We’ve been struggling with SSO implementation, and we’re 30 days into a support ticket with no light at the end of the tunnel, despite escalation and looping in account managers. Turning to the community for support…Here’s the scenario – we’ve got a custom OpenID provider for our industry, and many of the apps our stakeholders utilize have the same SSO integration. All our users start from our custom member portal where they are authenticated into our OpenID SSO provider. From here, we intend to have our Docebo users click a link to be taken into the LMS directly, without having to authenticate again. Here’s the problem – as of right now, if you go straight to our LMS login page, and click the “Login with OpenID Connect”, it works perfectly. However, the Login URL that we intend to embed in our member portal that we’ve been provided is not working. It takes users to the LMS login page and says there’s an error. Hi all,We’ve combined our LinkedIn Learning with our parent company and are in the process of creating two SSO instances - one for our group and one for the parent group. The parent group is the default SSO in LinkedIn Learning admin portal. I know the steps to integrate LinkedIn Learning into Docebo (article); however, the LinkedIn Learning tech team said that if we have a user access LinkedIn Learning from Docebo it will prompt them to login in via the default SSO (our parent company). Workaround is to make our SSO the default (not an option). Anyone else have two SSOs for LinkedIn Learning and use the Docebo<> LinkedIn Learning integration? And if so, what settings did you have to configure to make it work?Open to any and all ideas!Thanks, D’Arcy

Good morning everyone, I am hoping someone else has had to fix this issue. We have added an added field about opting in/out of email lists and only a portion is visible. Has anyone else had to expand these fields to show all of the test? Any and all help greatly appreciated! 

Forgive me if this has been asked already, but while I’ve seen several posts talking about tracking issues with Rise 360 courses, I’ve not found one that details best practices for export.Apart from knowing xAPI is a newer standard than SCORM, I’m far from an expert at the pros/cons of each format, and even less of an expert with each version. In my testing, while I’ve read Docebo can have trouble indexing xAPI for its global search, I’ve personally not found the SCORM content indexes particularly well for me either.In that way, what is the recommended format for Rise 360 courses published to Docebo? SCORM or xAPI?If SCORM, what version & edition works best/is recommended?Thanks for any insights you’re able to offer.

Using Wire Transfer payment method to mimic invoicing…When we first launched eCommerce, we found that there was no option that would allow us to BILL our customers. We had a look at the Wire Transfer method and found that with a little tweaking, we could use this to mimic the invoicing process. when a user checks out and selects the WT option, the transactions and access to the course remains in a “pending” status until the admin marks it as PAID. We use the eCommerce Transaction report to export our transactions and send them over to accounting system via ftp (this part is optional and requires an accounting system that allows this type of connection or some kind of import tool). The Tweaks:added some Additional Fields to the user profiles to capture information needed by the accounting system updated WT labels in Localization with language that better fits and invoice method created an internal pr

I am looking for some advice on using Docebo Learn for monthly reoccurring training sessions. My team used it previously but not in many years and I went through Docebo University’s course on this, really just looking for tips, things to avoid, etc. We have the legacy solution, Docebo Growth plan, which I believe is only Docebo Learn. Please correct me if I’m wrong. :) Things I am looking for:-scheduling/enroll link with limits -video conference integration (teams)-easy management, as we do not have dedicated lms admin -using it with a Cloudshare VM Is this all possible within the built-in features or do I need a third party solution?

Course A is in two learning plans X and Y we want Course A in one learning plan X only we want to add training material to course A (name it B) and put it in plan Y only we don't want the users that already completed course A in the two learning plans to retake anything. How do we do that? Possible solution??Duplicate Course A - and carry over training material.  Rename copy of Course A to make it Course B  make course A mutually equivalent to course B and vice versus  add course B to learning plan Y  (now it has both original course A and duplicate course B) remove course A from learning plan Y ( now LP Y has just B course) ??? ????All the users that completed the original course A still have completed statuses All the users that   

HiWe currenlty have the Virtual Coach feature disabled in our platform and we’re evaluating whether we should activate it next year.I’ve read the KB articles but they all seem pretty high level so before proceeding I thought I’d ask if anyone in the community has any experiences they could share in relation to using the feature? Pros & cons, tips & tricks?In theory, it sounds great but a couple of things have me a little worried:we operate a continuing professional development program for tax, accounting and legal practitioners and much of the language in our courses is ‘technical’ or has specific meaning. I don’t expect Virtual Coach will cope well with this. Is there any way we can ‘train’ it before letting it loose on all our customers? the idea of prompting users to resume a course or letting them know that some new content is avaiable sounds great but how often does it happen? Hello all,We have a need to assign to a specific Branch everybody that creates an account using the Self-Registration page.  Currently, we have the Branch Code input enabled and every single user adds the same value over and over.   Is there a way to fix the value or any other configuration to ensure that all users are part of the branch?I thought about creating groups instead but that is not currently an option due to legacy configuration/data.

