Question

Editable forms

Hi all,

Are there any available workarounds for embedding editable forms within a course via training materials? Or any other way?

The context for this is I have CSM’s who would like to track the progress of new hires, but their checklist involves simple tasks like: Shadow a customer. I’d like for the CSMs to be able to tick that this is completed and add a completion date without having to do this via an external source (if possible!!)

Is this possible? Are there any feasible workarounds?

Thank you

Lee

I think an Observation Checklist is what you are looking for.

I agree that checklists are great for a built-in option however if you need something that is more editable, you can use the iframe widget and a form built on Sharepoint or Google Sheets and embed that in a page. The data would be captured on Sharepoint or google. Never hurts to have options.

Does the iframe option give the user the option to edit directly through the iframe window?

Observation checklists are great, but I am after just a checklist option, almost like an embedded google doc/sheet that the CSMs can edit directly through the window rather than go to the document itself

@lee.butler from what I’ve tried in the past, yes. Since you are basically working on the external site via the iframe. It’s super quick to setup to test. Just create a basic form and Google Sheets will create an embed code you can use in the iframe widget.
