Hi Docebo community! Can anyone confirm if you are able to add an instructor to an eLearn course shell? It looks like the widget is available, but you aren’t actually able to add the instructor name. Thanks,

Hi all,I have tried to change the colours of the donut and associated text on “My activities” page. I can see that is has been done in Docebo University. @Adam Ballhaussen, would you be able to share the CSS-code used there? Thanks!

Hi EveryoneI am trying to create a Fill in the Blank test question and failing miserably.  What I am reading in the guidance notes doesn’t seem to tally with what I am looking at on the screen and the screen example is so small and moves so quickly that it is no help whatsoever.  In short it’s driving me round the bend.I am trying to create a question that has just one blank to fill. The guidance states:“Begin by writing the question in the Question box. Below, you will see a plus sign button labeled Add Answer. Click this button to add the possible answers for a single blank in the question, then type the correct answers in the box labeled accordingly.”No idea what the “box labeled accordingly” is so, rightly or wrongly, I have created this: but when I try to SAVE CHANGES I get this message: I’m assuming when it refers to ‘title’ it means question.  If I add all the possible answer shortcodes in the question I can SAVE CHANGES but when I preview the question it looks like this:I only n

Use case: In my platform, Institute, about 100 companies subscribe to our premier service tier and can create courses and learning plans only visible to their own users - along with all the general Institute content. They want to create learning plans including my courses and their courses. Can I somehow enable this without having to edit those learning plans myself (or someone else with superadmin)? Thank you!

We would like to set an e-learning course that allow our learners to view the training materials in no particular order, because of this we can’t set a specific TM as an end object marker. Also, our courses include a survey at the end, and we don’t want to require our users to answer the survey to get a course completion. Is there a way to complete a course with a certain number of TM’s outside of using the end marker?

I have written a survey for a program my company has developed. How do I assign the survey to be completed after the modules are done? Ideally I’d like it to be the last required item in a learning plan for the person to earn their badge.

Hi,Does anyone know if there’s any way to see who assigned a specific course/learning plan to a certain user? We have our system set up so users can auto enroll in any course/learning plan but managers can also assigned courses/learning plans. When I see on the system that someone is enrolled in a course/learning plan I would like to see if this has been assigned by a manager or this has been self enrolled. Does anyone know if this is possible? I am asking as I would like to see statistics on self enrolled/assigned by manager. Thanks,

Hi everyone,Just wanted to check my understanding is correct about viewing recordings and online ILT sessions.Normal ScenarioLearner enrols in a ILT course and a Zoom session (event).  Learner attends the session and participates in session. That same enrolled learner can watch the recording that was added post session If a enrolled learner missed the session - they too can watch the recordingOther ScenarioLearner did not enrol in the course or select a session but wants to watch the recording Learner enrols in the course but as the session has been held, cannot enrol in it. That learner cannot watch the recording as they didn’t enrol BEFORE the session was heldIf I add the session recording (downloaded as a video file) to the course training materials as a video, could new learners that missed the deadline watch that video still in the same course - my understanding is no. I just tested it with a “learner” login type and when that test user entered the course it said no sessions are a

How does your team handle the content management for content backlog updates?  We are trying to develop a sustainable and simple process to use with our whole Enablement Team (instructional designers, trainers, and LMS operations).  We need to be able to identify and prioritize the work stream based upon level of effort, impact, resourcing needs, and timing.  Thanks in advance for any ideas on what’s working (or not working so we don’t go down that rabbit hole) for your team.

Hello, there!I’m attempting to use HTML as a means of embedding a video from our DAM. Problem is, it allows downloads! Being relatively new to HTML in general, I’ve looked up the correct code necessary to block, which includes the following:controlList=”nodownload”Now, this sounds like it would be a simple thing to just go to the Source or under the Embed option while entering in the video and edit in that code. However, whenever I save it...it deletes the code. And as such, it won’t allow me to block the download using HTML. Now, am I missing something here, or is this just something the UI is overwriting whenever I save?

We have a use case where our business wants to migrate all the courses, repository from Lower Sandbox to Production . Do we have any automated tools through which i can deploy my data from one environment to another?

I have several ILT classes that are taught by employees who only access Docebo to teach these courses once every few months.  They are not very familiar with the platform, and need to be able to easily and quickly access the courses they are teaching.  Is there a way to have the ILT courses that they are teaching appear in the My Training widget?  This widget is the first thing they see on their homepage when they log in and is the ideal place for the course to live for them so they have easy access to it.  Navigating to the My Courses and Learning Plans page and digging through all of the courses that they have on their account is far from an ideal solution, but is all that I’ve been able to find so far.  Any help is appreciated. Thanks!Jess OlcottTraining Program CoordinatorETC, Inc.

We have created courses in Rise and uploaded to Docebo as a SCORM package. When tracking progress, we can only see Enrolled, In Progress, or Completed.  For those users who are “In Progress”, I need to be able to see exactly where they are in the Rise course, not only that it is “In Progress”. How can I do this? One suggestion was logging in as that user and opening the course, but there are some issues with that as we have many users and we don’t want to accidentally alter their progress in the course.

