I have just set us up to be a training provider through the American Red Cross and I am the instructor.
Has anyone ever tried to integrate this type of training into the platform? I would like to use their blended models where learners take the course online and then attend the in-person skills course with me.
There are ways to request these from the red cross before-hand and I would like for the course in the LMS platform to check for completion of the online portion and sign up for the sessions. The way the red cross is set up, it may be difficult to do the workflow how it would work best for our group. I would like for us to host twice a month skills courses and the learners/employees know and sign up for a session and then I can ensure the online portion was done before hand, if not, they would wait until the next available instructor led session.
I know that having the online portion be an integrated AICC course would be asking way too much. From the LMS side, it could just be an assessment or assignment I verify before either they can sign up for a session or they are confirmed to attend the session they previously selected. Again, this is hard because the Red Cross instructor portal makes you select the dates and times and pre-register the attendees.
