Following contact to Docebo (#1102308) and a Community post, I will allow myself to provide this idea and hopefully provide enough context to assess whether it makes sense:
1. What specific problem or challenge are you facing?*
Currently, some of the stakeholders in the organization are interested in a monthly or weekly overview of the total number of (active) users within a specific branch. This could simply be for overview purposes and to follow any progress for the number of users within e.g. a specific country in the organization. They may not have any Power User access or they don’t wish to access Docebo to get this overview - but just want it provided to them.
Currently, the Branches Dashboard is very helpful in this regard and while it can be exported, it cannot be ‘automated’ or scheduled as a report sent through email.
The Custom Reports functionality - depending on one’s filter - also has a hard time of creating such an accessible overview compared to the Branches Dashboard. Quite a bit of sorting/filtering within a report is needed to get the total number of users while the dashboard is much more “up-front”.
I admit that this idea could be supplemented by an organization’s fields and thus a custom report may be more suitable depending on this.
2. What outcome are you expecting?*
I am hoping that it may be possible for the Docebo Product Team to consider whether to look into the possibilities of scheduling some of the predefined dashboards as is the option with the current custom reports.
This would increase the usability for some of our stakeholders and be a QoL upgrade.
3. How will this feature impact your business and/or industry?*
Time saved/Improved efficiency since the contents of the Branches Dashboard (and any filters) are - and can be - much more upfront than sifting through reports or trying to sort columns.
Generalizing, it would be building on top of some of the appreciated existing features (scheduling a custom report) and making that available for the (Branches) Dashboard.
4. Examples / Screenshots / Mock ups (if applicable)
Will try to provide some of you have anything in mind to explain the idea in a better way.
