Hi! I’m relative new to Docebo and I’m wondering if it’s possible to set the status for a learning plan to Complete for a user or a number of users? I find that sometimes it’s necessary to do this and it’s very labor-intensive to go to each course in the LP to set them as complete.  

I want all users to be able to access the my teams page.  is there any real downside to marking every user in my lms isManager=true? (API only action I think). I’m fine with the risk of end users being able to set each other as managers as a joke which is the worst thing they can do that I can think of.

HiWe are new to Docebo and wondering if there is a way to see who has look at a link that has been added to a channel as an asset? We can see the number of views but not a breakdown of who viewed.ThanksAnne

During a test of The API to create courses in bulk, we encountered an error 500 and noticed that one of the usual default fields (when creating a course manually), Catalog Enrollment Policy (seen below) was not being populated.Strangely enough, when nothing is selected, it does allow self-enrolmentIn order to correct this, you can add the following column to your input file and choose one of the 3 options as needed:the column name is: "subscribe_method" and. your choses are:1 = Pending Admin Approval2 = Sef-enrollment0 = Only Admin New also noticed the thumbnail ID is also missing:You can add this column to your input file to load the thumbnail ID:thumbnail_ID*you can find the thumbnail ID via the Get Course Info API

Additional Fields are not displaying under New Reports > Customer Reports area but they do display. I asked help desk two times now but no results in getting additional fields to display in the New Report area. 

Hello!I am working on designing our second domain’s homepage and I am unable to get the background color changed from the default to black. When I preview the page I built in the Desktop Preview, it shows as the entire background is black (which is what I want) but when I activate the page, it remains the default off white color.I have double checked that I changed the color settings to black in Configure Branding & Look for this domain, I cannot seem to figure this out. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.This is what I want: This is what I end up with: 

Basically after 2-3 days of inactivity, the app logs out.Works fine on desktop.

Hello, We have 5000 powerusers and 100,000 users across 600 companies in our Docebo.As we roll out, power-users are pointing out that people who have quit, been terminated etc show up in their user management page. I know we can deactivate members but they will still show up on user management and potentially reporting (if people run the reports without unchecking inactive users, which I’m sure they will). I was thinking of moving all inactivated users to a branch “former members” - which is also where I put branches for companies that no longer are members with us. I don’t want to lose completions data for those former members, even the terminated ones. I was also thinking of moving a large group of inactive members to another branch “inactive users” - and let SSO move them back to their proper branch on their next login. Would this work? SSO is mapping their branch code. We’d have to test this though.

I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year! This year I am hoping to optimize functions in Docebo and customize the appearance. What would be the best thing to learn how to do that? I see a lot of amazing things you can do with CSS. Do I need to learn anything else with that? I also would love to learn how to work with APIs. Do you have any course recommendations for either of these? I am thinking of finding a course on LinkedIn Learning as that is easily accessible for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 

Hello and happy new year! In order to let power users create courses AND run reports on my courses without being able to edit them, I have to use my-teams based reporting now for my power-users (unless someone has a workaround) I would like to add https://in.leadingre.com/manage/my-team/reports to the admin gear menu, since my users keep looing for this “admin task” under the admin gear. Almost all users who have managees will be power users of some kind. Can anyone help? Probably @bfarkas

Hello, I’m new to Docebo. I have a 3-day ILT course. I’ve created the course, the session, and then the event. I scheduled an event for each day. I have specific people that I want to enroll on certain days for the course. I have only been able to enroll employees for all three days. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to do this?

Notifications are sent based on group assignment; however, even after selecting “remove deactivated users from group”, expired employees continue to appear within my groups. Do they still receive notifications or does the expiration override this?

We are looking to give our site a facelift and wondered if you all created your site pages or did you use a vendor? If you used a vendor, who was it?  I’d be vey interested to see any public facing sites that are considered very user friendly and appealing.  I’ve asked Docebo for sites to see examples of work they’ve done but haven’t received any links yet. Anyone care to share?  We initially used a vendor on our site, but 3 years have gone by and we now feel there is room for improvement. Any suggestions would be most helpful.Thanks,

Wishing you all the best for 2023...Has anyone figured out how to unenroll users from a Learning Plan they have not completed?I know how to unenroll a single user from the Learning Plan, so I’m looking for a method I can use on 50+ users. Like a .csv fileI can use a Learning Plan report to find the users who are In Progress or Enrolled, but am then forced to handle each user individually. YUCK! :-)Regards,KMallette/Viasat, Inc. 

