I have a page with two widgets in a row. The background image I upload for one of the widgets, no matter the size of the image (I’ve tried anything from 700px width to 300px), always looks the same in desktop preview.Is there a way to manipulate this or is there a recommended dimension for widget backgrounds?I was thinking about the background-size: cover; css code but when I try it in chrome inspect, it doesn’t impact the image size.

Hello, I have a group that gets populated via enrollment rule. The group has certain guidelines for example users must be part of a specific branch, and an additional field must be populated with “New Hire”. And it works great. However, I need to add a branch but only to new users.If I update the group to include more branches, will the existing users in that branch also get put in that group? I’m trying to figure out if docebo is retro active and checks every user in the branch for this criteria. We do not want existing users. New users only.

I have been tasked with running a report that allows the firm to see at a glance what courses (both ILT and eLearning) we have in a catalog without a user having to log in and physically look.I have been told this is not possible.  Has anyone found a way to do this at all?Note: we can’t just use categories, as some courses fall into more than one and you can only assign a course to one category. Thanks... Neil 

We are redesigning our channel structure. Previously, we had a “Customer Videos” channel containing all videos visible to our external branch and had hoped users would filter/search for what they were looking for, but feedback is asking that we make multiple channels and assign those videos across the new channels (e.g., Product A Videos, Product B Videos, etc.).Unfortunately, we have hundreds of videos to reassign. I checked with Support and they said there is no API call to do this, and there doesn’t look like a way to do this via the UI. Before I spend many hours manually moving assets from one channel to another I thought I’d take a shot and ask here. Anyone done this before?

Hi - Has anyone been able to only show “active” learners in their groups?  My groups always show both “active” and “inactive” users.  I suspect I could add an additional field which would indicate that, but I really shouldn’t have to do that.  Thoughts? 

We have an All Staff Catalog and staff catalogs for each of our locations. We need a few people to receive the new course notification when courses are added to certain staff catalogs. I know I need to have a power user profile for these individuals so they are the ones that receive the message.I’m having problems narrowing the notification to only include the staff catalogs for certain locations. I’ve been trying to do this by selecting certain branches, but the notification is being sent when courses are added to our All Staff Catalog. I think this is because the branches I selected also have access to the All Staff Catalog.What am I missing? Is there a way to send the New Course notification for courses that are added to specific catalogs and not for every course added to the platform?

I know this used to be possible, as seen in the GIFs in this knowledge article: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020084140?input_string=branchNow, though, there is no way to search for Branches when adding a user to them (after user creation) that I can find.Has this feature been removed or is there a better way to find branches to add users into them? I have over 10,000 branchesso clicking through the pages is not an option.

I am looking to quantify how many pieces of content I have in my Docebo platform. Obviously I know how many courses I have but I want to quantify other types of assets that have been uploaded. Just a number would be great but a count broken down by type (videos, shared links, # of docs/pdfs, etc.) would be ideal. 

We are looking to use channels to present learning plans in segments to users on custom pages. However, we really wanted to use the list view which is not available on course/LP widget or channel widget, just the catalogs widget, which would not work for this. Decided to do some CSS styling to try to imitate, and go a few steps further to allow users to clearly know where they are at with each course and when complete, let it be not as important and take up significant less space. Heres a quick before/after of what we went for: Obviously this was quite a bit of CSS, but feedback has been positive. Hi all,We are figure out what the implications of the Chrome 92 update is for us and our e-learning materials. (Details are under the July 27th release notes.) What is not working for you all and what problems are you all finding?

Are you able to enroll a Branch into a learning plan, but excuse the Branch from one of the Courses in the Learning Plan? 

I feel like such a noob. I’m looking at how we can use Docebo for both classroom and webinar sessions and I am getting totally bamboozled as to what the idea behind ILT courses is and how best to use it.We have a group of people receiving training from us across several dates throughout the next year.At the moment, I’ve created a session for each component:-a half hour meeting for planning via zoom is in a session with one event.-a four-hour zoom meeting on a different day is in one session with one event.-a three day in-person course is in one session with three events, one for each day.When I open the course, it only shows the first session and I have to use the drop-down to select different sessions. That feels counterintuitive. I want learners to see what is coming up throughout the whole course, not just the first session. Is there a better way to set the session/events up? Is there an overview page I am missing? What’s the best use for

To increase the amount of partecipants in our virtual classroom we moved our training from Microsoft teams to Yammer. This allowed us to increase the number of people in a single session, but also to have everyone still registered as usual. The results have been incredible from a bunch of people to over 100’s view and completion. If you need a step by step let me know 

Has anyone found any creative solutions for including videos in an e-mail or newsletter since for some odd reason Docebo only supports .FLV (Adobe Flash) files? 

