Notifications are sent based on group assignment; however, even after selecting “remove deactivated users from group”, expired employees continue to appear within my groups. Do they still receive notifications or does the expiration override this?

We are looking to give our site a facelift and wondered if you all created your site pages or did you use a vendor? If you used a vendor, who was it?  I’d be vey interested to see any public facing sites that are considered very user friendly and appealing.  I’ve asked Docebo for sites to see examples of work they’ve done but haven’t received any links yet. Anyone care to share?  We initially used a vendor on our site, but 3 years have gone by and we now feel there is room for improvement. Any suggestions would be most helpful.Thanks,

Wishing you all the best for 2023...Has anyone figured out how to unenroll users from a Learning Plan they have not completed?I know how to unenroll a single user from the Learning Plan, so I’m looking for a method I can use on 50+ users. Like a .csv fileI can use a Learning Plan report to find the users who are In Progress or Enrolled, but am then forced to handle each user individually. YUCK! :-)Regards,KMallette/Viasat, Inc. 

For those using the Wire Transfer feature in e-commerce, quick question for you all regarding notifications.I would like to have a notification sent out to Managers when an internal employee signs up for a paid ILT course under the wire transfer option.  Since the notification for “New Wire Transfer Transaction” cannot be sent to the Manager, I was hoping to use the “Users waiting to be enrolled into course” option, but I can’t seem to get it to trigger it to go out when a wire transfer option is used.  Has anyone else had success with this? @lrnlab, I know you are leveraging this feature, do you have any waitlist notifications set up to go out for your organization?

New to Docebo and looking for examples or best practices to replicate a course offering we had in our previous LMS. We call it study hall- It is a drop in vILT session that happens twice a month. The sessions spend 30 min on a focused topic and then transition into a roundtable discussion for learners to collaborate and share. It has been very successful as a microlearning and engagement tool. I need to recreate it in Docebo and am very open in terms of format ( class, channel, whatever) as long as we can meet the following criteria:Learners can see a full event schedule and register for as many of the microlearnings as they want. After the session, a recording is available for attendees and learners who did not attend.   Attending a live session provides the learner a CE credit, watching the recording does not. Hey AllSo I have a little pickle I have been trying to figure out. We are implementing an external assessment platform and I have been able to get the platform to launch in an iframe widget, HTML Learning object, and an external page. Though each of these solutions has had an issue.The iframe widget connects automatically every time a learner clicks on a new learning object, leaving a lot of untaken assessments on the backend. Though this method does send all information I require through the API.The HTML learning object does not send any information to the assessment platform at all, every field comes out blank.Finally, I tried doing an external page (both iframe and new window), and I was able to get information, and the assessment to load, only problem is there is no course code being sent to the platform to trigger the correct assessment. Have any of you been able to get the full course code, user name, and user id from an API anywhere other than a widget? Or is there any way to ho

In Docebo under “My Team” there is an option to assign content to team members. However, when I search for LinkedIn courses to assign, the courses do not show up. If I search for them in my account they will show up but not when I try to assign to other people on my team. Is there a restriction with the LinkedIn courses? Or is there a workaround for this?  

I’m hoping for some help with training material progression. Most of my e-learning courses are set up the same way...a SCORM file course, a survey, and a test. I would like users to progress from one to the other easily. But customers get confused. When the SCORM course is done, they can close it by X’ing out. Then they see a pretty odd screen. See attached image. It makes zero sense to me to have two sets of the same buttons on this page. It also makes no sense that its states the place I left off was the survey, but the “resume’ button doesn’t take the learner there. It takes them back to the course. The last thing learners look for at this point is the list of materials on the right, when the other buttons are right in front of them.ContextFirst, I disabled the internal nav buttons. Customers were getting confused since the button is visible through the entire course. Most think it’s a button to get to the next slide. Plus, nav is not set to ‘free’ so they can’t use it anyway. I am getting from support that EE doesn’t support the go.learn app - or branded mobile app for that matter. We have links on the homepage for EE customers that keep them within EE. For example, in.leadingre.com/lyon/pages/75/lyon-home-page instead of in.leadingre.com/pages/75/lyon-home-page. The first link throws a “link type not supported” error in both go.learn and our branded mobile app. Go.learn asks which EE domain to log in to when first logging in, so it seems like EE would be supported.

