Solved

I am having trouble with figuring out how or what to set someone's enrolment status as in order to enable them to enrol on a new session/event.They were absent from a session/event which has been marked as absent by the instructor - however without disenrolling them I am struggling to be able to see what status I need to choose for them to be able to go ahead and select a new date from the course?I need them to remain on the previous session as absent really so we are able to report on absentees.Does anyone have any ideas on how I might go about this?TIA

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if there's a way to embed dynamic components in courses that adjust based on the user accessing the course. As a software company, we're keen on allowing students to launch their personalized virtual machines from within the course to access our software. While we've figured out how to create the component, we're now investigating how to retrieve the user ID using Docebo's API. Any advice on accomplishing this and where to place the component within the course structure would be much appreciated!

Hello,I am running in to a little problem with courses not being mark complete after the training material is completed. Both for SCORM and AICC. It leaves them in-progress. I have even signed in as the user, completed course and nothing. I also have the setting for the course as seen below and also as no. Seeing the issue for both. There is only one training material in these courses. Any idea what i can adjust?

Hi,Is it possible to restrict some courses by IP?We need to restrict some courses to only access in the work IP, not at home or in external network.

Hello Community! For those using the integration with Zoom/Outlook.Has anyone been able to allow access to an external consultant to lead an event? How did you generate the Zoom link for the vILT to share with the consultant, ahead of time and outside of SSO? I was able to add the consultant as a user in Docebo and add them as an instructor, but this is not sending a Zoom link being that with the integration, users must access/start the session from Docebo and are not given an actual Zoom link.

Our team is starting to host various “Functionality” Trainings. These trainings will vary in audience. Currently just People Managers, but eventually, will include Team Members as well. All are end users of the platform. We will offer 4 options per session. For example, if we want to do a session on Observation Checklists. The topic would be the Checklists, and learners have 4 options for which session they will attend (different days and times). This will turn into a series that we plan to have more sessions, all related to functionality. The set up will be the same to allow them to sign up for the option that best fits their schedule. How would I best set up this ILT so that learners can enroll is the session that best suits their schedule? As well as be able to sign up for future sessions? Does it need to be separate ILT courses? I need to take into consideration reporting as well.

We have gotten some initial feedback from a pilot user that is struggling whenever certain learning objects are the end of a course. For example, if a Knowledge Check is last it shows the results of the Knowledge Check instead of the Complete text with the trophy icon. Is there any way to get the course to always show complete at the end of last object, instead of the object itself? This way learners will not wonder if they are truly complete or not.

Hi all,We currently utilize a Docebo Connect recipe that exports user course data (ex- course enrollment & completion data) to a CSV file. The use case is slightly growing, and we would like to capture a Course Additional Field’s value as well. It is called MandatoryStatus; this course additional field is of type ‘dropdown’ and is not optional - each course must select one of our dropdown fields (ex - mandatory_onboarding, optional).I was tinkering around with the current config, however to no avail. Perhaps it has to do with the Path I have set in my ‘Get Retrieves course enrollments in Docebo’ action? Haven’t been able to get the field to show on the CSV file. If someone has pulled this filed down into their recipe before, please share some tips!! Thank you.

Hello, I am trying to create an association question in a test, putting steps of a process in order. Naturally I want the steps shuffled. There is an option box to shuffle the answers, but Docebo doesn’t let me. It gives me the prohibitive red circle with line symbol when I try to click the box. How do I shuffle the answers?

Hi! We’re testing out Shape & I am translating our final product. The long text scenes aren’t translating - is this intentional? Can those scenes be translated? Any best practices from Shape users is appreciated! Thanks.

I am looking for the conference hotel rate that we will be able to use. I am preparing a cost for approval and cannot find this information on the website.

Happy Monday Docebo friends!Quick and (hopefully) easy question today! We recently sent a company distribution regarding how to download and access the Mobile App (Go.Learn).Is there a way to track metrics like total number of Mobile log-ins and total number of courses completed on Mobile? Thanks!Ryan

Hey, Anyone know what this is? I’ve not seen it before, but I want it removed as an option. I’ve checked in our Certification section and in our External Training/CPD section and can’t find an option to remove this?Hopefully someone can help! ThanksCharlie

Hi, bit of a funny one. Im wondering if there’s a way to change colourway configurations on the ‘test/quiz’ portion of a course? We love the colourway we have set up for our site it just doesn’t read well (user feedback) when quiz/tests are undertaken within coursesI cant find an option to change what appears to be the default alternating colours and would prefer not to change the colourway of the entire platform for something as simplistic as this. Example below and suggestions appreciated :)

Greetings,Happy Friday y’all! Has anyone set up a learning plan or course so that if the user passes a quiz, it shows as completed?

Hi, I read in the Docebo Knowledge Base that there’s an option to create transactions for groups or branches of users. From this, I understood that this would override the need for each individual user in that branch/group to subscribe to the plan. That seems like the most reasonable and practical use of this feature. However, in testing this, I noticed that individual users within that branch/group must still subscribe to the plan upon logging in even after we (Superadmins) already manually processed their transaction. This is a very poor user experience for the end-user as it involves many more clicks and can be quite confusing. What’s the purpose of the ability to manually process transactions from groups/branches of users then? Has anyone gotten this to work properly? Link to Knowledge Base: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020080900-Creating-and-managing-subscription-plansSection Title: Creating transactions for branches and groups of users

We have integrated MS Teams accounts for several users. When I create a session, it asks for instructors. I added several instructors. Then I go to Events, and choose one of the instructors MS Teams accountAfter saving, it adds the event to the users Outlook Calendar and to the Docebo Calendar - Perfect! From what I can tell, unless you use the instructors MS Teams account when creating the Event, no one gets the event added to their Outlook or Docebo calendar. Do instructors need to enroll to see it on their calendars? Is this correct or am I missing something?

Can you add the instructor's name to the calendar view of the session (in any of the calendar widgets)?I have created a calendar page with all of the workshops we are running as a team. It shows the course name description and session time and location. Is there a way to also add the session instructor to that view as well?

Hey, Community Members! Will the user status change to “monthly active user” when:Manager completes OBC? Learner completes OBC? Both?outside the course framework. I believe that user status will change to a MAU if the OBC is a training material in a course. Thank you for your attention.

Hi folks,We’ve discovered a little later than we’d have liked that ILT courses don’t really support due dates. Rather, the Days of Validity field on an ILT course affects how long the learner can access the course after their last session ends.First, a bit of context. We have more than 10,000 employees worldwide, and we have a number of compliance trainings that everyone needs to complete. Previously, we were monitoring due dates in PowerBI, but in order to grant line managers visibility over their direct reports’ compliance, we want to get these due dates into Docebo. To complicate matters, some employees are expected to take the e-learning while others are expected to get their training via ILT. For a couple of reasons, these two groups have different deadlines: 40 days for e-learning and 90 days for ILT.We’ve sadly only just realized that “Days of Validity” on ILT courses has nothing to do with “due dates”, and as such will not work as intended with the “My Team” page. So I came here

Good Morning! We kicked off our new LMS today, but I’m finding this search capability is already becoming a distraction and just causes noise. Were you able to hide the Categories and Filter options in the catalog search bars? If so, how did you accomplish that?  Thank you!

Does anyone know of a way to export the course metadata automatically, just like you would a course report or user report? I’ve looked through the various options in reporting, and i’ve looked at the automation tool, but can’t see any obvious way of doing so. I can’t use a python API script, as it has to be done hands off without my computer being involved.

Hi, what is the best way to re-enroll multiple users into a single course they have already completed? (as a refresher training)
