I’m currently trying to get my head around skill sets and visibility. We’ve set up the skill sets so that certain users can add the skills. We are currently doing a trial with certain departments to see how they use the system. The all skills skill set is unpublished.Some of the skills are not published to sets however super admins can see them and add them to a course if they want to. Some skills are not published in a skill set and as it turns out the AI can add them to a course. If the skill set is not available to a user then they can still see the skills if they are associated with a course or an asset. So my question is, how do you limit visibility to only the skills in published skill sets and how do you find out if there is a skill not published in a skill set what it is? Currently I have an API that tells me if a skill is not in a skill set and I then have to search for that skill in the skills managment system to see what it’s asociated with. Ve

Hi All, I’ve read through different Community and Knowledge Base articles and we can’t find a clear answer on this question;Daily Notification to all learners showing Overdue courses Our Learners are employees who need to undertake Code of Conduct, Bullying Harassment etc as part of onboarding These are built into a specific Learning Plan for Mandatory Training We are 7 months into Docebo and have some notifications that work and others that don’t. Understand there is a roadmap solution in future, but hoping the interface is simply to use and has some actual smarts about it.Also - after applying all the Google (gmail) workaround with Mailbox update, are Gmail users in your platform still not recieving Forgot Password emails etc?

Has anyone found a good solution for capturing statistics for visits to pages on their LMS?  I know Google Analytics has some info, but from what I’ve seen on our end with it, it does not capture any sort of information about users… just number of visits (total and by unique users). What we’d love to be able to see is WHO is visiting those pages, but I don’t know that there is a way to capture that type of information.

We have just launched our first Gamified learning - badges for courses, points, then badges for learning plans. One thing we are lacking is any way to display the fact that someone earned a badge while they are in the course.From what I understand the only way they know they have earned something is if they go and look at their badge info in their profile. The only way I can think of to do this is to add a final html content piece into a course. The module would essentially be a congratulations page with their badge info that they have to do to complete the course. Our gamification means that they earn a pice of a jeep for each course completed, at the end of the learning plan they have earned all the pieces to then earn the whole car. Does anyone have any ideas of another way to do this?

This is an HTML template that I shared with one of the old “Global Success Digest” newsletters that we used to send. Hi all, I’m fairly new to Docebo so bear with me. I’m looking at creating Groups and I’m surprised that there’s no exclude option for any of the conditions. Ideally I’d like to have the ability to exclude a Group from a Group. Is this possible? If not, does anyone have any workarounds. I’m hoping to avoid the need to create large numbers of complex groups?   ThanksMartin

Hi, We are considering adding Udemy to our platform. Does anyone out there use Udemy and how is the integration between the two? 

Once you have created a playlist, in the “edit playlist” screen, where does the “add content” button pick assets from?I’m trying this and it doesn’t pick up any content in the results. The playlist is published in a private channel, but the results do not even include other content within the same channel (which is not already on the playlist). Neither it shows public content, which is visible to anyone in the platform. 

Does anyone know if there is a way to allow users to view training material without enrolling? I have a public catalog on the login screen, but when you click on the course it requires enrollment which then prompts the user to register. I want people to be able to view these courses without registering...

As s a new LMS administrator at a SaaS company, I'm seeking advice from experienced admins. We recently updated a Learning Plan with new courses covering software features and content gaps. Consequently, previously completed learners are now shown as "In Progress."What's the best practice in this situation? Should we grant credit for the new content to those who completed the original plan?Your insights would be greatly appreciated.

My company is looking to bulk assign group resources to our power users. We have hundreds of groups and each user is a part of one of those groups. If they’re a power user, they have visibility and access over their respective group. To make this possible, each power user need to be assigned their group as a group resource.  Is there a way to bulk upload and assign the group resources? 

Hello,If a user previously completed a course, and earned a certification (with expiry) as a result, but they have now been unenrolled from the course and are not required to renew the certificate, is there a way to update this in the platform so that they’re not prompted to renew?

Hello, Working on some designs for our homepage and two of them use the For attribute to function. However, it seems as though as soon as we add the code to the HTML widget, all instances of the For attribute are removed by the system automatically. Has anyone seen this before? Any workarounds? I’m wondering if anybody has worked out how to customise the background color of the current day in the catalog calendar view. It’s a weird off-yellow kind of thing which is not part of any of our color settings, so I’m not sure how it’s defined or whether it can be changed. I’ve been able to modify other calendar colors usng css from previous community threads but couldn’t find anything for this.  

