Integrations & APIs

Hello, everyone!I’m currently looking into adding IT training into our platform, and our team is looking into if there are integrations in any way, even if it’s with Connect, to pull data from Pluralsight to Docebo or even host those videos here. Unfortunately my searching is failing me and I can’t seem to find an answer one way or the other without hitting walls, so has anyone here used Pluralsight at all?

This one is fairly geeky, from someone that is half way dangerous. I dont know how to play cards (= develop like a software developer short of some client side tricks), but I know how to read the value of the cards on the table.Below is simplifying a problem, but lets say:we have a clean and stable url pattern for a PDF on another server.   The PDF is a form that collects a username for Docebo. The server that serves up the PDF does have an API. And the API supports being able to pull values from the PDF. The API also supports knowing the submission ID and document ID (parts of the PDF url). The goal is to show the view only of their PDF in Docebo itself.It seems like we have many of the right components to setup a view from the other server:we can iframe into a course onto an HTML page If we cant do that we can iframe onto an HTML page widget We also have Docebo Connect so we have someways of doing automation. In theory when a person submits that webform, we will use webhooks to trig

We have been unsuccessful configuring ecommerce within Docebo using the A.Net app for our training purposes. We are now looking to host ecommerce outside of Docebo and inside of our web site which has a functioning ecommerce. The solutions suggested by Docebo are not acceptable either. ne solution was to use iframe and since iframes will soon not be supported we had to say no to this suggestion. The other two options, one mimics what we already do and the other is JS coding, which will delay your launch and will add significant costs to the project. Has anyone undertaken a project to host ecommerce outside of Docebo?

We have a great techincal team of training ops specialists but we’d like to invest in getting them some development on creating/updating recipes.   Can anyone recommend learning resources that will help them grow and develop in this area?

We use ecommerce to sell both individual courses as well as subscriptions, and occasionally we will get purchases that come across on stripe successfully even sending receipts to the customer, but Docebo doesn’t update the transaction as successful. Instead leaving it in pending leaving our user with no training and money spent. Naturally they try again, which leads to them duplicate purchasing the same product usually to the same outcome. Then we get an angry or frustrated call and they refund all their purchases. Obviously this hurts our reputation, our support team, and generally makes us look bad. So my question, is why? It’s not all users, and I rarely have enough information to try and replicate it. There’s hardly any connection points or settings to even test on my end. Anyone know how to resolve this problem?

I would love to know from those of you that are using Power BI, what your reporting looks like. What are the report features that you are getting out of Power BI that you are not currently getting out of the built in Docebo reports? Screenshots are welcomed!

Anybody know, how to obtain daily information of “active user report”, how it was defined here (it includes different user activities, but not only subscription to the courses or course completion), using Docebosaas Web API?

Hi There, How can I check to make sure my API calls are to the Sandbox, and not going to/from the live site? I would like to test some calls, but I don’t want to post them to our live site. We recently synced the sandbox as well, so if there are settings I should be altering to make sure they’re separate, please let me know.  Thanks!

Hello, I’m doing the implementation of Docebo Connect with Udemy but it’s not easy to know how to categorized it automatically the way it’s structured on Udemy. Does anyone know how to do it ? Best regards,  Ana maria

We are setting up to pass some data to another system that does not have a connector available.If I use and endpoint and the end of the call (page size = 200) returns the following. "count": 200, "has_more_data": true, "cursor": null, "current_page": 1, "current_page_size": 200, "total_page_count": 87, "total_count": 17306Is that 1 call? Or 200 calls?If it is one, then 87 calls would get my data, but that seems too good to be true.

I’m trying to pull data from Docebo to personalise eLearning and I have managed to pull the users first name to display in the eLearning, however I was wondering knows of a way to do the same for a “job family 1” or “job family 2” or “reporting unit 1” to personalise the route someone takes in their learning. This is the code I’ve been working on var player = GetPlayer();function findLMSAPI(win) { if (win.hasOwnProperty("GetStudentID")) return win; else if (win.parent == win) return null; else return findLMSAPI(win.parent);}var lmsAPI = findLMSAPI(this);// Fetch the student's namevar myName = lmsAPI.GetStudentName();var nameArray = myName.split(',');var firstName = nameArray[1].trim(); // Assuming the first name is the second elementplayer.SetVar("firstName", firstName);// Fetch the job familyfunction getJobFamily() { var jobFamily = ""; $.ajax({ url: "https://your-docebo-instance/api/user/v1/users/me", type: "GET", async: false, headers: {

Hi all, I was doing some testing while creating new coupons, and I may have found a way that users could potentially abuse the system?To my understanding based on the properties applied when creating coupons, you can set them to either be:Used multiple times by every user with the code Used once by every user with the code Used once by any user with the code, but with an upper limit of how many users can redeem it   And discounted a % amount a $ amount The issue:Scenario: I want to provide a single-use coupon to 4 users, to be redeemed on any single paid course they choose.As such, I set the parameters to :Single-use coupon with limited usage - 4 users 100% discount (not $ amount, since we have varying prices based on course content) 3 month expirationHowever, since the coupon is applied at checkout, the user could potentially load up the cart with every paid course we offer, and the one-time coupon will be applied to everything - not just 1 course. This is a pretty significant po

Hi Docebo, I am struggling to obtain an access token via PowerBI. I started from DanBrill’s helpful post here:  But I am hitting the same general issue that user gogrizz mentioned several posts down. PowerBI sends an error that it is not able to authenticate with the credentials provided.  PowerBI is able to retrieve a token using the Client Credentials grant type, but this token will not allow me to use the 7.0 APIs (as mentioned in the Docebo Help File https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082060-APIs-authentication#h_01HJ6PBHP8F9MNAGNRSSJ7H9FK) This is particularly confusing because I am able to obtain a working access token using the same credentials through other apps like Insomnia. I feel like there must be a credential type mismatch somewhere that I’m missing, but I am fully stuck on where to look. Any help would be awesome! My query is as follows: let    // Define the token endpoint URL    tokenUrl = pTokenURL,    // Set up the request headers    headers = [        #"

We need to pass course progress from Docebo into Salesforce, but have not found a way to do this via API or Docebo Connect. Is anyone aware of a way to get this information?Some background: we are using this for customer training and it is perhaps the most important data to help us understand how active the learner is in the course. I know we can get time spent in the course but we have found that to be so inaccurate (reporting hours when only minutes were spent in the course) that it is effectively useless.

