How can I send my user a Schedule of upcoming events?  Or simply PRINT out their My Schedule/My Calendar? Has anyone found a solution for a printable schedule of upcoming events?  I’d prefer to send notifications out monthly of what they have coming up.  But I can’t seem to figure out how to get the information in an email or a report.  Directing them to view their My Schedule/Calendar is still unwieldy.  The only options I see are export to Calendar (which creates a whole new internet calendar connection, not a legible schedule of events). They can’t print it out and hang it on the fridge!  And, yes, that is exactly what our users want to do.  

Hey all, we’re working on a close to real time integration with our HRIS and hit a snag when using the API to create users. It appears the API requires us to set passwords when creating users although we have no desire or need to do so since everyone logs in via SSO. Docebo support confirmed that is working as intended and there is no flag or other mechanism to disable it as a required field. Has anyone else encountered this and if so how did you deal with it? I’m not keen on applying passwords to satisfy the API requirement but I suppose random complex strings could be our only option. 

Hi there, I have a learning plan in place. This plan contains two courses and has a rule in place. You have to complete the first course before you are allowed to access the second course. For learners this makes sense, but for the teacher it doesn't. Is there a way for the teacher to access the second course without being forced to complete the first?   

Has anyone found an API call to log in as a user or impersonate a user? I know this can be done through the user management area, but I’m wondering if there is a means to do it via the API explorer.I’m not seeing anything in my searching, but perhaps I’m looking in the wrong spot.

As a company we are reporting on training data from 2022. For example, I created a custom report (courses - users) for all of our onboarding learning plan and courses. But I am not able to tell what data is from 2022 only. Does anyone have a recommendation on custom reports or best practice to capture data like this? Thanks!

I have found that many admins have trouble with this...Many times, you want to point a user to a specific course but you don’t always want to turn on the Enrollment Links as this can bypass eCommerce and approvals. The typical error an admin makes is to navigate to a course that they are enrolled into or have used the Learner Preview option (enrolls you) and grab that link from the address bar...This causes issues if shared since it tried to find the course on the users’ My Courses & Learning Plans page and usually puts up a 403 error. In order to get around this, navigate to the course via the CATALOGUE search. Click on the tile to view the course but DO NOT enroll. You can safely grab that link to use in other pages, widgets, etc.. The look should look something like this:https://www.xxxxxxxxxx

Hi there, Does anyone know of a way to hide Learning Plan descriptions for learners? When they open a learning plan, I would like to only display the courses inside the learning plan (with no learning plan description on top). Thank you

Hi EveryoneI am new to Docebo having just been released into the wild by our consultant last week!!We have two Learning Plans each containing three ILT courses. Learning Plan-1 must be completed before Learning Plan-2 is started.Once the last course is completed in Learning Plan-1, the Learner is not required to start the first course in Learning Plan-2 for a further 12 months (are you still with me?).Is there a way of creating a delay between Learning Plan-1 being completed and Learning Plan-2 being started?  We’re trying to avoid having to set up reminders to enroll people nearer the time.Many thanks 

Hi all! Wanted to get your thoughts on how you’re managing course progress % completion in reporting.  We recently added a CSAT survey to the end of all of our courses, which moved our total course objects/training materials to 2 per course. So each course now has a scorm file and a survey.  The issue we’re bumping into is that learners who’ve already completed the course prior to the survey being added to the course are now showing as 50% complete (1/2 objects complete). They completed the scorm but did not complete the optional survey.  In our reports, we now have a lot of users showing as completed for their user status but 50% on course progress. Do you have any recommendations on how we can show 100% complete for new learners who will go through the course and retroactively fixing this for those who’ve already completed? The survey is optional. 

We noticed that we have Learning Plans (LP) showing up under specific categories within the catalog that they are assigned.  Through the LP creation process, there’s no criteria that allows you to associate a category to the LP, yet somehow the LP shows up under categories vs just in the catalog. What determines which category the LP populates under?

I need to be able to run a report for Managers that shows them who is past due on their training.  Right now I am using the Users - Courses report and that is great except it causes panic when people don’t read it correctly.  It shows all assigned training and then lists “days left”.  No matter how many times I tell people to only focus on the people with negative numbers in that column, they still are not understanding.  Is there a better way for me to run a report that will show my managers and directors their teams delinquent training?

Hi, I’m looking for help with CSS.I would like to put a link to our main catalog on the right side of the breadcrumb bar. Simply the word catalog and when you click the word it takes you to the catalog page.Anyone know the CSS to make this happen?

