Hey everyone, on my end I’m getting an On Leave flag from our HRIS for extended leave and if it is true a person is removed from most of groups so they aren’t enrolled in new courses, don’t receive notifications about active courses, and are filtered out of our reporting. That has worked fairly well but it’s still a bit of an issue when we release a required course and they go on leave after we assigned it because the clock keeps ticking on their X days of validity. My issue is that as soon as they come back they are flagged overdue since the course was not completed within the validity period/days. Is anyone taking steps to somehow pause active enrollments in incomplete courses? If so, what does that look like and has it worked well for you?If you don’t currently handle those cases, has it been a non-issue for you? Are people completing them before they go on extended leave?

Greetings, I’m a network engineer and my company uses your platform for our internal training needs. As a healthcare company we are highly sensitive to security and as such we perform a lot of network filtering. To achieve such filtering, we require all users (employee’s & contractors) have a VPN client and tunnel all our traffic through our firewall that perform filtering. Unfortunately doing so can tax our systems depending on the type of traffic and overall network load. To improve our overall performance we employ technique called split-tunnel, (see the link bellow to learn about this), for well-known traffic such as voice/video traffic. I’ve determined in our environment that Docebo traffic is taxing our system and thus we want to split the traffic. Now to do this, we require a list of Docebo’s public hosts so that we can add to our split tunnel configuration. Does anyone have any CSS to hide the “Add to calendar” button on the course player page for ILT courses? Thus far we’ve only been able to hide all three buttons (Calendar, Add to Playlist and Related Sections) wheras we only want to hide the first button.

I need to get data out of my system and into some sort of better reporting dashboard. My power users are communicating with me about how much they hate docebo reporting, and we don’t have time to wait for docebo to revamp it. Who here (I know @bfarkas) uses external reporting? That is, tools to run your data into better reporting interfaces for power-users to utilize. What’s the best and easiest? I’m willing to spend more in return for greater ease of use on my end getting it up and running. I need this deployed and I need it yesterday! Help! I do already have working PHP code to pull usernames from iframe and to then query via api for data that is needed. Thank you!

I serve as the Director of Training and Development for my company.  Docebo is being well used, however, we are missing a segment of employees who are hourly and in our warehouses.  There are many implications… Who is eligible? When is time allotted? What kinds of elearning did you find was the most helpful? How long were the sessions that were available? What kind of tech did you use...chrome books, tablets, etc? other “good to knows” for supporting warehouse employees taking eLearning.I’d love to connect with anyone who is willing to share.  Thanks in advance.-Ryan

I have a question I cannot seem to find the answer to. SCORM 1.2Some of our courses are published with tracking settings set to “Complete/Incomplete” as they are binary courses (they either pass it or they need to retake it; 0% or 100%). Those courses do, however, have some interactions that Storyline calculates a “grade” for even though we don't want Docebo to track them. Unfortunately, Docebo is extracting that score in the reporting and we are trying to figure out the following: How does Docebo track the scoring from a SCORM? We are creating a course shell in Docebo asking Docebo to score it based on the SCORM, so I wish to know what specific variable, data point, etc is Docebo extracting from the SCORM to generate a score. That way, we as designers know what to manipulate in Storyline.

When testing the email verification feature, it seems as though an email is sent about 50% of the time. Our organization has tested this with multiple personal and professional emails and we can’t seem to figure it out as sometimes we do get an email from Docebo to verify the email address, and sometimes we do not. Has anyone else experience this inconsistency with email verifications? 

I only just started out using some HTML for HTML training material by copying some code from somewhere else and playing around with it. I made some <!-- … --> comments to mark what was what, but they disappear once I save the code. Any way to change keep them in there?Is there anything else that gets stripped?

Hi everybody,I’m wondering if there is any way to get Docebo to send one of the configured notifications when I trigger it externally with an API. I though it was not, but I found a certain endpoint called “Sends an external notification” [POST] /manage/v1/notifications/external_notification which, though, doesn’t have any description and I don’t understand how it is supposed to work.Does anybody use it or know how to configure it properly?I also checked on the section “Notifications” of the API browser, but I did not find anything interesting for my use case (maybe somebody can point something out that I didn’t notice!).Thanks!Mauro

Hello, If we iframe a comslider in as an html widget on our homepage, and a user clicks a link in that comslider, can we make it navigate the whole “master” docebo page? Or do all comslider links have to be “new window” or “in iframe”. Here is an example of where the comslider would go - replacing that “limitless” banner. 

