Course completion with several training materials

If a course has three training materials (let’s say PDF files for argument’s sake) can a course enrolment status show as completed if ONE of the materials is downloaded, or is it only ever if ALL training materials are completed?Asking for a friend - thanks.

Iframe a forum into a SCORM package?

Is there any way to iframe a forum into a SCORM package? It would be great if users could complete their forum assignments right in the Rise course without having to exit the SCORM package. It works linking to it, but iframing it I get a “Firefox can’t open this page” because our Docebo instance won’t allow it due to security reasons. Is that a setting I can change?If it is possible, how would people from different cohorts see the right version of the forum? Has anyone ever done that?

CSS Hide Menu Item

Morning,Has anyone pulled off hiding menu items effectively via CSS?The use case is that I want my users to be able to walk a navigation experience inside of the system (I know that is such an old fashioned idea, but when it is done well? It can do wonders for granularity).And so I know that by adding pages into menus drive the visibilty of pages for users.BUT I dont want all of those pages showing up in the left hand menu. If I pull them? I land up getting 403 permission errors and my navigation experience breaks.I dont mind if Powerusers have the ability to see them.And Superadmins? Well they are very few of them - I dont mind them seeing that noise either but (tend to) have access to everything.I hope this makes sense.

Customize the Registration Dialog?

Does anyone know how to customize the Register dialog? We are going to use Branch Codes to put new users in the right branch, but only for a specific type of users. We wanted to put text near that field to indicate they should enter their code if given one but ignore if they were not given a code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pre-filtered Catalog in a Catalog widget

Throwing this out there in case anyone has any ideas. Currently, we can point someone to a catalog that is pre-filtered, but in an effort to reduce the number of clicks someone has a take to access a training, is there anyway to have an already filtered catalog display on a page in a widget? I was playing around with the possibility of using the iFrame widget, but that would confuse learners. I am also trying to avoid creating a whole bunch of new catalogs, hence why I was playing with filtering our existing catalogs.

Sucess with using Docebo for external customers?

Hi, In my organization we are working with Docebo for internal training of our sales team in our product. It´s have been a great sucess and their enhanced knowledge of the various products has been beneficial in upscaling the sales in the interaction with customers = more product knowledge creates more sales. We have tought about evolving the platform even more and using the platform for external customers, customers our sales team meets, so they can gain knowledge about the products they are (hopefully) going to buy. My main concern is how we can motivate customers to visit the platform. My question is if any in this community has been through that process and has some remarkable success with it and wants to share some thoughts and reflections on how the process could look and how the design of the platform can look. We were thinking about creating different landing pages and so on.Thanks in advance.

How do you format excel to load exported reports directly from Docebo and with a header?

I added a header to an excel file and saved it to xlstart folder. When exporting a report from Docebo the workbook opens, however so does another excel sheet with the report in it. Is there a way for Docebo to use a custom saved excel file that includes a header?As always thank you for your time!nc

Anonymous Survey

Is there anyway to use the survey training material to make an anonymous survey? Currently when I make a survey I have to add the material to a course for users to access. Then, they have to enroll to the course take the survey. While I know the results are anonymous, the user is still recorded as enrolled. How can I avoid the enroll part so that it is truly anonymous.

What is the best way to avoid those wicked 403 permission errors with course links?Is there a best practice?We are not working with an SSO.It wont hurt the person to be autoenrolled as well (and I know that i can use the social link to support that).

late cancellations

Hi,Does anyone have any tips on how we could report on anyone unenrolling from an ILT course within 5 days of the event date? Within our organisation we have a cancelation policy which says if anyone cancels their space on a course late (in our case within 5 working days) , their department must pay a late cancelation fee.The notifications they get will warn them about our cancelation policy but i can't work out if there is any easy way of us (as superadmins) seeing who cancelled late.

Hi All,I wonder if anyone can advise it the following reports are possible. I know we can get raw data out but can we (without having to massively manipulate in excel):Create a report which shows a % completion of all users who have complete a course ,or learning plan Create a report that shows the above but filterable (or broken down) by Department (we have this information stored in an additional field) Create a report which shows which users are out of date for retraining (again broken down by dept) Can we create these reports accessible by either certain people or by managers (again we have this info in an additional field). I'm guessing we would have to set them up as power users.Every report I have seen seems to spit out rows upon rows of raw data and I’m much more interested in summary stats. any help would be appreciated. Bulk changes of users in branches

I currently administer our LMS alongside a very busy role. In order to prevent myself from becoming a bottleneck users are allowed to sign in using SSO which creates a basic profile for them. I then go onto profiles quarterly and update the rest of the user fields. I am able to update all fields using the bulk import tool EXCEPT “Branch”. When I had some time I manually created and moved some profiles to a Branch but for various reasons I haven’t been able to stay on top of this task. We are now needing the Branch field to be accurate and I am unable to See which users are without a Branch assign a group of users to a Branch in one upload - or find a quick way to assign Branch without going through each profile one by one.If anyone has any suggestions I would really be grateful!

Test answers within report

Hi All!My team is working on building a report and we cant quite figure out how to get it to populate what we need. Within individual courses, we’re able to pull reports for tests that include the users and their answers. We’ve added the same test from the CLOR to the end of multiple courses, and we’re looking to pull one report that incudes the users name, date of completion of test, and their answers for the test, sorted by the course name. Any thoughts on how/if this is possible? Thanks!

What video editing software are you using to add content to your LMS?

I’d love to know what video editing software everyone is using. We have a very sophisticated production team that produces a majority of our videos, but also have a ‘tech’ side of the house to create live-drive videos that help our learners understand the technology offerings available to them. We are currently using Camtasia to do the screen recording and while it’s been great for our teams who are spread across the US, I saw this month’s February 2022 Release Video and fell in love with the chapter markers… which inspired this post. What are you using to create video content you share in your LMS?

Hi!As background, we have our LMS under one domain and are using the sub-domain feature to create different “platforms” with customized links for external organizations to use. They can use their platform however they like (for volunteer learning/staff learning/client learning etc). Their platforms are managed by a designated power user who is affiliated with their organization. Right now we have gotten a few requests to use the platform for volunteer/staff engagement. So I was wondering if anyone would like to share few ideas as to how the LMS can be used to influence, retain, and increase volunteer/employee engagement (through discover coach, & share, course modules, gamification or any other feature you are aware of) in relation to sub-domains.. I’ve been on the platform for ~3 months and so I’d be interested to know if anyone has used the platform in this way/ if you have tips & tricks regarding retention and engagement.

Avereage Time changing from hh:mm:ss to hh:mm / How field data be converted?

If I’m understanding the update, it looks like the Average Time field is changing from hh:mm:ss to hh:mm. Does anyone know how the platform is going to edit the contents of that field once Average Time is changed to just hh:mm? Is it going to round up or down based on the “ss” that we have populated? Or just remove the “ss”?

Scrolling Side to Side when Previewing Reports

I’m sure this is something simple I’m just missing, but how do others scroll side to side when looking at previews of reports? I’ve used the left and right arrow keys, but it’s not very accurate and delayed. Is there a scroll bar or button that I’m just totally missing?

We award many badges that are earned with the completion of a course. As a result, many participants have the same score, but appear at different ranks on the leaderboard. Therefore, I wonder what other values are crucial for the positioning on the leaderboard?
