Docebo Connect (Workato) No activity / Operation timed out errors - daily

Is anybody else experiencing daily ongoing ‘Operation timed out’ error types in Connect, with “No activity within 180 seconds at line: ” kind of errors?

I had always assumed it was an overload issue at our Salesforce end losing the connection, but now I’m not so sure. And I need to check and re-run failed jobs multiple times each day to ensure none of our synced user updates are skipped.

I sometimes get this with my recipes, although I have set up error handling using the message templates + email by workato. This sends a consistantly formatted email to our help desk any time there is an issue, so it can be addressed promptly. If it is safe to do so, you can also use error handling to automatically repeat jobs, so if it is a one-off timout error, up to 3 repeats should take care of it.

You can set this up with error handling by recipe or you can enable RecipeOps by workato which can do error handling and repeats on a global scale.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of answers on why they happen :(.

That’s extremely helpful. Thank you @hailey.gebhart.

I wasn’t aware of the error handling and repeats option, but it sounds like that’s the way to go, rather than me needing to do this manually several times each day. I’ll look into it.
