Assigning Courses based from previous course completion date

It was recommended to me to create a Learning Plan - add both courses but add the first course as a prerequisite for the refresher course and set an “unlock interval” of 12 months (or 1 year/365 days).

Do a certification - it triggers renewal based off of completion date

The hopeful updates to the Certification and Retraining app is supposed to include some features to limit when users can “renew” their cert...Hopefully we'll see this in 2026.

We were using Learning Plans, where every month one or two course were becoming available for the user. So far so good, but the LMS wasn’t sending out any notifications, when the new course was unlocked. After contacting the support, we were told that the notification will not work, when more than 2 weeks are between courses.

Due to that, we stopped using time based learning plans, so I am not able to tell you, if this still is the case, but back then, they were not able to change this behavior.

Hi ​@lrnlab, that is what we were thinking wenn Docebo informed us 😊

Important note: this issue happened a couple of years ago, so maybe they were able to solve this behavior by now. We stopped using time based learning plans, so we didn’t check if it was solved, when they launched the new notification app.
