I've been evaluating the Glean integration and recently set it up myself. While reviewing the documentation, I noticed it states that the “authorizing admin must be enrolled in all courses for them to be fully indexed.”
I'm currently working through indexing issues and this requirement stood out to me as it seems to bypass much of the existing permission model already in place within Docebo (users, Power Users with assigned resources, and Superadmins).
For those successfully using the Glean integration with Docebo:
- How are you handling the enrollment requirement?
- How are you managing newly created courses over time?
Based on my current understanding, enrolling a service account or admin in every course does not seem practical at scale, particularly for compliance/regulated content so I'm curious how others have approached this.