For those using the Wire Transfer feature in e-commerce, quick question for you all regarding notifications.I would like to have a notification sent out to Managers when an internal employee signs up for a paid ILT course under the wire transfer option.  Since the notification for “New Wire Transfer Transaction” cannot be sent to the Manager, I was hoping to use the “Users waiting to be enrolled into course” option, but I can’t seem to get it to trigger it to go out when a wire transfer option is used.  Has anyone else had success with this? @lrnlab, I know you are leveraging this feature, do you have any waitlist notifications set up to go out for your organization?

New to Docebo and looking for examples or best practices to replicate a course offering we had in our previous LMS. We call it study hall- It is a drop in vILT session that happens twice a month. The sessions spend 30 min on a focused topic and then transition into a roundtable discussion for learners to collaborate and share. It has been very successful as a microlearning and engagement tool. I need to recreate it in Docebo and am very open in terms of format ( class, channel, whatever) as long as we can meet the following criteria:Learners can see a full event schedule and register for as many of the microlearnings as they want. After the session, a recording is available for attendees and learners who did not attend.   Attending a live session provides the learner a CE credit, watching the recording does not. Hey AllSo I have a little pickle I have been trying to figure out. We are implementing an external assessment platform and I have been able to get the platform to launch in an iframe widget, HTML Learning object, and an external page. Though each of these solutions has had an issue.The iframe widget connects automatically every time a learner clicks on a new learning object, leaving a lot of untaken assessments on the backend. Though this method does send all information I require through the API.The HTML learning object does not send any information to the assessment platform at all, every field comes out blank.Finally, I tried doing an external page (both iframe and new window), and I was able to get information, and the assessment to load, only problem is there is no course code being sent to the platform to trigger the correct assessment. Have any of you been able to get the full course code, user name, and user id from an API anywhere other than a widget? Or is there any way to ho

In Docebo under “My Team” there is an option to assign content to team members. However, when I search for LinkedIn courses to assign, the courses do not show up. If I search for them in my account they will show up but not when I try to assign to other people on my team. Is there a restriction with the LinkedIn courses? Or is there a workaround for this?  

I’m hoping for some help with training material progression. Most of my e-learning courses are set up the same way...a SCORM file course, a survey, and a test. I would like users to progress from one to the other easily. But customers get confused. When the SCORM course is done, they can close it by X’ing out. Then they see a pretty odd screen. See attached image. It makes zero sense to me to have two sets of the same buttons on this page. It also makes no sense that its states the place I left off was the survey, but the “resume’ button doesn’t take the learner there. It takes them back to the course. The last thing learners look for at this point is the list of materials on the right, when the other buttons are right in front of them.ContextFirst, I disabled the internal nav buttons. Customers were getting confused since the button is visible through the entire course. Most think it’s a button to get to the next slide. Plus, nav is not set to ‘free’ so they can’t use it anyway. I am getting from support that EE doesn’t support the go.learn app - or branded mobile app for that matter. We have links on the homepage for EE customers that keep them within EE. For example, in.leadingre.com/lyon/pages/75/lyon-home-page instead of in.leadingre.com/pages/75/lyon-home-page. The first link throws a “link type not supported” error in both go.learn and our branded mobile app. Go.learn asks which EE domain to log in to when first logging in, so it seems like EE would be supported.

We ran into an issue regarding soft validity periods and notifications. We were trying to send ourselves as super admins and power users, an email notification when a soft validity date / end period was approaching for a learning plan, but found that the email notification that was sent was also sent to our users (external customers) who were enrolled in the course as the soft validity date was approaching. Is there any way to prevent the validity date emails from being sent to users and only send to power users and / or super admins?  We would like to use the soft validity period as a trigger to notify our content team that we should review content after a year of active use for updates and changes without preventing users from accessing content while it is under review.