I’m hoping someone better at CSS than me can help. I’m working with the Q&A widget on a page. I know I can limit how many questions show at once, but I’d like to control the height of that widget a lot more specifically using some height and overflow CSS.Below is a screenshot of me getting this to work in the browser dev tools (added styles are in the red box), but when I put these styles into the Custom Styles of Docebo they do not populate. I’ve tried every combination of classes and IDs that I can find, and nothing seems to make it work. Has anyone successfully done this to a widget that can tell me what they did?

Hello, We are generating quizzes using subtitle files (and course descriptions). Does anyone have a utility that can convert text in the following format into either a docebo-compatible moodle quiz or an articulate rise quiz? It needs some human touchup, but this is amazing! My prompt was “generate a 10 question multiple choice quiz from the following subtitle transcript: “ followed by pasting in the text from a 5kb subtitle file.  What are the two sides in the war that's raging inside us mentioned in the transcript? a) Lion and tiger b) Dragon and goat c) Elephant and rhino d) Hawk and dove What is the dragon mentioned in the transcript a nickname for? a) The elephantine part of the brain b) The goat-like part of the brain c) The reptilian part of the brain d) The avian part of the brain What is the limbic system in the amygdala according to the transcript? a) The dragon b) The goat c) The fight or flight zone d) The comfort zone What does the dragon represent in the transcript? a) A

I have three Power Users performing the same tasks in Docebo for ILT. There is one big problem we have encountered: they can’t see each other’s entries for classroom locations. Because they are all managing customer events (i.e., ILT training), it would help if they could all see all classroom locations. How do we avoid  a massive amount of duplicate locations?

Hi folks. Here’s a question for the css/html-savvy of you.My employer has a new set of Brand guidelines & we are trying to make a certificate to reflect it. Now, on landscape, there is a logo on the right side of the blank certificate template that takes up about 1/3 of the page.So what i need to figure out is how to designate a new set of margins on the page. i’m not all that skilled in coding & i’ve researched it a bit but i keep failing in new & unhelpful ways. I’d like have the text centered, but only within the left 2/3s of the page.As ever, any input is appreciated.Regards,Nate

I was told by Docebo help the following is possible with the API but I lack the knowledge. We have an ILT course that employees have been enrolled in. They have gotten an email asking them to enroll in a session. I’ve been tasked with creating a report of those learners (along with their manager’s names) who have not enrolled in the sessions.Where do I start? Is there a Docebo API 101? What is in the knowledge base is more confusion than what I read in the Docebo API Explorer.Do I write JavaScript to GET the information via the API? Does anyone have sample scripts they would be willing to share? Thanks

Hi there! We offer courses built in Articulate to clients via SCORM only or via our Docebo LMS (where we upload our courses as SCORM).  Our vision within our LMS is to offer users the option of attending a scheduled ILT for facilitated discussion groups after the e-learning course. If a client accesses our course via SCORM (not connected to our LMS) but wants to attend the live discussion, does anyone know if we can create and embed an ILT self-enrollment link into the Scorm file so they can participate in the ILT later?I imagine this would require them to eventually register in Docebo to access the discussion groups. Is there any other way of providing this kind of ILT course access to people who have not started their learning journey within our LMS system?

I can’t seem to find a similar thread or idea - my system essentially has 2 “categories” of content catalogs and we want the My Courses and Learning Plans page to sort using Codes so we can ensure the more “important” set of content appears first. Right now we created a custom page instead, but of course the built-in page is where users are redirected when they enroll in new content anyway. Is this something I can ask Support to turn on? Is there a setting I am missing? Any tips would be appreciated!

Hi! I would like to know if someone here has experience with having customers subscribe to Docebo course content, and if so, how you organized user management. Amongst others, we are using our learning platform to provide (paid) eLearning courses and learning plans to customers. So far, users bought access to a course for a certain period of time (handled outside of the system), and then an admin would enroll them to the course for a specific enrollment period. This year, we are introducing an eLearning subscription, that provides access to a catalog containing multiple courses and learning plans. If a customer purchases the subscription, they should have access to all content within the catalog for one year. What I am struggling with, is finding a good way for efficient user management.Say I have a customer that wants to sign up individual users to the subscription from August 1st 2023 to July 31st 2024:How do I provide them access to all courses and learning plans in the catalog and

Hi,I thought about making question with image footage with Gift. Can this be done in Docebo?Or is there another way?Thank you,Diego

Can I print out an entire question bank for review rather than having to go question by question with a SME looking over my shoulder.

Hi! I know there is a way for a learner to be required to upload a file themselves within a course, but is there a way for an admin to upload a file for a user? We have certificates that are issued by third parties, and would like to store them in our LMS. Any best practices for this?

Has anyone written a prompt yet for ChatGPT to teach it how to write quizzes in Docebo Moodle GIFT Quiz format?
