Do Groups need time before assigning?

We just created a group with 7000 people in it. We then went to assign a course to this group. On the last page of the enrollment process, the group showed zero members. When we tried to run the enrollment/assignment, we saw a red box at the bottom of the screen without words. (see below). Has this happened to anyone else? Do we need to wait for the group to process longer before assigning?

Our team has discovered that there is currently a 3-hour delay in the group recalculation. Our engineers are on it, and I've linked this ticket so you can receive updates along the way!

  • Typically, group updates happen within 0 to 15 minutes, depending on how complex the recalculation is.
  • Sometimes, we may experience slower processing times. If that occurs, our internal SRE team is alerted to review the situation. Any significant delays will be shared on the Docebo status page while we work to resolve them.

@JKolodner - yes - that is exactly what we have run into in the past. They seem to get a nudge during certain overnight refreshes.

We should ALL BE WATCHING with the new group behaviours coming along with the next scheduled release.
