I’m looking to assign an observation checklist to certain users, then have a Manually Created Group have access to all eligible Observation Checklists and be able to go in and mark/certify the OC. Right now, I am uploading the checklist to the Training Material section of the Course and then assigning the group as the observer. It appears that setting isn’t working, because when an user is enrolled and goes to click into the course, it says that the checklist isn’t available and to contact the admin. Along with there being a server issue.

Ok, so here’s the use case. Every month we deliver a “Power Up” session for users of our product, announcing feature adds, upgrades, road maps, and the like.  These are delivered to any of our internal or external users who choose to enroll in the course. Here’s the current process: Each month, once we know the content, guests, and date, we create an ILT course, session and then the event as a vILT session with a custom conference link. We also attach a notification to this course acknowledging the enrollment with further join instructions.  While we do add the course to a catalog, the huge majority of the participants enroll by clicking on the enrollment link embedded in a promotion email that goes out to all users with a last active date within the previous two years. It works fine, but we get comments saying that instead of relying on receiving the email or remembering to navigate to the catalog every month, that it would be nice to be able to instead opt in to be auto-enrolled i

Hello,I am testing notifications to trigger 1 hour after the deadline under the “Learn has yet to complete the course” I set a 1 day validity since enrollment and a soft deadline. I have waited a 1 day and 2 hours and the notification has yet to trigger. I have read that editing notifications might reset the timers or that notifications can be delayed due to job batches but no clear answer.  

This series is inspired by individuals working with limited resources and little to no access to dedicated design teams. In looking at sample HTML files from previous posts, I often see images mentioned that have a file path that references a “userfiles” folder. Is there a way to edit this from the user interface? I was specifically looking at this for notifications, though if I upload an image there, the HTML references a file path like this: https://cdn5.dcbstatic.com/files/b/a/company_docebosaas_com/assets/notifications/emailTransport/ (where “company” is the specific URL for a Docebo instance).Thanks for any guidance!

Why can I (a superadmin) filter to a specific channel, but regular users cannot? Is there a setting somewhere that enables that functionality for all users? Including channel names in global search results would be even better, but until then, this would make it little easier for users to find specific channels. Here’s what I see: Thank you!

Hi community,We have some mixed experience with archiving courses and certifications. My understanding was that when a Super Admin/Power User archived someone's enrolment from the course management > enrolments screen that this would archive the enrolment but also renew the certification, so that when we mark the new enrolment after archiving as being completed the certification should update with the new completion date. We’ve seen examples of some users having the certification date updated when we do this and other examples where it hasn’t updated the certification.We have a number of courses that we do this for as they aren’t advertised (non published) courses so the users aren’t going through the ‘renew now/renew certification’ process for this course certification, so thought the above would let us archive users in bulk without having to go into each user and select the renew now/renew certification buttons to start the renewal process.Do

Hi everyone,we are currently still in the process of implementing Docebo, and I have a bit of a mental knot when it comes to enrollments.I understand that there are two ways to handle enrollments: directly within the course and via enrollment rules. What works the same with both methods is that users who are newly added to a group are automatically enrolled in the course.The key difference, as I understand it, is that only direct course enrollments also enroll all current members of a group. From my perspective, the only advantage of enrollment rules is the overview they provide of which groups are enrolled in which courses. This overview is missing when enrolling groups directly in the course itself.What I’m missing is a clear understanding of which use case calls for which method.And how should I proceed if I accidentally enrolled the wrong group in a course?

I am a new LMS Administrator and was wondering if Docebo has implemented an easy and quick solution to manage different notifications for course enrollment: different notificaions if the course is an eLearning or a ILT. Last discussions in the community are updated to 2 years ago.😮

Hello,When a manager goes to enroll their team member into a course (my team → ellipsis Enroll in course), the title of the course appears as white on a white background. You can only see it if you select it or highlight over it... I do not see white font in our Configure Branding & Look section (Colors setting) or CSS settings (only thing for CSS is our homepage setup, widget for page etc.). I know the My Team page is a built-in page… Any ideas on how I can get the words to appear in a darker color without impacting how the homepage looks?

Have you ever accidentally deleted a training material thumbnail?Adding a training material thumbnail is a great way to customize a learner's experience in your platform, but its really easy to accidentally delete a thumbnail - and when you do it will delete that custom thumbnail everywhere its been applied.While it would be helpful to be able to adjust how easy it is to accidentally delete the training material thumbnail, I've come up with some quick CSS to remove the delete icon from the thumbnail and save folks from the experience of accidentally removing hours and hours worth of work...definitely not speaking from experience.The CSSThis should correctly identify the delete icon on the training material thumbnail and remove the scary red “x” from the thumbnail and let you upload and adjust them in peace./* Hide ‘Red X’ on Training Material thumbnails */.sub-item .deleteicon {display: no

Hi All, sharing a major challenge I am currently facing.  A ticket has been submitted; however, I’m wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what the resolution was.  Last week, courses imported through the Marketplace worked fine. No issues.  Today, I received an escalation from a new learner that they were unable to complete their mandatory compliance courses, many of which are sourced from the Marketplace.  I impersonated the learner, tried to access the courses myself, and tested other Marketplace courses.  All have the same error message.  We heavily rely on these materials and have hundreds of courses imported.  Below is an image of the error message (I’ve redacted the full message code for privacy purposes).  

