Authorization Issues - API browser - Services = catalogmanagement

Greetings all, I want to make you aware of issues I have found with the API browser and the new set of API endpoints under Services = catalogmanagement

These issues are occurring in both the sandbox and production.

When I go to Services = catalogmanagement > Get paginated list of catalogs and then select OAUTH, the system opens a new tab, but never presents the authentication dialog.

In addition the browser is very squirrely in the catalogmanagement section. I went to another Services area and authenticated and came back and the OAUTH button had disappeared. Typically it is green, as long as you haven’t refreshed.

I opened a ticket with Docebo, they were able to reproduce the issue.

Work around - you can browse to another area, authenticate, and then go back to catalogmanagement and get it to work.

Support agreed that it was flaky.

Flaky indeed. Thanks for flagging! Is there a timeline to fix this?

I need to do more testing here in general, hadn’t realized our old batch actions were going away and need to make sure I can replicate those. Time to update my wiki haha

Hi ​@captainzelda they have not yet given any guidance. Once they figure it out it will be in one of the periodic bug fix releases. Ticket #1103755.

Thank you! I’m logging a separate ticket as I’m realizing the batch actions such as batch create catalogs and batch assign catalog visibility are gone, which is...unfortunate.

I don’t see it in the list, but it would make sense that catalog APIs got an overhaul. We cannot function without batch actions haha

I just received a update to my ticket. Rajeev stated, “I'd like to inform you that our development team is now aware of this issue and is actively working on a resolution. I will attach this ticket to the related development task so you will receive automatic updates as they are available. I will continue to manage this ticket and will also provide you with additional information as soon as I receive it.”

Less than an hour after I submitted the ticket. Great job Docebo!

Docebo messaged me that the estimated update to fix the issues is July 25, 2025.

I was notified this morning that they have deployed the fix. I just tested it and it worked great.

I was also notified that I panicked prematurely :D Bulk actions for creating catalogs, visibility, content managements are still in LEARN > CATALOGUE. I was looking in catalog management but they’re still here:

@captainzelda - glad to hear you still have access. I was having a hard time when they removed the group endpoints and replaced them with audience. I had a simple setup for get group user counts and it broke all of that. Now they have it in the interface.
