I am supporting restricted content that is available to users who complete the approval process outside of Docebo. The workflow is Apply > Review > Approved > Welcome letter and access to the restricted contentI would like the welcome letter have the link to the LMS and have that link add them to the group. I know I can send a link to directly enroll users to a learning plan or a course, is there a way to do the same for a group?Note: the applications are manually reviewed and emails are sent out for each approval. There is no “system” in place to integrate with via API. If not, what other options do I have? Currently I am using an automated group and am listing the user’s emails for eligibility. Two challenges:I am a power user and every time I need to add someone I have to contact a super user. I have access to the group but cannot edit eligibility. Long-term, the group could grow beyond the eligibility rules (500). I can think of a manual maintenance strategy, but I don’t
We are having an issue with the way our SCORMs are showing in Docebo. We publish using Storyline 360 but when the content is loaded into Docebo the scroll bar at the bottom is not showing in the browser (Chrome Version 100.0.4896.88).When we shrink the browser’s “Zoom” setting to 90% it works perfectly but unfortunately it’s not ideal for our clients. Does anyone have any suggestions, should something be changed in Docebo or more on the Storyline 360’s side? 100% window size 90% window size
Good morning Docebo Community.I would like to set up a course that asks users a question - using a text entry, completely free-form - within a SCORMed course (made using Storyline). The SMEs are hoping that we can save/file the responses and email them back at a later date (a sort of ‘see how much you learned’ type of idea). The first part of this is easy, but my issue is that once i have the responses in the LMS, how do I know who answered what? I look in Reports, then ‘Training Material Statistics’ & click on the module in question, then click ‘Answers Breakdown’ to drill down & find the responses. But it’s all anonymous. Is there another way to do this so I can see what user wrote what response? One thought I have is whether I can piece things together if there are multiple text entries within the module - i.e., including a separate field for the user’s name & one for their email address. Maybe the Answers Breakdown are ordered by user. I could test this myself easily eno
Hi just as of recent, it feels like Go1 has fundamentally changed the way they are deploying content. An overview tab that has their description is now deployed to all Go1 content in my instance. Any thoughts on how we make it go away? Where did you come from????
Does anyone know how the “Courses to Finish” list is sorted, AND if there is a way to change the sort options? I’d love to have the list sorted by DUE DATE, in descending order, so what they have to finish is listed first. But I’m guessing it’s by enrollment date.Thank you,Jennifer
Hi Docebo Community! I’m trying to import external training data with a CSV file into the external training app and when I click through the steps, nothing happens. I see all the info in the correct format, confirmed date is mm/dd/yy but it does nothing. I can add information manually, but not via CSV. Does this no longer work or am I doing something wrong?
We use coach and share and have experts assigned to various channels but the topics of the channels are pretty broad and thus a random selection of ‘suggested experts’ will make the learner believe that there are a curated list of experts base on the topic of the file they are sharing. Is there a way to remove this section of ‘suggested experts’ or at least influence the list of suggested experts more? Is it just completely random who is selected or is it based on who’s been active more recently or has not been active in a while?
We have many blended courses in which learners attend an ILT virtual event and then are assigned tasks/study to complete offline in preparation for the next day’s event. We want to add the Q&A widget to these ILT courses so that instructors and learners alike can easily share their questions and learn from each other while completing their self-paced materials outside of the webinars. But the Q&A widget is not an option in an ILT course. Is on the roadmap? Are there any similar workarounds/features?
Hi GuysCan you tell me how and where can I see other peoples idea and their status? My predecessor had more than 50 idea suggested and I have no idea how to see and l look for them...they also had an id number for example: LMS-I-1082 or DL-I-577 I cant find anywhere…Thanks
Hi all,Data refresh hasn’t been working so I opened a ticket. In reply they just sent a KB article that lead to a new question. Remember that you can refresh on demand the data of your reports up to a limited number of times per day and a limited number of times a month (n times in January, n times in February, etc.). Anyone know how many refreshes we get a month or how to find out?
We are currently developping a gamification concept. One pillar will be assigning badges for completing courses and learning plans. (For ILT courses, this is not possible, so I created the idea 3138: Badges for ILT courses; feel free to vote for it!)I found some pretty helpful conversations about gamification and especially badges in this community, but maybe you can share your ideas with me for some specific scenarios. Our idea is to create badges for specific numbers of courses (or learning plans). Well, there was a good advice by Adam Ballhausen in “Ideas for launching Gamification” to reward new learners quickly. This said, we’d like to create badges for the 1st course, the 5th, the 10th, the 20th and so on. This leads me to 3 questions:Does the above scale sound reasonable? How many points should be assigned to badges staggered in such a way (I suppose that the number of points should not be directly related to the number of completed courses)? Since the number of badges to be cr
We provide client training, and our clients often have one administrator that is granted a power user. This users has visibility to their client branch and their users to follow up. I have also given them visibility to all premium catalog, so they can see an overview of all courses, how many have enrolled, progress and ability to enroll their users into courses they see fit. However I am struggling with the power users permissions. Issue: if I set priveliges to all courses within visible catalogesThey also see courses that is visible, but behind a payment plan and only administrator can enroll users into. However, the power users can easily enroll users intro these courses as they are visible to all in the system. A bit of a marketing thingy. They also see courses that are under maintenance. Because they are not fully developed, or deprecated. This is also very unwanted behaviour. The only way I can get where I want, is if I manually select each and every course they should have acc
Hi All!New-ish to Docebo, and this might be a very basic question. However, we are getting feedback from employees with frustration in navigating in their learning plans. Is it possible to set-up a learning plan so a user is automatically gets moved to the next course instead of having to get there by navigating via breadcrumbs?Below is the workflow are advising people to use now to get to the next course, but people seem to be having a hard time with that. Any suggestions/tips would be recommended!