As we have been seeing some true cost creep happening in an accelerated pace across the industry with our everyday tools, I have to report on something that one can almost feel is a slimy practice.Articulate 360 - sent along a quote to me this year specifying what the cost would be if I renew on my contract renewal date. And I noticed there was a $250 cost hike per seat that we would have to eat to take advantage of Articulate AI Teams. To be transparent - I run a small shop with only three licenses open. This will not break the bank, but even with 3 seats, we are talking about a $750 dollar cost which means the cost is halfway to the cost of another “legacy” license. At a time where my team (and I can only imagine many teams) has been asked to conserve, this has shown up...and if I wasnt paying attention? I would not take any action.Reading the fine print - I need to one up the license before a certain date to take advantage of the legacy pricing. Now

Has anyone tracked new users vs. time to complete?I’m looking to create a monthly report to see how many new users complete assigned training (as a learning plan) within the first month.  I don’t just want total new monthly users against the monthly completion rate as users from the previous months could be included in that completion rate. I would like to track the specific users every month.  I was considering setting up monthly Groups with date-based eligibility conditions for each month and then view LP completions for the monthly Groups in Insights. This does mean more Group management which I would like to avoid. Has anyone done this or something similar? Or have any ideas on how best to set this up?

I am currently trying to implement a very exciting request on our platform. The aim is to assess the current level of knowledge through a test so that suitable courses and modules can then be assigned. I could solve this with a questionnaire test in our academy, but I can't implement everything I want to. That's why I'm thinking about developing a test with Rise/Storyline that, in addition to questions, can also ask about the "feeling" or personal assessment of confidence in this solution (from "I guessed" to "I'm very confident"). This additional information then affects the score. I would then like to have this analysed for all participants. So it goes far beyond "pass" and "fail". As I understand it, I need to work with XAPI statements for this. However, I only see technical articles here on how to send statements to the Docebo LRS. But how can I retrieve them in order to analyse and statistically evaluate them? Certainly, some analyses need to be anonymised,

I need to update over 600 users with new email addresses and usernames.  I can do this via the CSV upload, but it doesn’t seem to trigger the User Modified notification I have set up to let the users know this has been done.Does anyone know how I can easily notify these users that their username/email address has changed?Thanks

we are mid-implementation and I do not want use the Marketplace to create because there are some LiL catalogs we want to avoid.  From the documentation provided (links below).  I see how we can get our LinkedIn content in the Central Repository.However, Docebo says they don’t have a process to create, update, or unpublish courses based automatically.Also looking for a process to create Learning Paths based on LinkedIn Learning Learning Paths.Has anyone been able to do this via APIs?Ronhttps://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082140-Activating-and-managing-the-LinkedIn-Learning-integration

Hello all!Did a recent update remove Learning Plans from Global Seach results?I see the welcome update of being able to exclude specific items types from Global Serach results, in particular Assets and Training Material.  However, I cannot get Learning Plans to be searchable.  I have not excluded anything with the new settings.  My users can’t find Learning Plans.  I’m a super admin and can’t either and I’m using the exact names and key words.Learning plans do return as search results from catalog and other course pages.Was this an expected update and I missed it?

While playing around in our sandbox today, I found this new option  when enrolling users:tried a few different settings and it seems to apply this to the courses...just not sure what the difference is between Mandatory and Required. Looked in KB but nothing is mentioned and this was not in the release notes.Ned to understand the different combinations and what they mean for users...for example, below you can see a course with a setting of “recommended” WITH and expire date...how does this work for users? Does it mean that they should completed before that date? How is this reflected in reports? Are notifications tied to these statuses?So many questions...@erin.brisson do you have any additional information on this? Thx

We’re building our ILT courses as usual.One course is over 2 days so we have 2 events within 1 session (Fairly normal!!)The course has been allocated a Session Instructor as they will be running both days - but they are locked out of the training.There are no special enrolment permissions - nothing out of the normal.I have fixed the problem for today by deleting the Session Instructor and adding as Event Instructor instead - but can anyone let me know what we are doing wrong?  

Our use case: Editing meeting options for a VILT It is possible to set up virtual training courses, and we have Teams connected for this purpose.However, when we set up a VILT via Docebo, we are unable to edit the meeting details in Teams. What works is to create a separate meeting in our Outlook calendar and copy the link into the VILT, but that is exactly what we want to avoid as it creates extra work. We see in this article: VILT for Microsoft Teams – Docebo Help & Support, that there are now options to create breakout rooms but the meeting option from MS Teams are still not possible to edit, correct? Thanks in advance for ideas or solutions. 

I set up some Teams ILT sessions, no problem, used my account in the Event. I’m listed as the Session instructor. Why was I unable to start the event? All I got was “Someone will let you into the meeting.” I figured as the instructor and Teams account holder that would be me?

I’m currently testing the new ‘Follow Channel’ feature and it’s definitely a great idea that’s poorly executed.First off, if a user clicks to follow a channel, why is the notification set to silent by default? Why isn’t the user made aware they need to click the bell icon to activate the notification for the followed channel? This is confusing as hell.It would be much easier if the user clicked follow and was automatically defaulted to an active notification type (e.g. digest). Or, at least signal to the user that they must also select the type of notification!When I clicked follow the first time, I wasn’t even aware I needed to do anything extra. So I followed a channel, but not really since the notifications are muted by default. Poorly executed feature :(
