Howdy! We are running a leadership program using a blend of vILT and eLearning courses. We know how to set up the LPs for ordering the courses already. The question we have is: How can we make documents/pre-work (like reading an article) available before the vILT courses. Is there an option to add it as either training material or in the file repository and have it accessible  once the user is enrolled vs. just only during/post session?  

Wasn’t it communicated in a recent update that course links would now be fixed?  No longer pre or post enrollment links, but just one link for course access across the board?  I just reached out to chat to ask the easiest way to get that link, and I was told this is not the case.  I know this was announced on a product update webinar months ago, but I cannot find which release that was.  Can someone please help me out and let me know I’m not crazy on this? 

I am just wondering if Docebo is looking at having an off the shelf API integration with Microsoft Viva Learning? 

We have a single user who is not able to proceed in any of his assigned xAPI content. We make our courses in Storyline 360 and export them as xAPI. The slides within the courses are restricted (so they cannot jump ahead). When the user opens the content, the first slide is locked, and the content on that first slide does not load (see screenshot below). I logged in as the user, and it’s happening for me as well. I logged in as several other users, and none of them have the issue.Is there some sort of corruption on this user’s account? I’ve tried multiple things: re-uploading the xAPI content, creating a new version of the content, clearing the user’s course completion, clearing the user’s training content completion, and clearing the cache on several browsers. Nothing has fixed it, and I’m out of ideas.   

I'm trying to find out how a learner was assigned courses.  Is there a way to see who enrolled a user in a course? Thanks! 

Hello, please could anyone help? I have problems uploading events. Error message is ""day"". I already tried all possible formats. Downloading the template gives the following format "01/01/2021" However, it will not accept it when uploading it.Thanks so much in advance if you could share if and how you had overcome the same issue!Caro

Having issues with the description being collapsed automatically since the banner update came in over the summer. As shown below, Most of the description is collapsed (we’ve added the “click…description” text in order to draw people there but there must be a way to make it display fully as. defaultDoes anyone know if there’s a solution within the page design options? Or if someone’s found a string of code that does the same. 

Hey all,I have a course shell that contains HTML instructions followed by a folder that has two SCORMs in it. Learners have the option of choosing which SCORM to complete and both are set as end object markers, so either will mark the course complete. Learners must view the instructions, then select which SCORM to take. See image below for reference. Our issue is that the Next button appears under the course title / above the training materials. When the learner clicks next after reading the instructions, it opens the first course in the folder. We don’t want this - we want learners to pick which course to take.Is there a way to disable the “Previous” and “Next” buttons?  The only idea for a workaround I’ve had is to add another HTML slide of instructions as the first item in the folder that tells learners to select their preferred course title instead of clicking next, but I’d rather figure out a way to get rid of the Next button.

Hello, when adding shortcodes to our notifications, the shortcode will always populate with the information it has or it will populate with the actual shortcode.  we want it to be a blank space if the shortcode can NOT pull the data. for example: Session Details:Location: [session_location]Classroom: [session_classroom] For an in person training:Session Details:Location: Building 1Classroom: Room 204 For Virtual Training:Session Details:Location: VirtualClassroom:  for the virtual session, it only keeps the shortcode rather than not showing anything and just being a blank field. thoughts?

Hello,My question today is about choosing a branch name from the dropdown menu during registration. We have free, self-registration set for our learners. When a new learner registers, they are prompted to choose the appropriate branch from the dropdown. However, it seems that choosing a branch is not required.We have our additional fields set up so that certain information is asked of certain branches. The issue we’re having is that if a learner doesn’t choose a branch, they are dropped into the base branch. Then they are prompted for information that doesn’t pertain to them, and this is causing confusion. Once we manually move learners to the correct branch, the issue resolves itself.Question: How can we make it mandatory to choose a field from the dropdown so that learners get put into the correct branch upon registration? Would it make sense to add the default top lines to say, choose a branch? Do you have any other advice?Thanks for your wisdom!

We don’t use a waitlist, and won’t, but is there any other way for our learners to see all of the upcoming sessions even if they are full? Some of our classes only run once every 2-3 months, and we constantly get asked why we haven’t scheduled a class when we have, it’s just full and they can’t see it any longer. Sure, the questions will change to “when will you schedule the next one,” but at least they know we ARE scheduling the class. 😁

Hello, there!We’ve recently discovered that our platform has been auto-generating tags for all of our training materials, and this has caused us to now have 4500+ tags that are highly inappropriate or invalid, causing our search functions to be abhorrent at best, absolutely useless at worst. I’ve seen some conversations about using Postman to remove them en-mass, as I do have the ID for the ones I need to delete, but short of entering 1 in at a time to remove each one individually I’m struggling to figure out how to remove multiple at once. Has anyone discovered the best way to do so? 