I will be going back and redefining my PowerUser profiles, and I’m trying to identify how many I need and I’m confused with the cross over of Branches and Profiles when it comes to Notifications. When creating a new notification, I identify the specific Branch that notification applies to (our notifications are branded and specific):The next step is to identify the ROLE.DO I NEED TO CREATE A SPECIFIC POWERUSER PROFILE ASSIGNED TO THE BRANCH? Or will it only get sent to the PowerUser in the branch I identified in the step above?I am assuming (I HATE TO ASSUME) that if I have a Profile called COURSE AUTHOR, and identify the Power User with that Profile, it will only send it to the PowerUser in the Branch identified above, and NOT to ALL COURSE AUTHORS.Please confirm that this is like a Venn Diagram, it sends it to where all of these specification overlap. Hello, all!TL;DR - how do you organize your “My Courses” area of your user experience? Our “My Courses” area of our homepage does not really meet the needs of our different users. Some of our users have 3 courses and some of our users have 150. Some of that is because our users have been here for 3 years, others just access that. many. courses. One thing I was hoping to do was better utilize the widgets, but I’m finding that they don’t meet the need. Here’s the widget I’ve tried using:Courses and Learning Paths Widget The primary problem is with its filtering options, seen below. You can only set one “Item Status” per widget, and so if you want to show a user their Not Started and In Progress courses, you have to make two separate widgets on your home page. Suddenly, you’re losing a lot of visual real estate to more apps. Is there a better way to manage this for users? Am I missing something on auto-hiding courses upon completion that would help here? Thanks!
I opened a support ticket but wondering if others are seeing this issue. The enroll users tab is disappearing from our power users. I have 1 user I screenshot with the tab at 4:30 pm yesterday. At 9am today it was gone. Noticed it missing from 1 person a few days ago. now no power users have enrollments
Currently, managers can enroll users into an ILT, but they cannot enroll the user into a specific session for that ILT. This is problematic for us because our new hires’ first ILT is on their first day of employment. They have no way of logging into the platform to enroll themselves into the ILT session for their first day of training. Has anyone experienced this and have a workaround?
Hello! We are utilizing the retraining piece for compliance items that need to be taken every x amount of years/months/etc. We have notifications set up to go to learners when they are coming due on a retraining, however not all our learners have email or use a computer unless someone tells them they need to complete something. Is there a way to have retraining's more visible to learners besides going out to the My Activities page? Can they be brought back over to the Not Started area of the task list? Is there a way for a notification to go to the leader of the learner? Thank you!
Hi all,Would anyone know the recommended pixel sizes of Shape images? Also, this would be the same question for videos uploaded onto Shape. Vertical/Horizontal axis ratios would be good as well. Additionally, would anyone know the maximum file sizes we can upload?
Hi all,I’d like to pick your brains over sensitive data exposure & Docebo course access. We have two groups of people accessing our LMS, one are internal, the others contractors. There are courses that we do not want contractors to view. Thus I have set up catalogs so that they can only search or browse to those courses that we allow access to. We do not use the public catalog at all.The problem is, if someone (be it internal team leader or power user) enrols them on a course, they can see it, even if it isn’t in the catalogs they can access. How can we restrict content?Wihlst at the moment this isn’t major, as contractors are covered explicitly by contracts, this question will become critical when we open the platform to a further third group of partners who are not covered by contracts.
True separation of user accounts between primary enterprise domain and extended enterprise sub-domains
We have noticed the following bug/issue:User learning experiences/results are not kept separate between primary domain and sub-domain, instead they are delivered to the first login method.Environment:Primary Enterprise Domain Extended Enterprise sub-Domain One person Two unique usernames, two unique email addresses, two unique login processes.Context:When a learner who is internal to the company and thus has a user account within the primary enterprise domain, also has a user account with a different email address and different username. If they have either recently logged into the primary enterprise account in their internet browser of choice, but the log into the extended enterprise sub-domain with their unique username, Docebo Learn will apply their learning experience when logged into the extended enterprise sub-domain user account to their primary domain enterprise user account. The Ask:Docebo should look into this bug/issue developmentally, for underlying causes in coding in how
