HI, Can anyone advise how best to capture direct  course links?  if you are enrolled on a course yourself, or you grab a url from the course managment area the links break for users. if i want a direct link to a course, where is the best place to get it from? cheers,

I noticed that the previous admin did on our system not using a consistent course code structure. When I pointed it out, I was tasked with coming up with a standard and bringing the existing courses into compliance with the new standard. Before I go changing things in the production system, I would like to know if there are any down stream impact to making these changes? Reporting, access, transcripts, etc.? Any cautionary tales here?

Hi all! We are beginning our build out and within our brand we tend to use a lot of gradient colors. Do you know if we can change the header bar from a solid color to a gradient with CSS? I have been trying to figure this out and I keep coming up with a dead end. Thanks!

I have searched this, but I cannot find an answer. I have an automatically generated group. We had a user leave the company. Now I want to delete him from the group he was in. I can switch him to Manual, but there is no way that I see where I can delete him? There are other groups I need to clean up, but again, l cant find a way to delete the user from the group. What am I missing?

I’m an incoming super admin for our medium-sized organization’s newish Docebo project. I missed several months of the initial planning and project and I’m working hard to catch up :)  It’s a mountain of information and decisions and possibilities, but my question for Superadmins (or anyone) out there is how do you keep track of all the parts, pieces, procedures, practices and things? I need to get and stay organized, but I wanted to get your ideas. Do you use Excel, back of an envelope, Monday.com or other method of documenting and organizing all the things that make up your Docebo universe? Many thanks in advance!EM

Hi I’ve been adding some text to one of our ‘Course additional fields’. For some reason it won’t save my text over 34 word/276 characters. I can’t find anywhere on the knowledge base that says there is a character restriction and until the latest update I’ve been able to save much longer text to the additional field. Has anyone else tried this? Is it just me having this problem? Have I accidentally found a bug again or is this in the design on purpose for some reason?

Hi all,We have been looking for a solution to what may be a niche problem. Currently, our branches are structured by Customer. We also have an Additional Field for each user, detailing what their “Functional Area” is - ie Finance, Production, Operations, etc.Our courses fall into two categories - general software and products available to everybody, and specific software and products available to only certain customers. Also, although we enroll them in courses upon creating their user, we really want them to explore and find courses that are meaningful to them.Additionally, not all of these courses are appropriate for each “Functional Area”. For example, we would not expect a Finance user to go through a course detailing how to use the software to analyze an asset. What we were hoping to do is create a limited number of catalogs (in this instance 2 - Software and Products). Then, the courses that would be visible to the customer would depend on the user’s branch and additional fields (C

Has anybody experienced duplicate notifications firing out?  We are testing at the moment at the certificate expiring message has sent out twice per user.

We’re working on a project where it’s a high priority that barriers to access are as low as possible which is why we’ve opted for free self-registration where users are forwarded to the LMS and can start learning right after registration without any confirmation.Intended behavior: When a user self-registers, a notification is sent to a facilitator@… email addressContext:As part of the program, a facilitator reaches out to new users. There are multiple facilitators that share a facilitator@… email address for all communication with learners. The idea is that each facilitator gets a folder in that shared email address. Once they reach out to the user, they move the notification email to their own folder I created a power user account and profile for that email address just for that purpose, I only need a notification that triggers when a user self-registers (without confirmation)Things that failed:“User Created” notifications: They are “by admin” or “confirmed registration” only and don’

My Activities Maybe some of you have notice this change, but this section in the My Activities is now called Training Journeys instead of Learning Plans. We find this very confusing and are not sure why Docebo has changed this. Anybody any thoughts about this???

This may be a 101 question, but I cant believe I am getting stuck on this.I have an SME asking for a report scoped to the learning objects in the learning plan.Is there a way to report on just the courses in a learning plan? The courses do live outside of the learning plan as well as inside of it. Said learning plan is not in catalogs and is only used for mapped learning, but the courses do live in catalogs.

We seem to be experiencing inconsistencies with the 'invite to watch' functionality from channel assets, interested to know if anyone else is experiencing this?I would expect the notifications to be sent at the time of event however, sometimes it’s taking longer than an hour to hit peoples inbox. With this in mind, I am currently having to invite my manager to watch all content that I send to the customer because I don’t know when they’ll actually receive it. I’m wondering if the events falls into a queue of jobs that run sequentially? Maybe certain times of day tend to be busier than others?  The invite to watch notification is something that we are keen to use heavily for proactive engagement as well as training support. For example, if a customer emails in with a question and we have an asset that walks through it, great invite them to watch. However, right now we see some come through immediately and others taking almost an hour. Has anyone else experienced this?...it doesn’t give

Once you have a report setup like you want it with fields and organization, is there a way to clone or copy that report so you can change the filters to keep the basic design but run it for a different group/branch?  I’ve spent a lot of time getting a report to look like I want it to and now I need to duplicate it for different segments of our user population but can’t see how to do that without creating new reports from scratch.

