go this route instead.

@lrnlab  I was not able to make it work as we wanted to have it, and in the end, we went for a different solution.