Hey everyone! We’re getting ready to make the “Managers and Teams” function available to our internal teams. Data from our HRIS (ADP) is pushed into Docebo each evening and the manager/subordinate relationship is established. Of course I’ll be assigning power user profiles and creating a manager-centric dashboard for this group of individuals.Has anyone else “rolled out” this feature to their internal teams? What types of training/support did you prepare to share with those using this function? Any major pitfalls you’ve experienced? Are there any particular power user permissions we should pay particular attention to? Would love to hear about anyone else’s experience here! 

Hello,I’m wondering if you have any good solutions to deal with fast-clickers, i.e. users, who just click through the courses to finish them as fast as possible without actually focusing on the content. We’re trying to introduce more difficult tests, more interactive elements, etc. but in the end, we can’t seem to find a real solution that would both help and be user-friendly at the same time. Unfortunately, adding badges for course completion makes it even worse because then the % of fast-clickers increases.Do you have any ways of dealing with that?

We have an issue where users search for training material and select a specific module from course content in the results. The course has been configured so it’s free and open enrollment and included in the course catalog. However, when a user clicks on the search result for a specific learning object nested within a course, they receive a 404 error message. Once we enroll them in the course, they can access the learning object.Is there a workaround or settings I should configure to prevent this from happening? 

Has anyone experienced any issues lately with the catalog widget on their widget pages? We utilize the catalog widget feature on our homepage to highlight curated catalogs for our users each month. Noticed this morning that we are presented with the following.  

Currently, when you add a widget, it is automatically added to the mobile view with the option to hide and or not visible at all if not supported. Can this "hidden" function can also be added when working with desktop view? One possible use case is when a widget is unsupported in mobile, we can load another widget to its place. Sample:Desktop viewiframe (visible)html widget (set as not visible) Mobile Viewiframe (not supported)html widget (visible - this will act as the iframe's substitute) Is there any way to manually configure this via CSS? 

Hey there Docebo Community!!!One of my favorite product developments of the past couple of years is webhooks. There’s so much potential for clients to create their own “integrations”; we started with something like 20 triggers when we first released them a couple of years ago and we’re up to 61 different triggers today with more on the way.I’ve seen some internal webhook demos where you can do things like populating a Google sheet with real-time information about enrollments or completions (which is super cool), sending a trigger to other  email notification systems, and even turning on a wifi-connected lamp when an event took place in Docebo with @riccardogalimberti.I’ve been chatting with my fellow CXM, @Marina Vestita, about this and we’re curious to hear what other examples

Hi. We have been struggling to find a suitable way to send a welcome email to new starters. We have been triggering it based on an auto-enrollment rule for a Learning Plan and using the “User has been assigned to a learning plan” email.However, we find that some users never receive the email even though they have an active mailbox, whilst other do. It also isn’t ideal as we have found that if existing users change org structure they will be enrolled as the platform sees them as new user as they are moved across org units.We do a weekly CSV import using Automation rules so have hoped to use the “User has been created (by Administrator)” but, although the audit trail shows this event, the email doesn’t trigger. So would be interested to hear how you are welcoming your new users and see if we have missed something or need to raise tickets to get these issues sorted out!ThanksRichard

Hello! I am looking for recommendations of good providers in the content shop that offer their courses in many different languages.

Does anyone know how a manager views and fills out an Observation Checklist? I have created the OC, assigned the manager, and created the notification. The notification goes through and the manager receives email/bell notification, but cannot get to the checklist to actually fill it out. Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

Good morning! We are three weeks from our soft launch and while our team is still learning about all of the features, I thought I would reach out to this group for a question I can’t find an answer to elsewhere. What is your favorite report for finding your most active learners, or do you use gamification? The Branches report (when switched to user view) show the individual courses users have taken. The Users report - shows the users/data/ The Courses report - seems to show only the courses. How can I pull a report that shows me a roll up per user of the courses they’ve taken (by branch)? Bonus question: Do you have a favorite custom report you’ve built?