I’ve been trying to get a video that we’ve embedded onto a homepage to autoplay muted when the pages loads. I’ve been trying the code I’ve pasted below (“#” is the link for the .mp4 file), but no luck. Any tips would be much appreciated!<video width="960" height="540" controls="autoplay muted"><source src="#" type="video/mp4">Your browser does not support the video tag.</source></video>

Hello,The “General import options” section on the left when importing a csv. Does anyone know the names of these columns for importing? We will be implementing a feed in the future and i want to make sure we address these settings.I do know the first one, Force Password Change. But not the rest.Thank you,0

We have a customer trying to purchase a course.  For our eCommerce solution we have integrated with Cybersource.  Our testing worked well - no issues  However, the first customer to purchase a course is getting a payment denied error after clicking Confirm Order - but before the credit card options even appear. I worked with the help chat yesterday and they did their best, but eventually created a support ticket.  I have not gotten a response yet.  Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and how it was resolved.  Thank you,Cheryl

I am very new to Docebo. I enabled the Certification and Retraining App and it looks like it has basic functionality that should satisfy my requirement. However, I would like some certifications that apply only to one group of (internal) users. For example, I want to identify a subset of courses towards certifying support engineers in product knowledge. These courses are accessible and appropriate for other users also, but certification must be limited to the support group users. Is it possible to accomplish that in some way? How should I think about this?

Hello,Has the Google Analytics guide been released yet as mentioned during Inspire 2021? It was said it would be available end of October. Thanks!

We have a learning plan with several courses. All courses are mandatory. There are 4 types of optional live Zoom sessions (these are not part of the learning plan). The current setup is: 4 ILTs (one per type) bundled in a “Live Sessions” catalog. What I want to achieve: I want to direct learners to that “Live Sessions” catalog from within each of the mandatory learning plan courses. My idea was to add an HTML page along the lines of “Don’t forget you can join a live session” plus a link to the catalog.Where I’m stuck:I can’t find a link to a catalog that works for all users. The only link I’ve found is one I grabbed from the course catalog overview page. That link works for the user I was logged in as, but not anyone else. A link to the specific ILT instead of the catalog would also be great. Surely, that’s possible, but where do I get the links from? UPDATE: I suppose that’s what enrollment links are going to be that will be rolled out at the end of January 2022

Hi everyone,I receive a lot of helpdesk requests from users that forget their username. They use the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page and type in what they think is their username, or email address and the system happily says it is sending an email to them. However, you can put anything, any username or email address and it says the same message without saying anything useful like “that username does not exist” or “that email address is not registered.”So my users happily wait for an email that never arrives, then frustrated submit a helpdesk request.I didn’t know it had this behaviour and cannot understand it. Is it some kind of anti-spam thing?Does anyone else think this is unhelp to both users and admins alike?

Hey everyone! We’re just starting to use Docebo Shape, and we’re thinking about using it to create marketing material to use outside of the LMS. I can see great potential with the translation and voice-over features. Just wondering if anyone has tried using quiz scenes - is there a way to view user answers? Can it accept wrong answers, or does the question always have to be answered correctly to move on to the next scene?Looking forward to hearing more thoughts and use-cases for Shape.

Hello, We have many ILT sessions for ILT courses, and over a course of a year the sessions for these ILT courses grew and are quite large. My question is: “Are there any data issues that stem from deleting a session? We also have self enrollment into these ILT courses which adds to the confusion because the user has to pick a session.I may have to delete a bunch of last years sessions, unless there is a way to hide them. It’s not user friendly having to search through an entire year of sessions to join one.Any tips will be greatly appreciated.Thank you !

OK - I seem to be missing something. I have entered some custom CSS under the Branding, Look, and Feel area in both the 7.0 and the 6.9 areas. If I use an HTML Widget for a custom page - the custom CSS works fine. However, if I try to use the same custom CSS to style something in an HTML Page as training material for a course - it is ignored.I have also tried doing some style tags but those get stripped out.I seem to remember a place where I could put some CSS for courses but I cannot seem to find it again. It appears I can do some things by placing some styles inline like such but I’d rather access something pre-defined.<p style="color: #ff0000;">Red</p>Is there a way to style course HTML pages with custom CSS?

So, I have the LinkedIn Learning catalog, and it allows people to curate their own content, which drops it in the CLOR.I would like to have it categorized. The trouble is, I can’t tell which courses aren’t in a category.Any ideas how to manage this?

Is it possible to add a field to the users’ pages that show which branch they area  member of?
