With Virtual Coach (VC) deprecation, there were talks about “accelerating development and deployment of features better suited for the outcomes” for customers. Do we have a timeline as to when we will have an updated version of the VC? And if not VC, will there be something to take its place in terms of a Chatbot in the near future?

VIRTUAL COACH DEPRECATION - AI AND NEXT STEPS?

The AI team is currently running a number of experiments with generative AI that may end up in Docebo as a partial or full replacement to the functionality offered by Virtual Coach. That said, we're still a bit early in this work - and finding that the risk of AI hallucinations is fairly high when being used in this type of way. When it comes to learning content, it think its really really important to make sure that we're serving learners accurate, reliable information - so we're being very intentional about when we considering releasing something like this, and ensuring it meets a high bar for accuracy and reliability before it ends up in front of learners.
We're developing new technology to help with this, but have no timelines to share yet on what and when that may arrive in Docebo.
