Launching an LMS is no small feat and with all of the effort required to push the project over the finish line, it can be hard to summon the energy necessary to brainstorm ways to promote your LMS prior to launch.

So, here’s a brief list of potential ideas that we’ve seen some of our customers utilize in order to promote the launch of their new LMS.

  • Create a “Hype Video” - give users and employees information about the LMS. The goal of the video is to create awareness and excitement, while also showcasing the features and benefits of the Docebo platform.

  • Email Campaigns - prior to launch, send email communications to your employees/users that includes information around your LMS and launch details.

  • Create a “Did You Know” document - distribute to employees/users that gives them more detail about Docebo and how your company is planning to use the software
  • Create flyers - hang flyers around the office, break rooms, hallways, etc. to announce that a new LMS will be available soon

  • Ad on office screens/tv’s - display the Docebo platform and details on any screens and/or televisions in the office to remind employees/users that the platform is coming soon

  • Have a “Launch Party” - serve refreshments, snacks, a cake with the platform named etc. on the launch date to get employees/users involved and excited about the new LMS

  • Organize a “Scavenger Hunt” - offer prizes for users that complete it first. The scavenger hunt is a great idea as it will get users inside and build familiarity with the platform

  • Host a “Drop-in Lounge” or a “Log-in Drive”  - Admins are available to help internal users gain access to the LMS and answer any questions they may have about the Docebo product

  • Create a contest - encourages immediate participation in the platform. For example, a reward for the first person to complete a course, complete a learning plan, receive a perfect score etc. Docebo’s Gamification App can help with awarding badges and creating leaderboards and contests!

  • Coordinate internal roadshow - giving LMS Admins the ability to join department/team meetings across the company to discuss the platform and share details about the launch

  • Schedule “Admin Office Hours” - Designated Office hours will allow users to  stop by or join a web conference link with Admins where they can ask questions around the new LMS.

  • Designate Internal “Champions” or Subject Matter Experts (SME) - Champions and Experts can help address any questions regarding the new platform and even promote and create excitement about the LMS within the department.

  • “Lunch and Learn” style meetings - Set up a “Lunch and Learn” style “workshop” to present the platform and all of the exciting new features and benefits that come along with it!

  • Email Blast with an Course Enrollment Link - Create an email communication to promote the platform once it is live and include a course enrollment link to a “Welcome to the New LMS” course. The user will automatically be enrolled in the course upon clicking the enrollment link. The course can include videos, screen recordings, screenshots, documentation for how to’s, and even a learner user guide for end users to download and keep.
