Hello, our use case scenario is: Multiple departments get different onsite training. When I say multiple departments I mean between 10 - 15 departments and growing. We need to record each day’s attendance. I can create either one course or a course for each department. If I create a session and event, there will be an event for as many days in the year for each of the departments. That’s a huge amount of events. As of now only attendance will be taken, in the near future content and exams will be added. I know I can create one session and add multiple events for that session. Each session may last several weeks with a possibility of 21 events. Sessions are recurring. If anyone has a work around or any ideas on the best practice for this or the most efficient way to maintain something like this I really appreciate it. Thank you so much! 

We’re launching at the end of April and are trying to get our notifications in order. We have a learning plan with 10 courses. Users must take the courses in order. I was hoping that by setting up course notifications it would trigger the notification flow once the user started each course but it doesn’t seem to work that way.  I’m wondering what are some best practices folks have done with notifications for learning plans?How do you set it up if there is no end date for completion? How often do you think we should send messages to users? I’m looking forward to seeing how you others have leveraged notifications to encourage learners to completion.  

I had a request from one of our departments to provide some usage info as part of a certification application.In particular, it’s the “percentage of total workforce across all company locations who received training to strengthen employee’ knowledge and skills specific to their work or their career advancement.”Any thoughts, tips, or idea on how I might be able to pull this data?

I created a SCORM file in Adobe Captivate 2019 and have an exit button on the last page. The course is set for infinite attempts. Course is set to complete when 100% of slides are visited. If I exit (by clicking exit button) and I attempt to re-open the course in Docebo, I open the last page where the exit button is (I assume this is the bookmark being passed from SCORM file to Docebo).I had expected that I would be able to retake the course, but can’t seem to get to the start page. What am I missing?New to Docebo and Captivate :-)

Hi everyone!I am just looking for some advice around the training video supplier of iHasco and SCORM completions.  I am using their SCORM files and when we complete training, it completes within the SCORM but still shows “in progress” in Docebo.  Can anyone help with this as I’m manually completing for people and surely this should auto update once the training has been completed.  Has anyone else had this problem and know a solution?ThanksPaul Foxton

Hi all.I’m planning some gamification for a project one of my colleagues is planning & it includes one Learning Plan w/ 12 courses. It’s easy enough to add badges for the courses & the LP, but I’d like to be able to add additional rewards centered around things like ‘first person to complete the first course’ or ‘first person to complete 5 courses’, & so on. I don’t see it anywhere in the Badges or Contests section, but it really feels like it should be a thing. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks,Nate

Hello,Anyone have a way to stop these tip boxes from showing up? Every time I log in as another user, then switch back to my account, these tip boxes show up again. Its like playing a game of whack-a-mole. And, using MS Edge, the ones at the top of the screen do not show up correctly. I cannot close them.Thanks

I’ve got a Power User with a certificate attached to a Learning Plan, but the fields on it are all designed for a course, so they are not filling in properly.ideally I would simply copy this cert & tweak it for an LP, but Docebo won’t let me do this, so instead I’ll have to just create a new one.The problem is I want to keep the template. There doesn’t seem to be a way of downloading the blank template, but i’m hoping that i’m overlooking something here. Does anyone know if there’s a way to download the blank template from a Certificate?Thanks,Nate

Hello! Still feeling new to Docebo so apologies if this question is repetitive - I couldn’t find a discussion specific to my question.How do I add external links for product based tutorials? For example - a list of links on how to use Slack. We find that some of our folks are new to certain tools and to help them get started I want to curate product tutorials which people can review. These will be optional learning. In previous LMS this was referred to as a “learning path” which is essentially what I’m trying to create with external resources (i.e. links vs. downloading and adding videos or creating a specific course). Is this possible? or any workarounds? 

Hello Community. I saw someone had a similar issue 5, 6 months ago but I am hoping by now the system has improved.I have professional license for hundreds of people that expires on different dates. It expires every two years. The person can renew the license 90 day prior to the expiration of the license. I am traying to create a process for sending the person reminders starting 90 days prior to the expiration of their license until the person renews it. Once they renew it, I need the system to set their new license date (always the same date) and start the countdown again. I need that renewal NOT to be available until 90 days prior to the expiration of the license. If I configure the system to do it through Recertification/retraining/licensing the system start counting the two years from the day the license is renewed and not from the actual date. I was going to put them in a course as mp4s after attaching stock video… somehow… via batch.I’m down for another solution. There are 100 of these so a batch solution would be key. Ideally different video for each clip - it could be one long 5 hour video, with a 5-15 min snippet for each audio.

Our Docebo ecommerce asks for a VAT number. As we only deal within the States this just leaves our customers confused. How do we get rid of the VAT field?

Hello, I am trying to setup zoom integration in the best way possible. Currently we have about 30 power users who need power user permissions, and currently when power users attend an ILT course with zoom even if they are enrolled as a learner, they get signed into Zoom account as the host. This causes a bunch of confusion and I’m trying to find a way around this. Does anyone have any tips or tricks? My other question is if we have 3 different zoom accounts sync’d up, which will the power user get signed into? Appreciate any feedback and your experience with this. Thank you ! 

We share our Docebo instance with other units of our company and use an extended enterprise. We’re the only unit that offers training to users outside the organization. We want to empower our customers to self-register but we want to ensure they are our actual customers and we intended to use Branch Codes. However, I can’t find a way to turn that on for just our domain. Is there a way to do this? Or is there another way we can vet our users that would not disrupt the other members of our enterprise?

I found ways to automate based on course completion, but we have a situation where completing a course grants a certification that expires. As long as the certification is active we want learners to be in a group that has specific catalog access. when the certification expires, their access should also expire, but they would still have course completion.  Is there a way to create an automatic group enrollment rule based on a certification being active?  

Hi everyone,We are very new to Docebo so hopefully this isn’t too basic of a question… Our ILT courses have limited number of seats available. Some of our customers will purchase x-number of seats without knowing who exactly they will send to the course (sometimes only known 1-2 days in advance). We would like to keep track of the number of available seats in Docebo. So, my question is: Is there a way to “block” seats, or “reserve” seats for a customer so that we can keep track of available seats but later be able to assign those seats to specific named users?Thanks,Tim

I am currently going through a backlog of our training, I have over 6,000 enrollments I am entering into my system that will then need to be marked as completed, and I have not found a way to mass change enrolled users statuses. Is there an easier way to do this than going one by one?
