My team’s use case is providing training for external customers. We’re looking to use a 3rd party vendor (Coveo) to index and combine all of the different resources we have within the company (training, knowledgebases, community posts, etc.) Does anyone else have experience with this- good or bad? We heard we need to use the Coveo Generic REST API connector to index the content in the LMS so it can be a content source. Any thoughts out there?

@steveninfinger We had an internal contact reach out with initial inquiry similar asking about if this is possible with Coveo. I know this thread is a bit aged, but curious if there was any outcome to this topic for your org?

I did this with Coveo in one of my previous roles. We wanted our customer training options to surface in search results on the company’s main website along with KB articles, release notes, etc. We did this by putting our customer facing content in a public catalog which was then indexed and surfaced with Coveo’s API. It worked perfectly and they were great to work with.

Thanks @jenna_01! We are just starting to look into if this -- appreciate you sharing your approach and that it was implemented successfully!

We’ve used specific channels that our API looks out and surfaces on the company pages. We don’t have any public pages because of our specific use case, but Jenna’s solution may be a reason to revisit it. Thanks to both of you for resurfacing this!