We are still fairly new and hadn’t yet implemented the Skills functionality. We were ready to try it, but are running into issues as it doesn’t function in the way we were led to believe and wanted to be able to leverage.Use case goal: A manager (poweruser) thinks “I really want Jane Doe to improve her skills related to all things warehouse. I wonder what courses she should take?” What we thought: We thought we could have a button on a page for “Search for courses based on Role or Skill” and have it link to a channel we had setup a channel based on the Warehouse skillset. The manager could then view all the courses associated with that skillset.The problem: The manager (poweruser) can only see the skills associated with them, so if skills in the Warehouse skill set aren’t assigned to them, they won’t see any courses in the “Warehouse” channel.Possible workarounds that come to mind for me:Assign all skills to managers so they will see

I’d like to know which users have opted to follow a given channel on our platform. From asking the helpdesk, they have said that there is not a built-in way to generate a list of followers of a channel, but I’m wondering if any of you have found a work-around to get at this information. For example, I don’t know much about API, but is there a way to use an API call or set of calls to get this information?

Hello,I wondering if anyone can help or advise….We've set up a course equivalency between 3 courses. 1 course is the source and the other 2 courses are the targets.When we put the 2 courses that are the targets into a learning plan learners who have completed the source course are not being marked as complete.Would anyone know why? What we are doing is changing content in the learning plans and we don't want learners who have completed the learning plan to take the new courses. Hoping someone can help or advise. ThanksAnt

Hi there We are in a heavily compliance driven industry, which requires a number of qualifications to be taken at regular intervals (recertified) with external companies.As we are compliance driven, we need to have the completion date of the certificate as the expiry, not the date the certificate was uploaded. This is because:Staff are required to join the organisation with at least 3 months left on this qualification (can be anything from 3 months - 3 years depending on certificate required) Certifications are from a registered training organisaiton, so they take 1-4 weeks after completion for the staff member to receive a copy of them We were hoping to use the “External training” app for this as it allows staff to enter the actual date for completion, however our staff do not have access to a computer or tablet (most of them don’t even have one at home), which means they cannot access the “external training” option.

A learner posted questions to a course but the assigned instructors never received an email notification from the LMS. I reviewed existing notifications and the “New Question to Expert” notification is active and applies to this course. I don’t see a specific notification for this use case but maybe I’m missing something? 

Is there a way to save a default list of audit trail filters?

I’m not sure if this can be done, but I’m hoping some people may have some experience with this. I’m setting up some ILT sessions. I created a widget with a button that will take the user to the session page and allow them to pick a session and enroll. The problem is, we have limited seats in our class and I want just the managers to enroll their people. When I restricted the enrollment and logged into the manager account, I click on MY Team and clicked enroll user to course. When I selected the correct ILT course, it enrolled them into the course but it didn’t allow me to enroll inn a specific session date. Is there a way a manager can enroll in the course and pick the specific session for their people?

Hi All~ Just wanted to make sure I am understanding what happens when I unpublish a badge correctly.If I unpublish a badge, staff that have already earned it and it’s points, will keep the badge and the points and can see them in the gamification area.If the badge is unpublished, users who have not earned that badge prior to it being unpublished, would they be able to see it in the badges not yet awarded section?Use Case: We are running a leaderboad for 1 quarter where staff can earn badges assigned manually. Once the leaderboard expires, we will not be manually awarding these badges anymore. My goal is once I unpublish a badge - those that have not earned them can’t see that they exist and won’t fall under the not awarded yet section. Thank you!

Hello, We currently have our settings for people to self-register (our platform has free content on it for people to access) and they then get sent an email, which they click on to complete their registration. We are considering adding in the setting where no confirmation email is sent.Questions:If someone then registers, do they then just automatically get into the LMS? Are there any risks to doing this? The registration has several additional fields so we do ask for more than just name and email. Not sure if it opens us to security risks of some sort.If we gave someone a direct link to a course and they are not registered, currently they get sent to the main LMS page. Is there a way that they would register and go straight to that course?Thanks so much for your help!Amanda