Hi Everyone,I’m attempting to onboard Docebo to a SAAS solution called IdentityNow. In Postman we needed to pass both the client id / secret and username and password to retrieve the token for API calls. In IdentityNow, we’re able to establish a test connection but we’re unable to pass the token to other API calls in the source leading to a 401 error. Has anyone been able to onboard this source successfully to IdentityNow or other SAAS solutions?Thank You.

Hi there, Is anyone using a connector or integration for scheduling live ILT and general TMS needs in conjunction with an SSO? If you are using Training Orchestra and you are also using an SSO integration with Docebo, what do these connections look like for you? Does it cause additional set up and issues because Training Orchestra is outside the SSO? Are you using any other TMS software or services that your customers enjoy (and do they play nice with your SSO)?

One of our SMEs wants to host a course where staff will:Watch a video Complete an assessment Sign a waiverThe waiver is an official form provided by a governing agency, so we need to use their form. The second half of this step is that the SME then needs to fill out the bottom half of the form confirming that the staff member completed all training. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to manage this? I’m wondering if I can do something where the learner esigns the form and it is automatically sent to our SME, then she would execute it and send it back. I don’t think this is something we can track in the Learning Hub though?

Is anyone using the Docebo/Eventbrite integration to manage their Instructor Led Training? Are you collecting payments? Is it working? Is it another layer of complexity? Is information translating over correctly?

Hi - Love the new calendar template for Connect Outlook recipes! We want to make some small modifications to include an opening sentence. I may be missing it but I don’t see course link included in the schema or html in the new recipes/outlook calendar event template (“The relevant course link is added to the calendar entries”) Will it be added?Docebo Connect recipe updates for Google Calendar and Microsoft Office 365 Calendar adding new featuresFor those using Docebo Connect for Google Calendar or Docebo Connect for Microsoft Office 365 Calendar, the integrations now include the following features:Room and location information added to calendar entries The relevant course link is added to the calendar entries Users can be hidden in calendar invites Calendar entries are removed when a learner is unenrolled from a course or learning plan Making use of a standard message template for calendar invitationswish list: it would be nice to be able to duplicate the calendar event templateIs the

For api endpoint PUT /learn/v1/enrollments/{course_id}/{user_id}I need to remove the date_expire_validity.  However passing null or an empty string returns an error.  How do I unset this date?

HelloI have (what I thought was a) super-simple use case which I am struggling with in Docebo.I have a Docebo instance setup using SSO (JumpCloud is the IdP) which is also integrated with Slack.  The Slack integration appears to drive the format of user ID (firstname.lastname) rather than email address which would ideally be used. I have an external vendor which the Compliance team are using for mandatory eLearning courses.  The same users exist in the LMS of the vendor and also use SSO to access (again using JumpCloud as the IdP).  The user ID here has been set as email address.I have a learning plan in Docebo which contains initial content for user onboarding - various SCORM modules, a couple of videos from senior leaders, etc.  I then need to include the courses from the vendor. I want Docebo to remain as the front door for learners for this.I assumed (I never learn!) that my tasks for the integration would simply be:Export the courses as AICC from the vendor Update the userID attri

To start off with I know there is an API that will retrieve the details of 1 skill but we have 345 (80 core skills) so I really need to find a way get all the skill descriptions without doing each one individually in an API (api-browser/#!/skill/Skill/Skill_skill_v1_skills_skill_id). I can get all the skills their codes and id’s thanks so a very talented team member SQL database and PowerBi. So if that is required I have that information. Is there a report I’m missing or maybe the API is hidden somewhere? I’ve looked everywhere I can think but I just keep hitting brick walls as far as the skills are concerned.Any ideas gratefully recieved.

We have been using the AutomationApp to pull employees via CSV into Docebo for over a year. This week, I noticed new employees being added with missing fields and alternate usernames. Upon checking the Audit log, it appears the User creation switched from the AutomationApp to SAML SSO. Any ideas how or why this changed? I’m still receiving successful CSV import notifications every day, and the SAML SSO user created time and date match what would be expected via the automation.  Audit log screenshot below, with redacted user information. The red box is the latest user creation actions, and the green is what is desired.

I’m testing out the API to create Channels in bulk. I’m heartbroken to realize that channels don’t have codes like catalogs since I have to make over 2k of them. But I digress. I’ve create a channel successfully, but I don’t see the option to set the upload permissions upon creation. Please tell me I don’t have to do this manually. 😥 Adding upload permissions, which is visible when you search individual channels, still allowed me to create the channel successfully but didn’t set it to the parameter I specified. { "name": { "type": "single_value", "value": "Test","upload_permissions": "Experts only", "values": { "language_code": "en" } }, "description": { "type": "single_value", "value": "test", "values": { "language_code": "en" } }}

My team is looking at implementing a payment gateway. Our organization already uses PayPal, so that is the gateway we’re looking at. From testing in the sandbox, PayPal seems to require that the user has or creates a PayPal account. This will be a barrier for our customer base that we’d like to avoid. Is anyone using the PayPal eCommerce add-in without requiring customers to have a PayPal account?
