We need to use course additional fields to store information to send to an external server.  We are using Free Form Text, due to the character limit of the Text Field.  However that type always defaults to HTML, and we need to send plain text.  At the moment we have to paste our text in and then switch to code view and remove the <p> tags.  Is there anyway to get this field to default to plain text?Thanks

I’d really like to see an overview diagram of the various objects that can be accessed via the API. e.g. a learner → course → certificate schema.Is there one anywhere? I’ve been searching high and low. The API documentation seems to just drop you in it straight away.

Anytime I try to access the New Reports page I get error messages and then a screen saying ‘No luck, try again later’. I’ve already submitted a ticket but i’m wondering if i need to warn the rest of my colleagues, or if it’s just on my end. So is anyone else seeing this?Thanks!

Trying to get a calendar invite for our instructors in Docebo. Currently, instructors are adding themselves as a participant to the learner so they can get the outlook calendar invite. Anyone know what steps I can take to add a recipe to my connector that will send calendar invites to the instructors?   

Finally, As we’re creating Learning Plans, we’re finding that when a user enrolls in a Learning Plan, they see the Learning Plan itself AND all the individual courses delivered in their dashboard. We would prefer to only show the Learning Plan and not the individual courses under the LP. How did you get around this?  

Good afternoon Docebo Community - As we are getting ready to launch, I’ve got a few questions I’m going to be submitting to you all in a series of posts. Here’s the first - How can you pull a report of the Courses created in your LMS? There doesn’t seem to be a way to just pull that list. (We can only pull user interaction type of reports.) Thanks!

Our company has a few locations that have “supervisors” who train new hires, but aren’t the direct manager to those individuals.Is there a way I could assign the new hires a supervisor that gives them the same view as a direct manager, but also have their direct manager assigned with the same information?

We’re experiencing that when a Live webinar (ILT) is created, the live webinar still appears for the learners to enroll in the course, even after the session date has passed. How do you turn off (automatically...not manually) the users’ ability to see the ILT after the date has passed? Do you literally have to go into each ILT course after the session has been completed and remove it from the catalog view? THANKS for your insight!

Question.  I have noticed that quite a few of our notifications seem to have a default message that prepopulates for ALL LANGUAGES in the platform.  I cannot find a way to unassign these languages.  Even deleting the message content for those additional languages doesn’t stick.  Is there a way to turn this off?  The generic notification content that is coded is NOT brand standard for us and we prefer to just have the English version for notifications that haven’t been formally localized.  Even when I just create the English, and only select English when creating the notification, it auto populates the other languages - and not with the custom message that I created, but with stock messaging.  Is there a way to turn this off?  This is adding ridiculous rework for us.    

I am trying to get a course for all of my users to be placed into the Archived Enrollments section.  Each user has a different completion date, and I need that reflected.  Is there a way to mass upload them via an API or CSV directly into the Archived Enrollments section, or must I do it manually for each user (enroll them, complete them with dates, and then manually archive each one individually)?Thanks for the insights!!

I’ve seached KB articles and in Community.  We are in the process of updating a lot of HTML files within the Central Repository.  We don’t have an option for those files to “update versions” like we do with Scorm files so….what is the best practice to get a new version without retiring and basically starting all over?  Anyone? :)  Of course, I may be doing something wrong.

I notice that AWS skill builder and Docebo University both have the same responsive full page course design with table of contents on the left, and scrollable content for 80% of the interface. The content then includes flip cards, tabs, accordions, videos, images, text, and quizzes in similar styles, although the Amazon version is slightly cleaner.I am interested in replicating this look for at least some of the e-learning courses on my platform. Since these are so similar, is there a “standard” method to achieve this look and functionality? We recently started using the Task List Widget for checklists and we have run into a couple of challenges. The primary one is that when the checklist is sent to the approver the include users full name vs. username. Full name is not unique, and the approver has no way to distinguish who completed the submitted checklist. Is there CSS to change full name to username in the task list or specifically the observation checklist approvals? I did see an idea to make this configurable, which would be awesome, if you agree please vote it upTask List Widget - Show names instead of Usernames | Community (docebo.com)I’m looking for a css or some other kind of hack because I need a solution now. 

When we started with Docebo a few years ago I drove the migration from our then current proprietary system into Docebo. A different unit in the company also started with Docebo a couple of years ago, and now to save cost we are looking at rolling the one Docebo instance into the other.Hopefully the budget is there to also embrace Extended Enterprise at the same time.Has anyone else out there done this? Any suggestions? Any advice or warnings?

We are wondering if any of you would be willing to share an example/screenshot of what one of their learning paths looks like. Specifically when it comes to onboarding. We are trying to figure out if we should have a course for onboarding or not since we have an in-person onboarding.Any tips would be helpful!

Hi Brains Trust,We have users in our org who have moved to a different dept.  If I manually remove users from a branch and move them to a newly created branch will that impact anything else in the LMS?Thanks 😀

Greetings,Is there a workflow in Docebo for deactivating many user accounts? I’m working with a client who has thousands of accounts from 2022, and they want them deactivated. As part of the workflow, I also need to be able to remove any assigned training. I wasn’t sure if that happened automatically as part of the account deactivation process or if it required a separate action.

Hello, team,Context: I am our LMS admin; I am familiar with reading APIs, but I have not written. I have internal experts for the API writing, but they’re not experts in Docebo. Trying to find the info needed through (hopefully) one of you experts who is both knowledgeable in the API and Docebo.We have new reporting requirements that indicate we must know how much time our employees have spent in training. For Docebo’s sake, that time is measured in two places: time spent in an eLearning course and time spent in an ILT session.Time spent in an eLearning course is fairly easy. I know that this data is not accurate, as users can leave their instance running in the background to rack up time, but it’s the only value I have and can use. We found this endpoint: GET/learn/v1/enrollments/{id_course}/{id_user} It returns the value we need, but does anyone have any other suggestions? Time spent in an ILT seems to be nonexistent.

Hi, friends,I’ve looked for a solution here, but couldn’t identify one that would work for us. Docebo has only 2 types of courses: E-Learning, and Instructor-Led. We are trying to come up with a way to capture a course that was done as either OJT or Self-Paced...but cannot figure out the best way to do this (short of having these 2 new types added to the platform). I’m going to guess that someone out there does have a workable solution, and it you’d like to share it with me, I’d truly appreciate it!  Thanks!!

When we archive and reenroll people, they receive a notification that they’ve been unenrolled and then another indicating they’ve been enrolled. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, the emails arrive in the opposite order. So people think they’ve been enrolled and then unenrolled. This causes confusion. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions in mind?

Hello community!My company manages records for thousands of users all over the nation. We certify and credential staff similar to BLS or CPR. We currently track completion for each organization (about 150 at the moment) using a daily learning plan. However, I am running into issues with filtering through the data to make sure that we do not miss anyone in our license management platform. Currently, our workflow is to upload recent completions from our daily learning report. However, if someone went in and marked attendance today from a learning plan completed a month ago, that data would probably not get flagged and missed. Do you all have any ideas on how to effectively sort through this data or filter the learning plan reports? Our reentry system also works currently, but as we continue to grow as a program the plan will not be sustainable. If anyone has any better ideas for sorting massive amounts of data daily and then redistributing that information to multiple SmartShee

Has anyone got an easy way for managers to check the progress on how their team is getting on with a learning plan?  We have a mandatory training learning plan, and I want managers to be able to view their team and drill down to see the plan progress.  I can't find a way to do this.  (I know I can see a progress percentage but this doesn't tell me any further detail).
