One of my departments is looking into the idea of having it where once a user has been at the company 90 days it will automatically enroll them into a learning plan. I know that the Enrollment App will do so if they are placed into a group, but I simply am not certain how to make it where it references 90 days after their Hire Date is input. Any suggestions, API or otherwise?
Hello! I have a learning plan of multiple courses. The courses have the same due date that are all set within each course since there is no option for soft deadline within a learning plan. But because the learner is enrolled in the LP the due date doesn’t appear on the course thumbnail like it would if they were just enrolled in a course, and their manager doesn’t see the due date or the LP shown as past due in ‘My Team’. Has anyone experienced the same and have a workaround?
I am wondering what process people have in place to try to get users that you’ve added to the platform but have never logged in to actually log in. I just spent a good bit of time playing around with the “User never logged in” notification only to find out that it doesn’t really work. It will actually repeatedly keep sending the notification everyday until the user logs in. Of course, what I really wish it would do is send a one time email notification that goes out 5 days after a new user has been created but hasn’t logged in. Super awesome would be able to set up different emails like a series of 3, each one with varying text using different language to entice the user to log in. So one that goes 5 days out, one that goes 10 days out, and then maybe 15 days out. There are suggestions in the ideas portal so go vote if you’d like to at least have this email notification be a one and done thing. So now I am going to have to think of a more manual process. Unfortunately there’s no way th
Hey Community :)I wanted to make a guide / small knowledge share based on a ticket I recently had in regards to the .vtt files that are added as translations to video training material. If you’re looking to learn more about Video training material or adding such to a course, I’m here for any questions but I’d also direct you to this Knowledge Base here.Something that came up earlier today was that we encountered a VTT file that wasn’t uploading properly to the learner view on the video. You could select the language by pressing “CC” in the video player, but the translations wouldn’t come up. To fix this, we did the below on a Macbook Pro in Terminal: Taking a VTT file with a utf-16le charset and verifying the charset / encoding with file -I thefile.vtt in Terminal (it’s a capital i as the option in that command) We then tried to use it as a translation for the video training material but it failed to load when playing the video We then ran the following command to change the encodi
Hello,When I was designing courses last year, I found it endlessly frustrating that everyone is always white in clipart. With the power of AI, I’ve been using Midjourney to create tons of diverse clipart which I’m making available free, no attribution required (if that’s allowed in your country; many countries do not allow waiving of attribution). Check it out and spread the word! Rodman.Ai
Hello, everyone. In a digital world, my team needs to move faster. However, I’m surprised that there aren’t more tasks in the task list widget that apply to SAs and PUs. Here’s what I’m looking for:Let’s say I have 250 e-learning courses published. Our of the 250, I only need real-time information on 10 of those courses. When I say real-time, I mean that an individual (customer) completes e-learning and passes a test, then my team gets the score immediately. Next, (this is the important part), my team must perform an action for that customer (issuing software access) within two hours. That action is outside of Docebo. I’ve assumed that getting this information would be easier in Docebo, but the best I can do is schedule a daily report. There must be something I can put on my PU’s dashboard that addresses this need. Please...no APIs, code, or other solutions. I appreciate how talented ya’ll are, but I don’t have that capacity or budget right now. Thank you.
Hi All,I have tried searching and not found my answer, so perhaps I didn’t put in the right keyword combination. We are only about 6 months in as a Docebo customer. For our legally required courses for our employees, there are occasional reasons why we want to mark their enrollment status as complete (perhaps they took a training class at a fellow institution we are counting). We know how to go in and change their status on the enrollments page, but I can not find anywhere that is available to put a note as to the “why” we chose to override it. I would like to be able to document in the portal so that if I or the HR person are gone, it will be clearly documented why a hand alteration was done to their enrollment status to completed. It would honestly be even better if changing a person to completion required the user enter a reason for the change.Maybe I am missing something? Thanks!Scott
Hi all! I’m a little late to the party on testing the new course and learning pages in Docebo. I had some questions specifically about the new course in catalog page:We used to be able to hide the course in catalog page and go straight to the course. It seems like this is no longer an option. Can someone confirm? Is it possible to customize the widgets on the course in catalog page. A number of our courses have descriptions embedded directly in the SCORM objects, so we do not have them in Docebo. This means we are going to have a bunch courses with blank descriptions. It would be helpful to be able to hide the description on a course-by-course basis.
Is there a way to take videos “out of a course” and move them or assign them to a channel? We are redesigning some pages and I want to use the channels widget to make videos more accessible. Re: screenshot - I would like this widget to display all of the videos inside of this course.