Hi, Could anyone enlighten me as to how I can change the ‘Back’ icon fill (circled in red) without changing the fill color of the ‘Magnifying glass’ icon (also circled in red)?I can’t seem to change one in my CSS without the other also changing. Thanks!

I have a platform where some students will report to academic coaches and academic coaches report to admins. I have the following:Branches == internal users (current state within a school district) and branch external users for future state with students outside the school district. There are 3 lesson plans, and one course that is outside a lesson plan. The lesson plans == grade level and will be available to all students, the course will only be available to students who report to a coach. Additional fields for students to select what grade they are in, so they get enrolled into the corresponding lesson plan. Moderated enrollment turned on (flexibile to change this if this doesn’t make sense) What I am having a hard time piecing together is:Is there a better way to automatically enroll students into their corresponding grade?This came to mind because I am also trying to figure out how to do the same

Hi,We’re looking to use channels to share videos with external customers, outside of our usual courses. We’ve created groups and used cohorts so that Q&A/comments for items in the channel are only visible to each company group, but for every item in the channel a user can “create a playlist” and “invite to watch”.  For these options, the user can see all other users in other companies or we just don’t want them (i.e. we’ve hidden the main playlist button at the top of the screen using CSS that we were given).Can we disable the create a playlist or invite to watch options? Or does anyone know the CSS code to hide them? Thanks in advance for your help!  This is a screenshot of an item in our channel:  

Is anyone else having issues with using the “Record Your Screen” option for video training material on a course?  Our instructors have been using this to record new videos and as of this past week or so, they are now getting an error after ending the recording:  At first we thought it might have been something on our network that changed, but we had someone test from home with a personal laptop (iMac) and he got the same error.

Hi We have been asked to make the ‘The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism’ provided by HEE available on the LMS as we understand all users need to complete this but we are having issues with the module not recording completion.  Is this something anyone has experience of?  If so how did you deal with this? Many thanks for any assistance

Why are links clickable in email notifications but not in the in site notification? It is the exact same text in both.  Is this an error or is this how the system works?

Hello,We are using Docebo as a platform for students and their educational coaches. What we are trying to achieve is a way for students to be able to reach out to their assigned coach (manager) at any point if they have questions or things they want to chat about. The idea would be that students and coaches could have a “messaging system” in the platform. We have somewhat achieved this with localization and observational checklists, but those have to live in courses.  We would like this to be from the home page if possible. Does anyone have any ideas?

I recently found out that the ILT session starting notification only works with events on the hour - otherwise, if the event is - say 10:30 - the notification will be sent at 9. Has anyone experienced this issue, and if so, did you find a workaround? Thanks!

Hello, I was wondering if a single course can have different registration processes based on an audience or group.  For example, one group has access to register but another is waitlisted?  Can one single course have multiple registration processes associated?Best,

We have a course that has numerous formative tests that do not count for the final score. For this course we've set up a notification that is triggered by the event "User completed or failed a test in a course”. In the email that is sent we want to see the answers the learners have given and their score. For this end, we use the shortcode [test_result]. Now we receive notifications for a formative questions as well.Is it possible to only receive an e-mail for the final (summative) test? If we use the event "Learner completed a course” to trigger the notification we can only use the shortcode [final_score], which doesn't show the answer the learner submitted.

Hi, I am about to be developing multiple new branches for various lines of products that our company has - for example dairy, plant based, protein etc… lets say there will be 5 branches. Some of the users will need access to for example all of them and some to dairy and plant base - 2/5. Would it be possible to create something like a homepage to see overview of the branches and then select the one you want to see learning content from as a “subpage”? This way I could assign the user the one he/she needs without manually re-assigning them just to see other content. Or what do you think would be the best solution to go about this? Thanks for the suggestions and help.

Is it possible to time out the system when an employee is inactive? Right now, if an employee starts a training and if they leave it open for hours, their training material time accounts for that and skews the time. Any best practices for this? Thanks!