This is my first time trying to use the HTML Widget. Thank you for any help you can provide. I am trying to add an image that has 3 clickable areas. I have the Image map code and the image. I have tried to insert the code into the HTML field and upload the Image in the WYSIWYG field of the widget. This produces the image as expected, but no links.@Bfarkas Could you possible help me figure out what am I doing wrong?

Hi!We have different Categories for our Safety Courses and our Compliance Courses.I have a site Safety manager that should have access to mark completions on Safety Only Courses. However, he wants to be able to SEE our compliance courses to track completion - not edit enrollment. We can’t give him access to mark compliance courses done, but he needs to be able to mark safety courses done. How should I set up his permission?If he doesn’t have assigned resources of the category of “compliance” he cannot pull a report himself since he can’t view those courses- right? How can he track this set of courses? 

We have found what we think is a new behavior.  Here is the scenario:Student is marked complete in a course where completion is determined by attendance.  Student takes a paper test, so we upload the scores days later.  When uploading the score (LO completion record), in spite of a correct completion date in the upload file, the student’s transcript reflects the date of course completion as today’s date.Drilling down further, the actual attempt (first attempt, last attempt) shows the correct date, but the completion date is wrong.The API endpoint we’re using is "/learn/v1/lo/tracks/batch".My question:  Is there a new option in the API that would simply update the score correctly without changing the course completion date?  Is this a bug?

Hi there,Can someone give me their shortcut for finding out what modules has made up a Learning Plan? I need to find the codes to double-check the coursesHere’s what I’m currently doing:I click into the LP, then the prerequisites link:Which gives me the module codes…It works for 90% of the time and backfires when I only have 1 x course, I can’t see the module/course code that belongs to it.There must be an alternative way to get the information codes that make up a Learning Plan, no? What have I forgotten in my Docebo platform onboarding from last year?

Hello hivemind,I’m looking for your tips, tricks and experiences.We want to release some modules that belong to the same course over several weeks. We don’t want to create each module as a course and put them into a Learning Plan unless we can’t find another solution as it really is a course not a collection of courses. In other LMS systems I’ve worked with it is possible to add course material to a course but keep it locked until a certain date. This is visible to the student and they can see that there is a new module and what the date it will be shared is. It also keeps them from being able to complete the course. I don’t see this option in Docebo. You can hide it and you can set a date range that it will be available but if it’s not available yet it won’t be viewable to the end user and more importantly it won’t block course completion. Is there anyway we can control course completion so that people who complete the first module don’t complete

Hello,Hoping someone can illuminate me.I have usernames that begin with one or more zero(s) for one of my EE tenants. When normal reports export as .csv, these leading zeros may be removed. If we manually export the data we can use .xls and that keeps the zero(s). If I format the username column as Text, this helps keep the leading zero(s).The issue is when I go to upload these spreadsheets back into the LMS. When I convert the .xls to .csv, the zeros are removed, even if the column is formatted as text.I was looking at the Automation App, and I think I’ll run into the same issue of needing a .csv file.Any help is much appreciated!!

I have a session/event scheduled for a future date. A user enrolls in that session. Why does that user have the option to “Start Learning now”? When I look at the course to see who has enrolled, I see several people that are in the status of “In Progress”. How can it be in progress if the ILT session is in the future?Is there some setting I am missing?

How are people dealing with applying US sales tax? I know that Stripe is a payment processor option - and that Stripe had a now deprecated integration with Avalara and other tax apps. Does the current Docebo-Stripe integration support sales tax calculation? If not, other ideas? Thanks, Doug

Hello,Via Docebo, we are offering courses that have been accredited. Once a learner completes the necessary coursework, I need to be able to submit a report to the accrediting body in order to grant the learner their earned credits. Each accredited course has a unique identifier (the UAN ID) which must appear in the report in order for the accrediting body to know which course the learner consumed. I don’t know where to store the UAN ID in a way that I can then later pull into a report. Currently I’m thinking the Code field might be the best option. Has anyone found a way to solve for this requirement? Thanks much! 

We utilize the Coach and Share section of Docebo to upload recorded webinars. Does anyone know if there is a capability through that medium to add closed captioning? I know that we can do it with a course, but I am not seeing an option to add a vtt file for the coach and share videos we upload. If not, does anyone know how we can embed the closed captioning into the video itself so we can upload the video (with the closed captioning embedded it in) to the Coach and Share section as just one file?

This is an observation that I’ve encountered multiple times with an option in Docebo. Whenever I change a Session Completion option from Attendance Based to Evaluation Based. Click on the “Save Changes” button and get a “Your changes have been saved successfully” message. Refresh my page and the options are saved. Come back the next few days and the option changes from Evaluation Based back to attendance based. Has anyone had any luck with figuring out the cause or maybe a workaround to get this to stay on my courses?
