One person attended outside training

Can someone advise as to how I would enter a course that one person took from an outside vendor. I have the certificate of completion.

    I would add that as an External Training item (External Training > Manage).

    Love questions like this ​@aglenzer - as our colleagues mentioned? The external training app is a decent choice. A few questions though:

    • is the course also offered internal?
    • is the course from the external source a “strong equivalent”?
      • does anyone really care that the course happened externally (maybe you are interested in purely the time and date stamp and record availability in the learning transcript)?

    I am asking these because not for nothing? Here is a very plausible option B.

    You could:

    • (Generate an account for them as needed)
    • Ask the person for an “official record” - a cert from that other learning system for example
    • Enroll the person in said equivalent course
    • Mark them as completed with the date stamp and score
    • Call it a day without over engineering anything
