You're in. Welcome to the Companion Product Design Group.
Companion is built on a simple premise: the best moment to learn is when you actually need it — not in a separate session, not in a separate tab. We launched Companion in General Availability this spring, and we're already deep into what comes next.
This group exists because the best product decisions don't happen in a vacuum. They happen when the people who use the product get a seat at the table early — when requirements are still being written and designs are still being questioned.
That's what this PDG is for.
Here's what to expect from us:
- Regular updates on what we're building and why
- Early-stage designs and concepts open for feedback
- Occasional research invites when we need to go deeper
- Honest conversation about tradeoffs and direction
Here's what we're hoping for from you:
- Honest reactions — including the critical ones
- Context from your world that we can't see from the inside
- The kind of input that makes a product genuinely better
We've also just added Companion to the community so, when submitting an idea, please choose it as the Product Area and be sure to use it as a tag when submitting a question or conversation post. Whether it’s a feature request, a workflow pain point, or just a "it would be great if Companion could..." moment — post it, vote on others, and watch it feed directly into how we think about the roadmap.
And if you'd rather talk through your feedback directly, I'm keeping a small number of 30-minute slots open for PDG members. Book one here — no agenda required, just a conversation.
Glad to have you here. Watch this space.
