Hi All.

For  auditing purposes,  I need to include the course description and the learner's signature on the course completion certificate.

I noticed that DOCEBO has an interface with Docusign.

Have any of you implemented this integration?

Is it possible to insert the Learner signature in the course completion certificate?

As for the course description, the ideal would be for the certificate to be printed on both sides. On the front, the certificate itself, and on the back, the course description. We haven't found a solution.

Any tips?

Regards,

If the signature can belong to a user additional field, you should be able to drag that into your certificate but not sure iff you can actually store a signature in an additional field as it’s likely an image object, not text.

As for printing on both sides - not sure how you can achieve that since it only works on a single 8” x 10” type format (based on the background image size.

Hi @lrnlab , thank you for your response. About the Docusign Integration, Do you believe we can implement this signature in the certificate?

Not sure as I have not done this integration before. You would need to have an additional field created to house that data (not sure a signature would qualify as it is likely stored as an image) and then you can pull that field into your certificates as needed,

Are you able to do the reverse by pulling in the Docebo data to your Docusign and then generate the certificate from there instead?

@lrnlab I believe so. Through a webhook, when the course is completed, the certificate goes to DocSign, where the learner signs it. The problem is that the signed certificate will not be stored in the LMS, but in DocuSign.

I understand...pretty sure you cannot attach a document to an enrolment record in Docebo. The only spot I know you can attach a document to user is via the user profile. There is an additional field called, “File” that will allow to upload a document and store on the profile. Not sure if that would meet your needs.

Another, perhaps odd way, to store a document from a user inside a course would be to look at using the “Assignment” training material type. Only thing is you would have to make sure that it is not a required part of the course completion criteria (meaning it should not be required for the course to be marked as completed)

Hope you find something helpful.