Has anyone else noticed that when you use a notification (one you’ve already created) that after you save your CODE disappears? 

Hello I’m currently trying to change the colors of different events on the Calendar using CSS and I’m so close but missing something. My idea was using position selectors to manually color code each event.  Currently my code is:.docebo-calendar .pos-1 {    background-color: red !important; }This changes the first event of each day to red. If there was a way i could isolate it to a certain day. For example April 20th, pos-1 then i would be able to color code the entire calendar. Whenever I try to specify with row and column indicators it doesn’t change anything. It either lets me change all of row 1 or all of column 1, but not column 1, row 1 together. If there are any CSS experts out there, help would be much appreciated! 

HiIt seems some of our users have been using the Go.Learn app to access our platform. They have highlighted a few UX issues which I have fixed. I cannot find much details on the Go.Learn app so could anyone explain what the advantage of using the Go.Learn app over just using your browser on your mobile devices?I’ve been doing some testing and it seems that some catalogs appear and others do not? Also, some seem to appear but then disappear the next time I log in.Does anyone have good experience with the Go.Learn app who can shed some light on the advantages of using it and why the catalogs may be appearing intermittently or not at all. I’ve added some images of the catalogs showing vs not showing.Thanks

We have built a course in Articulate Storyline with five quizzes. The number of quizzes taken by the learner depends on which pathway they take through the course - i.e. they are not mandatory. Hi,I am setting up Additional Fields, and am trying to make some of the fields invisible to certain branches and visible/mandatory to others. How do I do that? I added the configuration details in the response below. Thanks for your insights!

Interested to know how people deal with courses and learning plans that are no longer needing to be active?For example a course that is no longer running, or a learning plan that is no longer needed (or superseded by another).You can delete a course, but then all the associated completion records are deleted too, and they are still required for reporting purposes.  Plus it might be handy for learners to still see the course completion information in their My Courses page.  We considered putting it back from Published to Under Maintenance, but that seems a bit messy.  On a previous LMS we were able to ‘retire’ courses so they were no longer visible to any learners, but still on the system for reporting purposes.Do others simply take the courses out of any visible catalogs?Any thoughts on this gratefully received :-)Sean

Hi folks & happy Friday.Someone brought to my attention that on the Course Player (we use the new one), when they’re viewing a course or Learning Plan for which they’re not enrolled, they see the label ‘Instructor’ above the Enroll button (see below). It doesn’t really make sense, & I’d imagine will lead to some confusion. We’d like to change it but  it’s difficult to tell on the Localization Tool where this label comes from because the lone word ‘Instructor’ shows up several times. As a side-note, we’re currently having issues with editing on this page, but that’s a separate issue which has earned itself a ticket for the Help Desk.Has anyone else seen this? If so, could anyone tell me exactly where in Localization Tool I would go to fix it?Thanks!

Hello, I’m attempting to use a free code found in the Docebo University to make my sign in place semi-transparent:login-wrapper {background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.85) !important;} .bg-white-opacity, .login-container .login-content {background: transparent !important;}  I’m adding this code to the platform's configure branding, look, and feel section under the 7.0 sample interface.  It’s not reflecting when attempting to sign-in. I had a slider working thanks to @gtstager HTML/CSS code provided. And then I borked it…  My CSS is now showing up as text :(  Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong… Google was not helpful and I only know enough CSS HTML to be dangerous.  This is showing instead of my image on one of my carousels and the other one at least displays an image.  I answered my own question…  The CSS Goes in the configure branding and look…. The HTML goes in the widget…. If you put the CSS in the Widget it will show in the widget…  I want to put in a second slider… . Do I need to give it another name?  

Dear fellow Docebo admins,I was requested to prepare an assessment quiz: based on quiz result, a user should be enrolled into a course or into another one.I found that group can be populated based on the enrollment status, but the status is not sufficient. Having people in groups allow the use of the enrollment automation, but I don’t know how to populate groups based on test result.Thanks in advance for your help.RegardsStefano
