Hello,

I’m exploring the Observation Checklists for a critical project at my org. I have created a mock checklist, scheduled it for my test users (to be completed by me, their manager), and submitted a few of them.

However, the business case requires this same checklist to be completed multiple times over the course of new hire training. I have reviewed the Scheduling observation checklists page and see the following notes. However, after I’ve submitted the checklist, I do not seem to have the option to return and submit the next observation (same person; just pretend it’s a new week or skill they’ve learned that needs to be checklist-ed).

Step 4 : Set the checklist’s time frame

Set the checklist availability period among the following options:

  • Anytime: This option keeps the checklist available from the Start date. Observers can submit it multiple times. The start date can be the current day.
  • Schedule a time frame: The checklist will be available between the start and end date you set here and will reappear every X days, weeks, or months as set in the 'Repeats' field" (or will not repeat at all). The start date can be the current day.
  • Based on course completion: The checklist will be available once, after the selected course is completed. Start typing the name of course and select it.

you have the correct option. Did you uncheck the option pre-filter on the My Checklist page that only shows those needing attention? I have tested this may times and can confirm that when you set the schedule to Always Available, as soon as you submit the first one, the next is instantly available. You might also check on the observer profile if you are only the approver as it would need to start there. You can edit a checklist that has been submitted though so it would always be a new one.

Now, any suggestions on how to export the checklist data in Excel?

Ha! that’s a hard one. Only report is the on-screen version, There are some ideas out there and perhaps we’ll something in Insights soon..?? Checked the APIs but they only provide summary data. Sorry other than a screen capture, we’re out of luck
