It’s week 2 and we’re continuing the birthday celebrations, including our virtual birthday social on Friday, May 16 🎉

Anyone who attends gets FOUR additional ballots into the birthday draw AND another chance to win some amazing prizes that will only be available at this event.

🗣 Huge shoutout to all of you who answered the question from week 1 (over 50 of you!!). If you haven’t already replied to week 1, you still can. Each answer gets you 1 ballot into our birthday draw (check out this post to see the FOUR prizes that are available to win...they are really good 😉). Oh, and if a ballot is not enough incentive, your very first answer will get you this snazzy 4th birthday badge:

Earning a ballot is simple, all you have to do is reply with an answer to the prompted question in any of the 4 weekly birthday posts!

Your first answer will earn you the Docebo Community 4th birthday badge and 1 ballot into the draw. If you answer the question in each of the weekly birthday posts by no later than May 31, you’ll have earned 4 ballots. Please note, only the first answer on a post will be counted. Any additional replies on the same post do not count for additional ballots.

In our second post of the month, we want to know…

In what ways has Docebo Community helped you? (If there are specific examples, we’d love to hear them!)

We are excited for all of your answers 👇👇👇👇

I think my biggest “help” I’ve gotten out of the community is with finding outside-of-the-box solutions for things we’d like to be able to do with our LMS, when there is not a direct, clear-cut way of doing those things.  I am not as familiar with things like API and CSS, so being able to tap into the immense community resources on here has saved me a lot of time and frustration!

This community is nothing short of amazing!  Not sure I can think of one absolute best/biggest help, but I will try.

It’s the connections.  I have met so many helpful, fun people in this community. I have received help on things like html/CSS ‘stuff’ (thanks @Bfarkas and others), best practices help and just knowing I am not alone is a huge help. Thanks Docebo...this community rocks!

The CSS posts have been a lifesaverrrr! I can’t pick just one because I have used so many of them. I am a one-person team so being able to use the CSS for certain aspects and modify as needed helped me get up and running faster!
And the Design Inspiration threads like this one! Helpful to see what was possible when I was designing my very first pages!

I ditto what others have said, the CSS/HTML posts have been nothing short of amazing!  It’s great to have a community you can come to for resources, answers and ideas!

This community is incredibly supportive! It thrives on cooperation, not competition.

Recently, @dklinger was kind enough to hop on a Zoom call and show me how he’s worked through two challenges similar to ones that I’m facing related to executing our compliance training initiatives.

As a customer who is still in their first year with the product, I’ve found that a quick community search is a my best bet in solving a unique use case that our business has proposed. And if no one else is talking about a similar challenge, a quick post will usually receive some advice from others.

The community is a great place to find information that may not be in the FAQ. I like to use the community to find out what best practices other companies are implementing. I often tandem the information I find in the community with some advice from Docebo experts and support.

I have found the CSS help unmatched, but also being able to ask questions about the really little things and get my thoughts out into the world! I have really enjoyed learning through the community as well :)

The user @lrnlab answers my questions from a practical administration standpoint. They clearly have extensive experience with the platform and lots of solutions for ways to make things work, including lots of creative implementations to meet business needs.

The Community has given me answers to many random questions about things I’m wondering if I can do or checking to see that I am doing them correctly.

I come back to the community regularly not only to give a hand, but to also see the similarity and differences in how we solution for things.

What I have found is that L&D folks are kind enough to share where the good and the bad are - and more importantly, how we work with it to make it bend towards what we need. The amount of cost saving versus going to a consulting solution and have that come up dry or even more - as an exuberantly overpriced solution continues to show the value of interacting with others that are in the same trenches.

We are better together :).

I agree with the posts above. As one of just a few LMS Admins here, it is wonderful to be able to tap into someone who has the exact same job, same LMS, same challenges, and same wins to be able to see if someone else has a work-around or better idea. The CSS/HTML support (thanks @Bfarkas and others) has been a lifesaver to me as well.

LMS admin feedback on product releases and the CSS/HTML support have been helpful.

The Docebo Community is my “go to” when troubleshooting an issue.  I also use it to discover what other Docebo Users are doing with their platforms.  I go to it often to review the release information.  Additionally, I use it to learn some tips and tricks, particularly with CSS.

1- The Docebo Community has helped me get CSS/HTML code to increase our users visibility or decrease it where needed. 2- It has helped me through updates and how to manage those changes. 3- Its given me the opportunity to teach back as well.

I feel like i should say CSS/HTML - but we are not currently using those features (so if that helps - we def will be looking here for sure).

One specific answer is how folks were/are managing multi-language courses and ILT when we first started. Going through and seeing how folk have leveraged the tool to work for them is great.

It’s a place of “my people” … nerdy, geeky, creative, passionate for learning, highly challenged by bosses that want the world their way 😉, and who just overall give a sh*t about being the best they can be. The folks in this forum are largely responsible for me keeping my sanity on a daily basis. Thank you.

The Docebo Community has been instrumental in enhancing our platform both during the initial development and ongoing enhancements. By connecting with other users, we've quickly resolved platform issues and uncovered creative ways to improve learner experiences. Community insights have helped us identify both system limitations and opportunities for customization, leading to more effective content delivery and user experiences. The shared strategies and real-world use cases directly influenced how we design, implement, and evolve our learning initiatives.

Additionally, the ability to add feedback directly to Docebo using Ideas has allowed us to feel heard and think creatively about our targeted goals for our platform both from an internal perspective and customer.

The Docebo community has been very helpful for us trouble shooting unique use cases. Sometimes there’s not a perfect platform functionality for us, but individuals in the community have come up with some work arounds that really help us!

For me it has been helpful to have the exposure to all the various ideas and ways of using the platform. These often present as questions looking for help in implementing those ideas but they are many times things I may never have thought of on my own.

A good example is FAQs in the form of an accordion.

I liked the idea and set out to create what I think is a worthwhile one.

CSS and APIs challenges!
Shoutout to all the people who share CSS examples.