We ran into an issue regarding soft validity periods and notifications. We were trying to send ourselves as super admins and power users, an email notification when a soft validity date / end period was approaching for a learning plan, but found that the email notification that was sent was also sent to our users (external customers) who were enrolled in the course as the soft validity date was approaching. Is there any way to prevent the validity date emails from being sent to users and only send to power users and / or super admins?  We would like to use the soft validity period as a trigger to notify our content team that we should review content after a year of active use for updates and changes without preventing users from accessing content while it is under review. 

Good Morning Docebo Community,I apologize for what is likely a basic question, but I’m coming up short on an answer.  I see there is a link in the Learning Plan settings to have the said learning plan visible in a catalog.  With that said, how do you assign the catalog that you want the Learning Plan to be visible in?Thank you,Ryan Berardi

Has anyone found the optimal position on the page to place the Help button from the Zendesk Web Widget? I’ve tried the left side and right side, and moving the button up from the bottom of the page. Yet it seems inevitable that the button will overlap a Continue or Next button from either the Docebo UI or a piece of e-learning. I thought I’d found a sweet spot 65px up from the default position on the right, but I just discover it cover the Continue button in a 3rd-party training that our HR team plans to assign in January.

Hello CommunityIs there a way to organize courses and LP by category in the in "Courses and Learning Plans" widget.I think it would have much better visualization and organization Not only a-z , z-a,  oldest-newest,  newest-oldest etc--- Here this option applies to all categories and all courses, correct??@erin.brisson 

We are in the process of setting up Docebo for the first time and have 11 courses and a total of about 40 lessons. Our learners will access this content in two waysDirectly in Docebo (i.e. they will log into Docebo and see the list of courses that are available) From our software platform (i.e. in our platform they will see links that will take them to additional information; clicking on that link will take them to the content in Docebo)We know that we can link to a course but would like to know if there is a way to link directly to a specific lesson.Thanks,Jeff

We have 2 sets of courses:LP1 is a mandatory learning plan where the courses have to be completed in a certain order LP2 is a set of additional optional coursesWhat I want to do: Lock down LP2 Course 3 until LP1 Course 3 is “In Progress” or “Completed.” I’m only looking forsuggestions that allow me to keep the two sets of courses in 2 separate learning plans or confirmation that this isn’t possibleBackground info: I got things to work with groups and enrollment rules when LP2 was a catalog instead of a learning plan. But when it’s a learning plan locking it down that way fails. I much prefer our learner page layout when the second optional set of courses is a learning plan. A very clean and simple learner page layout is very important for our current project. I know what I’m asking for is probably possible with CSS, but  we don’t have the capacity to make CSS changes or something more involved at this point.

I have a course that I would like to hide training materials because the material is older. I want to keep the training intact and not disrupt the learning records or really add another course and force the folks that are working with it to need to remember to report on two courses.Cool...I read up on how to work with hidden training materials and I get this….Hidden MaterialIn the Hidden section, you can flag the option to hide the training material from learners enrolled in the course. This may be necessary if the training material is no longer relevant to your training needs. Perhaps your company has modified its training plan, or you've uploaded new content. In these scenarios, deleting the material from your platform means you will delete all of the tracking data, thus changing the data and status of completion for some users. It may be useful to simply hide the material from learners instead.Additionally, please note that hidden training material will not be counted towards course

We release the same training every year ( but differnet Training Material) I’m wondering what I should do with the active users who didn’t complete last year’s training.  It’s no longer required. I don’t want to mark them complete or unenroll, but i do want them to show up as not having done that course for reporting purposes.  How do you handle repeat trainings with new content, New course each year? 

For reporting. If a PU is assigned a resource Course Category. Can they still report on it if the learning object is not in that category in the CLOR? Or, does it depend on the report?So, the PU has permission on the course.But the learning object in that course is in a different category in the CLOR. That category is not assigned as a resource to the PU. 

Hi all,  Is anyone else facing issues today 12/21/2022 regarding learning plans not loading. Seems like a latency issue. Reached out to support but they haven’t got back to us yet.  Anyone else also facing the same issue of learning plans not loading?

Currently I am using FreePik (paid not free version) and illustrator to make thumbnails.I would love to instead use stablediffusion to generate thumbnails and in the future hero images In particular, we like images that look more like scenes - the two on the left. There aren’t enough topical images like those two and I often have to use more generic clipart like the two on the right. I also spend a lot of time adding diversity to clip-art which presumably stable diffusion could do from the get-go.   Is anyone successfully using AI to generate their thumbnails? Happy to pay for a good tool!
