Good morning or afternoon eLearn enthusiasts.

In the last few weeks I have started noticing an issue that keeps coming up when replacing Rise courses on Docebo.

When doing a straight swap of Rise content (i.e. creating a version that will automatically overwrite previous versions), always double-check that all of your Continue buttons remain intact. I typically find that after I have replaced a module more than once, they start to disappear. (Even if I’m just making minor text changes that do not affect the structure). When this happens, you will have to create new versions & swap them out manually.

I should mention this happens whether or not you’re using the Central Repository.

I just wanted to share this. I haven’t bothered w/ a ticket yet, though i probably should. But I’m sure it would end up being a long conversation & I honestly don’t have time for that at the moment. So for now I’m just letting people know to keep an eye open for it.

Ciao @NateC,

Could I bother you to submit a ticket to our lovely Support team? They would be more than happy to review the situation and make heads/tails of the button continuity that you’re experiencing.

@NateC Have you put the RISE course up on Scorm.com to check the behavior?  Or checked the E-Learning Heros forum at Articulate?

These are good questions @KMallette but given the patterns that i am seeing - most notably the fact that it seems to happen once i overwrite a Rise-produced SCORM package more than once, and the fact that it seems to happen to anyone from my organization, regardless of who is creating the content - I am inclined to think that the issue is coming from the LMS itself.

That said, if my ticket does not turn anything up, I’ll investigate this further & SCORMCloud would be a useful next step, as would the e-Learn Heroes forum.

THanks!
