Any plan to add a community like this in our LMS?
Hi Salvo
Concerning Discover Coach ad Share we are working on a specific improvement on the Q&A widget , will be possible to select what Q/A show
For all the Q&A visibile to the user (Current Behavior)
For Q&A of a Specific channel (NEW)
“Company Generic” Q&A that are not linked to a specific channel or a specific content (NEW)
If one of the last 2 option is selected, will be possible to ask questions (and answer) directly from the widget
So creating a page with this widget, and selecting the “Company Generic” t you can create a page that will work like a Community.
Moreover we planned many improvements in the Widget and Q/A functionality,
- More management capability (e.g. delete the single questions),
- Allow to mention people and content within a question or an answer,
- Being able to answer an answer (and not only the question itself)
- Allow user to follow a topic or an user and get notification when there are updates
All this new functionality will be released in different phases as soon as they get ready, starting from Q4 for the mentions that are already under development by our teams, the customization of the visibility of the widget at the moment is planned for later this year or beginning next year
ciao
Marco
Still hoping for a forum widget that’s not linked to an asset/specific content as has been discussed over here:
We are launching a community along with gamification for our college mentors for the fall school year. I am trying my best to use the workaround provided by

That sounds great, looking forward to seeing what this looks like. Our learners struggle with the need to add an asset to start a conversation.
