In our company, multiple Power Users from the same branch share course management using shared categories: whoever has the category assigned can manage all courses within it operationally, without needing the superadmin.
The issue: enrollment approval notifications don't follow this same logic. They're only sent to the PU who created the course, or to whom the superadmin manually and individually assigned it — the shared category isn't enough, even though it grants full visibility and management over the course.
Result: every time a PU creates a new course, to get the notification to the other PUs in the same category, the superadmin would need to assign it to them individually, and repeat this every time. With 200+ PUs across 60+ branches, this isn't sustainable.
This feels like an inconsistency: for users, a shared branch is enough; for courses, a shared category is enough; but for notifications, an individual manual assignment is required. It would make more sense for PUs who already manage a course via category to also receive notifications tied to that course.
Has anyone found a workaround, or is this a known limitation pending future development? Thanks!
