I’ve been tasked with finding out if the Harmony AI search features would be beneficial to our organization. Is anyone actively using them? What’s the feedback and engagement been like? I’d love to know for either the Harmony Search, Harmony Copilot or both.

Not so much as this time...some are a little leery about using them as the search results are not always what you expect. I understand these tools nee to time learn and adjust but some do not want to go through the pains, etc. As for Harmony co-pilot, since this is much newer and only for admins, there may be more uptake there but time will tell

We are currently not fully enabling Harmony search because our existing 1,000 SCORM packages have not yet been processed, and there isn't a specific timeline for this. Additionally, we need clarity on how Harmony search will make relevant information accessible to users who are not actively enrolled in a course.
Mos important: Docebo started to support SCORM packages coming from their Docebo Content marketplace only for Harmony search, and we do not use Content Marcetplace.
Harmony search's answers will not be fully satisfactory for users until our existing 1,000 SCORM packages are processed, and there is no specific timeline for when this processing will be completed.

We have not been using harmony search due to the forced use of harmony chat where we have seen allot of hallucinations.

Can anyone provide an update on Harmony AI? Is it getting better? What is actually going live on April 25 instead of just to Sandbox?

Can anyone provide an update on Harmony AI? Is it getting better? What is actually going live on April 25 instead of just to Sandbox?

Ciao @JKolodner  and thank you for your question.
Here is an overview of how Harmony has evolved since its first release in July 2025.

Initial release: answering user questions

At launch, Harmony AI focused mainly on information retrieval.
Users could ask questions in chat, and Harmony would search for relevant information in the learning content available to them. The goal was to help users find answers faster, without manually searching through courses or training materials.

Behind-the-scenes improvements

After the first release, we continued to improve Harmony in the background.

Expanded content support
We worked to make more content types available to Harmony AI.

Harmony initially supported the content types listed in the Docebo Knowledge Base.
Over time, we added support for SCORM and xAPI / Tin Can  packages created with Articulate Rise & Storyline.
As a result, Harmony can now index, retrieve, and use a broader set of learning content.

AI model upgrades
We also upgraded the AI models used by Harmony. The most recent model update, released a few weeks ago, introduced improved reasoning capabilities.

This helps Harmony better understand user questions and provide more relevant answers.

Admin configuration options

We also added new options in the Artificial Intelligence panel.
These settings give administrators more control over what Harmony can use when generating answers.

Generic knowledge
Administrators can enable generic knowledge.

This allows Harmony to use the AI model’s general knowledge as a fallback when the answer cannot be found in the content visible to the user.

Catalog content retrieval
Administrators can also allow Harmony to retrieve information from catalog content

This means Harmony can consider content that the user is not enrolled in yet, as long as that content is visible to the user through a catalog.

New capability: Content Discovery

With the latest release, Harmony has expanded beyond answering questions.
We introduced Content Discovery directly in the chat experience. Users can now ask Harmony to suggest content based on a topic, a goal or a content type. Harmony then shows the most relevant results directly in chat, using a new dedicated UI.
This makes the content discovery experience more personalized and easier to use.

Improved end-user experience

To support these new capabilities, we also improved the Harmony user experience.
Users can now interact with Harmony through:

  • a full-screen immersive view
  • a side panel

The immersive view helps users focus on the conversation and the information provided by Harmony. The side panel is especially useful for Content Discovery (and tutor). More info here.

New capability: Tutor

We also introduced Tutor, a new AI assistant available at course level. Tutor can be enabled from the Artificial Intelligence panel and then activated or deactivated for each individual course. It understands the structure of the course, the training materials included in the course and the content the learner is currently viewing.
Tutor helps learners by:

  • answering questions
  • simplifying complex concepts
  • providing practical examples
  • adapting explanations to a specific role or context
  • and more…

Tutor gives learners access to the power of a large language model, but with specific knowledge of the course content. It supports all content types already supported by Harmony Search.

What’s coming next

We are now working on support for enrollment and certification information. Soon, Harmony will be able to help users with information such as the content they are enrolled in, the learning content with upcoming deadlines and the certifications that are close to expiring.

We also have many more improvements in progress around this area, and we’ll be sharing more details soon.

I have found Harmony Copilot to be very useful. Despite years of working with the platform, I do forget where a settings or a process that I haven’t done in 6 months. We put it in front of our least experienced power users that manage small hubs of learning development within the company, and they found it very useful.

We have Harmony Search enabled, and have found it useful. But I have not yet gotten any user feedback.

With the available guardrails we have not experienced any negatives.
