Well, it’s officially official…

as of May 17, Docebo Community is FOUR!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

But that doesn’t mean the celebrations end. We’re keeping them going all month long! 😀

If you haven’t earned the birthday badge yet, there’s still plenty of time to reply to one (or all!) of the weekly birthday posts to earn the birthday badge AND your ballot(s) into the birthday draw for the chance to win 1 of 4 pretty awesome prizes (you can check out the prizes here 👀).

Before I provide this week’s question, I want to share a quick update on the celebrations. Check out the stats on the 2 birthday posts so far 👇👇

as of May 19 Views Replies
Birthday Post #1 427 92
Birthday Post #2 277 71

Also, 94 of you have already earned the 4th birthday badge! Way to go 💥

But that’s not all.

On Friday, May 16, we held a virtual birthday social. We started these fun birthday socials in year 2 and held another again last year. The first year we had a handful of members join and last year we were grateful to the 13 members who attended (you know who you are!). This year, I’m honestly still in a little bit of shock and to all of you who were there, you were witness to seeing my shock in real time. I couldn’t believe it when 78 of you took the time on your Friday to attend this virtual social to celebrate with me and your fellow members 🔥 Nope, that’s not a typo. You have to see it to believe it ⬇

I continue to be blown away by this community. You are all so incredible and I am just so thankful and grateful I get to be part of it. 💙

As a friendly reminder, earning a ballot is simple. All you have to do is reply with an answer to the prompted question in any of the 4 weekly birthday posts!

Your first answer will earn you the Docebo Community 4th birthday badge and 1 ballot into the draw. If you answer the question in each of the weekly birthday posts by no later than May 31, you’ll have earned 4 ballots. Please note, only the first answer on a post will be counted. Any additional replies on the same post do not count for additional ballots.

In our third post of the month, we want to know…

How easy is it to find what you are looking for in the community?

Please explain in more detail what has made finding what you're looking for easy.

If it’s difficult, what can we do to help make it easier to find what you're looking for?

Can’t wait to see your answers 👇👇👇👇

🌟 Champions Hub Bonus points: To the attendees that are part of our Champions Hub program, you can expect some bonus points in your Champions account by the end of the week as a special thank you for attending our birthday social. For those that attended, but are not currently in the hub, you can get the bonus points if you join. Watch your email for an invite! 🌟

There is so much information in the Community that sometimes it’s hard to find what we are looking for...simply because I might use a phrase a bit differently than someone else...but usually I can find something that I need OR I go to another community, the help desk via tickets and/or chats to find information.

Tags help too, but even then, you will find things sometimes duplicated in tags (singular version, plural version of the same thing (User, Users, User Creation, etc.) maybe that could be cleaned up more often.

I would like to note, I come to this Ah-mazing community first, always!

I find the Community easy to navigate when I’m looking for specific information. The use of tags really helps to streamline search results.

Sometimes I can do a simple search and find what I’m looking for, but I also will just browse the different areas within the community as well.  If I can’t find what I’m looking for within a few minutes though, I often will stop looking and just post a new question.

Finding what I am looking for in the Community is relatively easy. I typically present a question in the search field to see what responses I receive. I peruse the responses to determine if any of them answer my question. If not, I present my question differently to see if it yields different responses. I find that changing the wording will produce the same or different results with additional information. If I still cannot find the answer to my question by entering it in the search field, I post the question to receive responses.

Sometimes I am lucky and find what I need right away. Alas, I do not find it easy to find information I need in the Community, but that may be because of the way I word my question/need. I always start with a search before posting something new though. If I do post something that has already been posted, I am always gratified at the thoughtful, kind and professional ways that people respond and provide information and insight.

I find that there are too many places where content may be hiding, so I do use the Search more than the sections below:

Hello - I usually just start with the Search and see where that takes me. I usually ask in several different ways just to make sure I don’t miss something and then if I don’t find what I am looking for, I start a new question. The community is very helpful and I usually find good information. (thanks all who post)

PS -- the birthday events are a great way to get people involved without a specific question so this is nice. I saw that I earned the birthday badge last year and this year so how fun is that?

