It’s the last week of May which means our celebrations are coming to an end, BUT it’s not over yet! There’s still lots of time to earn the 4th birthday badge and reply to one (or all!) of the weekly birthday posts to get your ballot(s) into next week’s birthday draw to win 1 of 4 incredible prizes. Prizes and draw details can be found in this post:

Here’s a look at the updated stats for the first 3 birthday posts:

as of May 26 Views Replies
Birthday Post #1 427 92
Birthday Post #2 277 71
Birthday Post #3 183 46

Also, we now have 146 members that have earned the 4th birthday badge!

As a friendly reminder, earning a ballot is simple. All you have to do is reply with an answer to the prompted question in any of the 4 weekly birthday posts!

Your first answer will earn you the Docebo Community 4th birthday badge and 1 ballot into the draw. If you answer the question in each of the weekly birthday posts by no later than May 31, you’ll have earned 4 ballots. Please note, only the first answer on a post will be counted. Any additional replies on the same post do not count for additional ballots.

In our fourth and final post of the month, we want to know...

What would make your community experience better?

Is there anything you wish the community had or any ideas on what can be improved?

Let the answers begin! 👇👇👇👇

I wish I could search for a user in the community...

I wish we could organize regional get-togethers, so that the Community would be more alive. I haven’t seen any in my area (Philadelphia).

I’d love to see a “buddy system” for new users with similar use cases so that they could make contact with a more seasoned user.

This is a great question but hard to answer. I have definitely missed important things in the community but it's hard to pinpoint what would improve that. There is so much in the community. I think a really specialized thing that could help me, and my organization is a place to identify community members working for similar size and scope organizations. I am the only LMS administrator (and I am very green) for an organization of 4000 with about 60% of those people being field workers like utility and laborers. A major hurdle is designing for such a large group that mostly doesn’t engage with the LMS. I would love a place to see others who might be in the same industry (local government/public service) and use case.

If it exists, I would love someone to point me in the right direction.

Thank you!!

This is a great idea!  Like mentoring, not just with the community platform, but with the Learn platform as well.

I really enjoy even having a community like this - I have gotten some great ideas for things to implement into our system and I appreciate being able to search within posts to find what I might be looking for.

I would love to see a “DIY” group where people could post how they accomplished something that wasn’t in the system already or how they managed to get around. Code or creative thinking or looking at something a different way would be a great resource.

I also mentioned this in my last post, but I would also really love to see a glossary of terms along with terminology from other LMS systems - you could even link to a KB article (ex. I knew the term Substitutions and Docebo uses Equivalencies. You could then link to the KB article on Equivalencies). Especially for users who are new or coming from other LMS systems, that was a surprising hurdle for me.

Yes, it would be great to have meet-ups in my area (Phoenix 🌵).

At meetups or Inspire conference, link usernames to our info so we can connect.

Hi Jen, if there are some people who would like to get together near the King of Prussia area (outside of Philly) count me in!

More events talking about how to use Postman, and the API to better access / update information in the system.

With in-depth content. There are a number of such events in the past but they do not get down into enough detail.

Need deeper information like in bfarkas events.

When I am in the Communities, there is a LOT of information and people but hard to connect into a subset or area at a glance -- for example -- a group for Page design, a group that focuses on onboarding, a group that focuses and shares ideas on customer education, etc…..

It is easy to search for a topic and follow a thread but I would like a bigger topic group to join and follow so that I can see the big picture and see what others are doing that I can incorporate or share what I am doing

Perhaps a mentorship event, for newcomers?

I would love meetups in my area, which a few people have said. I live in a fairly rural area so I would need to travel either way but anywhere in NY other than NYC would be a good start lol or even a way to indicate your area so others can find and chat with you.

I would love to see coaching groups, or something similar where seasoned Docebo users and a Docebo rep could serve as coaches. Perhaps one for people who are new to Connect and using Recipes. A group for configuring Power User profiles. A study group for people seeking the Docebo Pro certification. These are just some ideas. I am in Oregon and would love to be able to connect with others in my area.

What would make your community experience better?

Seeing more engagement from the Docebo team when there are questions without answers, when there are ideas with 5+ pages of comments, but no updates in the last few years from the Docebo team, etc.

I would also LOVE to see a way that we can create our own bookmarks for very helpful posts (AND KB ARTICLES) so we end up with our own ‘personalized’ KB.

I’d love to see section for sharing templates or code, I know there’s a lot of great info and solutions people offer to share in the various threads. I’d love to see a central area where newcomers can shop off the shelf for resources that have been shared to the community previously. And I love the idea of regional meetups. It was great getting to my first Inspire this year, and can see how powerful a tool the networking and community aspect can be when utitilzed. Thanks for creating this space!

Seeing as I usually go to the Knowledge Base first, it would be beneficial to group Discussion posts categorically under the same topic headers and perhaps link out to the appropriate discussion from the KB article?

I like the idea of coaching groups as referenced above! It would’ve been very useful when we moved to Docebo the end of last year. A central base depending on the topics we were searching for with experts in that area.

I think it would be amazing to have a space where we can give and get feedback on how we're using Docebo—kind of like peer reviews, but more casual and collaborative. Sometimes I wonder, “Is there a better way to lay out this dashboard?” or “How are others organizing their learning paths?” It’d be great to see what others are doing and hear what’s worked for them—or even what didn’t quite land.

Maybe a monthly thread or spotlight where someone shares a behind-the-scenes look at part of their LMS setup, and others can chime in with ideas, suggestions, or just encouragement. It’s those little insights from real users that can make a big difference and spark new ideas.

I’d love it if we had an option to make ourselves appear in a community “directory” - allowing us to search for other community members, easily see posts by that user, etc.

I’d also like a way to browse posts by some an additional layer of topics or sub-categories.  Sometimes I’m not searching for a specific question, but I’d like to see what others are saying on key subjects.

Definately same for Nordics as well.
I know other LMS providers that do host these type of events in regions which were super nice!

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I would like to see more “after hours” sessions which could be virtual.
In these sessions you could Q&A Docebo around certain topic which would be pre-suggested.

This way you could have knowledge-sharing with other Docebo users in live setting.

I’ll add my voice to the coaching idea, what would be great, especially for areas I’m weak in but want to improve (like customizing the platform with CSS). Being able to see various posts from collected by overall topics would be very helpful. Right now searching for something get you posts from many different areas of the Community (water cooler, questions, ideas, etc.) and it would be great to be able to easily sub-sort those by broader topics (user management, CSS, etc.)