Hello all, I’m wondering if there is any way, or if anyone has a workable method, to pull how long each user took to complete each assignment within a Course? My team runs a 3-5 week New Hire ILT Course and I want to try and pull individual completion times to gain some metrics on how long it is taking for each course to be completed on average for lesson planning. I haven’t been able to find a decent way to do this other than opening each individual assignment/module and then manually calculating duration based on the completion vs start date/time columns. Any help is appreciated, thank you so much! Jeremy
We are in the implementation phase of our relationship with Docebo and I am struggling to determine the best structure needed to accomplish our long term goals. We plan to use the platform for everything from onboarding, compliance training, management training, general training, business line specific training (think sales, account management, accounting, ect) and eventually client/prospect learning. Some of the training will be required, some self-enrolled. Does anyone have pointers on setting up Branches and Groups? Maybe something you learned after the fact and wish you would have done differently.Thank you,
Hello all, I’m wondering if it’s possible to have users enrolled in the same VILT session, but each user has different Courses assigned to them. For example, VILT has 2 users - A and B. User A is enrolled in the VILT with Course option 1, and User B is enrolled in the same VILT but with Course option 2 so that both can access the same Zoom link for attendance tracking? Thank you! Jeremy
Today was the day! Our team went live with our first instance of extended enterprise!! I want to give a special thanks to @KMallette for being our guiding light on this project, and @dklinger and @pmo for all of their contributions toward this success. Couldn’t have done it without your help. My question: When users go to the old URL, in this case lms.flpps.org , they can still login to their branch and see their pages. Is this supposed to happen. When logging in at their new EE (lms.flacra.org) everything also works there. I just don’t want them to even be able to view the old site. Is this possible?
I have a PDF file that I would like to share as an Asset so they can download and print it, but it keeps uploading as slides. I've been told slides are the only thing supported as an asset, and a PDF can't be an asset. If that is the case, do people convert their PDFs to better work as slides so users don’t have to scroll? If I wanted it to be slides, I would have DESIGNED it as slides!I want to be able to add a widget to the homepage that allows them to click and download the file. I don’t want to require they open a course (which some find intimidating because “they are too busy”). We try to keep the widgets dynamic, spotlighting tips and tricks, best practices, new release information. Sometimes I link them to a special review course, but sometimes I just want them to download the PDF. Since I can’t link directly to content in the Central Repository, I thought Assets would be the answer!Do I have to send them into a course just to download a PDF?
Does anyone know what triggers the “verified” vs. “unverified” menu in the user profiles? I have some users that are unable to access their course material, and (through a lot of trial and error!) I figured out it was because they were “unverified”. But I’m not sure why some of my users are verified and some are not. Anyone know what triggers it? Thanks!
Anyone come up with a easy-to-manage workaround for the Manage Page page to find which menus a page is attached to?Currently I am putting the name of my Home page (the code) into the description, and/or impersonating a user who I expect to use that page (which is a whole other process in itself)I have added my vote to the Idea already.
I would like to upload a FAQ document with an option to add a search functions, eg. you just type in a specific word and the document offers you all Q&A than contain that word. In our case it’s useful, because the Q&A are often cross-course. I was told in the help centre that this does not exist for the moment. What do you think to add this kind of feature?
Hello amazing Docebo people...I have received a request to add a survey after every training material in a course (and for a lot of courses - over 100 courses).First thing that comes to mind is creating a survey in the central repository and reusing it, right...makes sense. But if I have to add a survey for each training material, then I need multiple surveys in the central Repository since I can’t add the same training material to any one course. Not necessarily one survey per training material, but one for the highest number of training materials I would have in any course (right now that is about 7, but could go higher). Survey 1 Survey 2 Survey 3, etc. Then put Survey 1 after the first training material, Survey 2 after the second and so on...Another thing - having a training material in the central repository named in a way to keep in straight in all courses also is a challenge since I can’t rename the training material in the course to be unique. So using 1, 2, 3, etc. is not great
Hi there, Some of you may have already seen my multiple questions today, so apologies for raising another one (I am on a roll!).I am just starting to learn about working with reports and I have discovered that the Course Duration field reports back in seconds (rather than minutes or hours). Now I can understand how hours might be a challenge to read with decimals and the combination of hours and minutes might be difficult to display, but surely minutes would be much more useful to everyone?Interested to know - does anyone have a requirement for any durations or reporting to be shown in seconds rather than minutes (or the nearest minute)?CheersSean
