Power Users: courses, learning plans, and enrollments
Give Power Users a faster way to manage routine LMS tasks. They can connect external AI assistants to Docebo’s MCP server and manage courses, learning plans, and enrollments through natural conversation. Actions remain within each Power User’s existing platform permissions, while Superadmins keep their current MCP access unchanged.

Learning data insights for Power Users
Power Users would be able to use AI to query and analyze learning analytics, a capability currently limited to Superadmins. This would work both through external AI assistants and the native in-platform Docebo AI assistant, with results always scoped to the Power User's assigned platform permissions.
Course code and category support
Administrators will be able to set and retrieve course codes and categories when managing courses and learning plans through the Docebo MCP Server. This includes the ability to search for the appropriate category before creating or updating a learning item.
Fetch learning item for assets
Extend the Fetch Learning Item tool to support Assets, joining Training Materials, Courses, and Learning Plans already supported. External AI assistants can retrieve the full text transcript of a specific Asset and answer questions about it directly, giving the tool complete coverage across every primary content type on the platform.
MCP Server analytics dashboard
A new MCP Analytics dashboard in the Docebo Insights tab gives administrators visibility into how the Docebo MCP Server is being used across their instance. Admins get KPI totals, usage breakdowns by tool and user, and filters to drill down by date range, branch, group, or server path.
System-to-system authentication
Non-interactive, system-to-system authentication for the Docebo MCP Server. Automated AI agents, backend services, and headless applications can authenticate and run MCP tools without a user logging in through a browser.
Authentication for external training
Docebo MCP Server Authentication for External Training makes it easier for your external learners, partners, and other authorized audiences to access Docebo through their external AI assistants. External users connect through their Docebo account, then use MCP tools within the permissions and enrollments already assigned to them.