If I had just 1 birthday wish it would be to allow the LMS admin to decide the size of the badges in the email notifications and on various pages. They go in as 600x600 but appear teeny tiny everywhere.

There are so many active members that you can find answers or threads easily.  The search functions are amazoing. I love that you can look one place to see everything.

If I had one criticism, it is that the ideas portal is hard to find and upvote things in.

I’ll start by saying it’s pretty rare that I can’t eventually find the answer to my question—but sometimes it does take a little digging! There’s so much great content in the community that it can take time to sort through, and I might not always use the same wording as others, so I usually try a few different keywords or phrases when I search. That said, the community is always my first stop when I’m looking for ideas, answers, or just a bit of inspiration.

Usually when I come to the community I locate information about the assistance I am needing pretty quickly. It’s easy to search by question or keyword.  Even if I don’t find a solution, I’m able to locate enough information to begin to diagnose the best avenue or path to a solution. This community is amazing and it is SO helpful to have a place where everyone is helping each other to make docebo the best experience for their organizations!

I think it was harder to search the Community early on because there was less content, but over time the wealth of information on here has gotten really deep so a search usually gets me to what I’m looking for pretty quickly! I always check before posting a question or idea if that item already exists.

I find it very DIFFICULT as many of the posts titles are not a concise version of the description.

TODAY, I used MS CoPilot, and it was amazing at titling my post in a much better way.

write a message board title for this post

Most of the time I’m able to find what I am needing with a simple search but if not, the tags help me narrow the category and I can find what I am needing.

I typically will do a search if it is a broader typic, but also I might go to groups like the SuperAdmin group if I find it is more of a specific question or tags are ok, but like Jeanette said it all depends on plural , etc.  There is so much great information provided by so many wonderful folks , it is easy to start down a rabbit hole sometimes, but overall always come back with an answer .  This is a place I go , when I definitely know my question is non standard for the knowledge base.

Pick a keyword or phrase and you are off to finding content related to what you are searching for! I personally enjoy how the content is a mix of the community content but there are also resources available from the Docebo Knowledge base. The mix of customer base experiences and Docebo released content supporting the platform functions helps to create a clear picture and support the user experience.

It really depends on what I am looking for, but whenever I find things difficult I think of the words I am using to search for a topic. Be really specific, use Docebo correct language, and be brief at first then extend your search criteria.

Sorry I missed the Birthday Celebration!

I find it pretty easy to find things on the community. I usually search on Google and add docebo community to the search prompt and I normally find what I am looking for.

The search functionality is helpful when I use specific keywords, and the community posts are often tagged appropriately, which improves discoverability. I also appreciate the categorization by topics as it helps narrow down results.

I love using the tags on the Docebo Community to find what I am looking for, or I will google the question and it usually brings me straight to an answer.

Sometimes though I do struggle to find what I am looking for if it is very specific, maybe it is the way I word the question or maybe it is because I don’t always know what it is specificially! But more often than not I find an answer pretty easily.

I usually have some difficulty in finding exactly what I'm searching for, usually due to the fact that I may phrase it differently than others since I'm deep south and may use some southern slang 😅 also I've noticed that it may be completely my fault that I can't find an answer simply because I am not exactly sure how to explain what I am needing. With that example, I think it would be really helpful to have some live support to maybe screenshot and show exactly what my problem is. Also, I love pen and paper and find printable guides or download guides super helpful, especially when I'm trying IRL to do something, I can make my way down the guide and check off or make notes to refer back to.

I takes some time to get familiar with where everything is but once you know whats where, it’s really smooth to operate. 😊

So far, my searches have been fairly basic. The most complicated search would be CSS/HTML code posts for specific features. I would try to use all the keywords associated with my search and get better results! Other times, I can’t find what I need simply because there is no post for it (most likely)

I can usually find what I’m looking for in the Community, depending on which search words I use. I do find it easier to find information in Community than in Help. I usually find all my CSS code in the Community, which is awesome! Kudos to folks who share CSS.

I can definitely relate to others who’ve mentioned the challenge of finding exactly what you're looking for—sometimes it takes digging through quite a few pages. But the silver lining is that I often discover something new or helpful along the way, even if it wasn’t what I set out to find.

I use the search bar for key words to find if others have ideas on what I’m looking for.
