Screencast Tutorial

Looking for a pre-made tutorial on using the screen recorder built into Docebo, so users can learn to record themselves and submit those recordings as assignments. Does anyone know if there’s one out there to use freely? Either a simple video or a SCORM course is fine.

Pseudo classes and elements on CSS (FAQ accordion)

Hello!Has anybody had a chance to do a workaround with CSS an replicate an event listener on JS in an accordion-type animation? offline, it works like a charm on CSS by using pseudo-class and elements. We added a nice SVG triangle with a rotate animation, hid the “answer” content and then make it collapsible.But… when I added the CSS on the branding box, the look is working, but not the behaviour or the SVG:Has anybody worked something similar before? It seems that CSS and HTML don’t talk if the HTML is losing the CSS file reference once the code is added in Docebo (copy-paste). Input will be greatly appreciated! Txs!

Remove the bottom margin of a specific widget ID

Hi all,I’m still getting to grips with CSS and have become stuck in a job I need to get done. Basically we have an image widget above a channel widget, but it has a margin underneath that I would like to remove so the image is closer to the channel.I have found the widget ID, but am stumped as to what I need to put to change the margin size.Can anyone help please?Thanks in advanceNeil

Help with setting up a Power User Profile

Hi all,I need to set up a Power User Profile that will grant Power Users the ability to enroll learners from a particular branch into courses from a particular category. I’ve assigned the power users individually to the branch and to the courses. However, I’m not sure which permissions I need to set in the profile to allow them to enroll users into the courses. Please could you let me know which permissions I need to set?

Is it possible to create separate link/button to open the user menu?

Our home page has a header with links to key pages on our platform (e.g., My Courses, Course Catalogs, All Channels, Live Sessions).We’re not certain that our employees are using the default user menu (hamburger icon), so we want to incorporate a link/button on the header that opens the menu. Does anyone know if this is possible? I tried copying some of the code from the chrome inspector into an html widget without much luck.

Building a document repository without DCS

Hi,Curious about those that have leveraged their instance to create a light document repository without DCS. For example, I have put 5 video widgets on a page...and I guess it could be thought of as a very simple very rudimentary repository for video.I would imagine that you can support people looking at learning materials via the search, but you would be driving people to Courses in one form or another to look at documents that support your learning.Or? Am I wrong? Do you make links to documents that live elsewhere (which seems barbaric)?

Hi allQuick question - now that we can remove deactivated users from a group using the tick box in the groups settings, is there a way to apply this setting to all groups without having to go into each one and tick it, save and re-process each group?Please tell me there is an easier way?!?

Using the API Explorer -- GET Courses API with the extra filters

Can anyone offer a suggestion on what the body should like when you are using the API Explorer to call GET/course/v1/coursesand you want to use the extra_filters to filter and only return a specific “code”?The sample shows this, but I can’t figure out how to format what goes in the box. Additional optional filters to be applied over the returned result. Can I turn off automatic question numbering in Surveys?

overdue mandatory courses - how to set

Hi, I might be missing something here. I have a set of mandatory courses that I have bundled together in a learning plan. Some of these courses require a refresh so i have created a certification which prompts them to renew every x years. this all works fine.However, when a manager looks at their team, it only shows when someone is overdue when someone has completed a course and then their certificate has expired. How can we ensure managers see when someone hasnt completed a mandatory course at all. Can some explain to me if its possible to specify that when we enrol someone on a learning plan that its overdue instantly so managers can see what courses their staff have to complete (or some other alternative method).2nd Question - is there any way of displaying a session start date for someone when a manager is looking at their staff member profile? the only way i can find it is in the unwieldy manager report (which by the way is in column 37 in the excel report!!!)

True separation of user accounts between primary enterprise domain and extended enterprise sub-domains

We have noticed the following bug/issue:User learning experiences/results are not kept separate between primary domain and sub-domain, instead they are delivered to the first login method.Environment:Primary Enterprise Domain Extended Enterprise sub-Domain One person Two unique usernames, two unique email addresses, two unique login processes.Context:When a learner who is internal to the company and thus has a user account within the primary enterprise domain, also has a user account with a different email address and different username. If they have either recently logged into the primary enterprise account in their internet browser of choice, but the log into the extended enterprise sub-domain with their unique username, Docebo Learn will apply their learning experience when logged into the extended enterprise sub-domain user account to their primary domain enterprise user account.The Ask:Docebo should look into this bug/issue developmentally, for underlying causes in coding in how

Anyway to update 1 widget on one page and have changes go live on other pages using the same widget?

Hey everyone. I’ll explain our use case here. We have an HTML/WYSIWYG widget that I embed banners images and link them to a specific course or catalog. This widget is used on multiple pages so when the link changes, I’m needing to go into multiple pages to update the links.Currently I have the images sourced from a hosting site (Microsoft Azure) and they’re named “Docebo_Banner_1” and “Docebo_Banner_2” so when I swap out the image on the hosting site, the images are just replaced in the widget. We have a rule set for when Edge closes, it clears the cached images so they’re refreshed whenever Edge is opened again. I still have to go into each widget on each page to update the link.Is there any way to embed or iframe that widget into the other pages so I could update the link once and it goes live to all the other pages where it’s embedded? Like a global widget that’s live on all pages or something. We use these banners at the top of the page to get attention on specific courses or catal

What's your experience with LinkedIn Learning? (and similar platforms)

Hello,Currently, we’re considering integrating LinkedIn Learning into Docebo to get some content from them. I would be very much interested in getting to know your experience with LinkedIn Learning (or similar course providers).Do your users like it? Is it easy to implement and manage? After implementing it on Docebo, is it possible to put it inside of a Learning Plan After implementing, is it possible to add a survey / test or any other additional training materials at the end? Is the pricing model acceptable for you? Any other tips before we make our decision? All feedback appreciated!

LinkedIn Learning requires "wrong" French language pack - how to resolve?

We’ve run into an issue with LinkedIn Learning videos: Our platform is in English and French Canadian. However, in order for LinkedIn Learning videos to appear in the central repository, we needed to turn on the French language package (on advice from Support).However, now our registration page now offers French as a third language new users can choose from, but we don’t want that.We’re still in touch with Support, but I wanted to check if someone else has already found a workaround for this issue! Things we’ve considered:Change everything to French and deactivate French Canadian: We’d like to avoid that option as we use language a lot to tailor content and auto-enroll users and we’d need to update that throughout all of the LMS, yikes! Can the LinkedIn Learning content be “tricked” by renaming the French Canadian language package to French? Is there an API to create training material of type HTML page?

I am building an FAQ within a course container by using HTML pages (i.e., one html page per question and answer). I’m wondering if there is an API available to quickly create HTML pages with the relevant content. I’m haven’t found anything in the API explorer, but perhaps I am missing something? If not, I’ll look to do some browser automation using Python.