Is there any way to add a “Question and Answer widget” on an ILT session. The Docebo help pages are contradictory. This page says you can add a question and answer widget on an ILT course. This page says you can’t add the widget on ILT courses. I can’t add one to an ILT course so I assume the second one is correct, has anyone found a work around?I’ve looked at the forum but the UX is awful so I don’t want to use that if possible. Has anyone tried to embed a Q&A widget using the iframe? Is it even possible?

Does anyone know why this error message and issue is occuring. I had recently updated Articulate to their newer version and this error started occuring when I had overwritten the Scorm. I have rolled back Articulate and republished the course to LMS scorm but it is still happening even when not overwriting a course but when adding as a new scorm and assigning to a new course. Thanks

Hi Everyone,Our Company has implemented Docebo for both external and internal users for LMS training. For internal users the access is provided through Okta via SSO. But for external users, the Docebo is accessed through an iframe on our customer portal hosted on Salesforce (please see below screenshot for your reference).As you might have been aware that google chrome is retiring Third Party cookies starting Q1 2024 and completely disabling it by Q3 2024. When disabling the third party cookies, the internal users were able to access Docebo as the platform is directly accessed. But the external users cannot access the Docebo as it is implemented as an iframe which leverages the Third Party cookies for functionality. We are working with Docebo support team on a resolution for this, but I just wanted to post here to see if anyone else faced the same scenario and has a potential solution for us. RegardsGuru

Is it possible to create a custom report to show all branches and associated branch codes in Docebo?  If this exists can someone detail those steps as I have not found a means to do so.

A quick question:You enroll people in a learning plan.  That LP has courses in it.You establish a course enrollment message to fire off on enrollment (not the LP message).Will the course enrollment message do its thing because of containership?As in - by enrolling in an LP you are also enrolling a person into a course(s).  

Hi everyone, We’re about 6 months into our journey with Docebo, and we are starting to onboard other Power Users in the organization who will be responsible for building department-specific content for segments of our learner population. Within our L&D team (2 people) we have subscriptions to Articulate 360 and build most of our courses using Rise. The cost is about $1400/user annually. We want to empower our other Power User content authors to own their content and build/publish it themselves (because my team isn’t built to handle every request) but we can’t afford Articulate licenses for everyone (though a couple teams have invested). Further, while we have Shape, it can sometimes pose a learning curve or barrier to creating content beyond the limitations of Shape. I’ve demo’d how Power Users should think about a course as being able to contain all different types of Training Materials, but I still feel like there’s more we could offer.

Is there a maximum amount of time for the delay of a notification trigger, when sending an email notification for a course completion?Use case: Send a reminder email 36 months after learner completed a course to remind the learner to revisit the course and re-take it.The UI doesn’t throw an error even if I put in a duration like 999999 weeks, so I am curious if anyone has tested the delay functionality and gotten reliable results for a delay of up to 2 years. 

Has anyone successfully used the external training app recently? Anyone feeling super helpful and want to test theirs?I have successfully used it in the past to test, but now that I am ready to upload all of my data I cannot get it to work. The .csv appears to be formatted correctly. I can import the file and see all of the data on screen, but as soon as I click ‘Next’ everything disappears, never to return. 

Hey Community,We are receiving complaints from some clients who are unable to export a custom report from the platform. When they click on “Export” they are stuck and there are no background jobs created… We’ve analyzed the issue and it seems that a web socket (wss-eu-central.docebo.cloud) is the main culprit. One client was able to solve the issue by creating an exception for this web socket on their HTTPS Proxy. We are currently checking with other clients if this would also solve the issue.And now my question: What change is causing this issue? Are others also impacted by this? This has only been recently observed and we are struggling to offer an explanation to the client other than this is a new web socket…🤔 

Hi! I'm looking for general assistance with HTML and CSS. My company is planning a learning center cleanup, and we'd like to be able to construct a drop down menu at the top of our site. We are trying to use the code in: Creating a Horizontal Navigation Menu for Novices | Community (docebo.com). The difficulty is that I'm not clear where the HTML and CSS information should go. I'm using an HTML widget at the top of our page, but when we save the HTML and CSS to the widget, we get this:Can somebody tell us where we need to enter

I feel like I’m missing something really obvious. I want to run a report with information about users that are enrolled in an ILT course but have not selected a session yet. Every ILT report seems to filter only on those with sessions and I don’t see any options to include those in the course but without a session. Thanks for any help you can provide.Amee

Hi Community - Just wanted to share, see if anyone has had similar experiences.We have an employee user base of 4,000 users.We have Power Users responsible for their departments and approving self enrollments.Twice now, we have had the system allow a Power User approve an enrollment for an employee not in their assigned resources (branch). The response from support is, looks like a fluke - sorry we don’t know why… Or our needs this can be highly problematic.Has anyone experienced this or something similar?
