Use case: building a daily real estate wordle clone. I assume it would be cheaper to buy pre written html code (or make our own) than to hire someone to make an articulate storyline. But I don’t know. 

Hey everyone,We are using the social feature in Docebo (Portal) and had a question to see if anyone knows how to do a certain function inside it. On pages we created we added a widget box that was a menu bar across the top for quick access. Can’t seem to add that box on unique pages such as the Leaderboard, Calendar, My Achievements, etc. I know you can always get back to the menu different ways, but this menu we created makes it faster to navigate. Is there a way to add custom menus to these unique pages? Thanks in advance! Joel

Hi All, We are currently facing the below mentioned issue w.r.t to recertification in Docebo.Past Scenario - Our old LMS tool worked in the following manner -Set of a learning plan was established for certification. The moment there are any updates in terms of exams or courses, users would receive a notification to renew their certification /re-certify only the updated courses or exams. Expiration date would be set to three months for recertification. Certification Validity was automatically updated post successful recertification.Setting an Expiration to 3 months is not possible in docebo, neither is automatic recertification and the only way we can achieve this is now in docebo is by changing the validity manually for every individual user which will create Tons of manual work hence not an ideal solution!We also thought about launching yearly certifications but this solution has not been accepted due to the fact that users will need to recertify

I’m importing a CSV of external training for the first time into the system. As far as I know I’ve done everything correctly. Below is a screenshot of the import schema as Docebo sees it. However, none of these end up imported. After I click Next on this screen nothing happens. There is no background job generated, and I never see the trainings go into the user’s transcripts.So far I’ve tried creating the Course under “Manage Trainings and Institutes”. This didn’t fix it, and my understanding is I shouldn’t have to do that anyway because we are not requiring those fields be selected from a drop down.I don’t know what else to look at. What am I doing wrong?

Any idea why we can’t see the course thumbnails in the market place or in the imported courses (which don’t appear to have one at all?The guidance here: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082140-Managing-LinkedIn-Learning-for-the-Content-Marketplace..shows them all the way through - we never see them (see below)?Any ideas/help here?CheersChrisMarket place User view 

I just watched the Release Readiness webinar for August. YAY for custom skills!I am confused on one point though. I thought during the question and answer part Marco said (or at least didn’t say it wasn’t possible) to associate custom skills to Assets. I also understood the term Assets to be referring to informal content in channels. In the KB article on skills though, it says that custom skills cannot be associated with informal content.  For anyone wondering why I would want to do this. Imagine a field tech takes a video of how to solve a problem and uploads it on a channel. The skill would pertain to our in house system only, so it’s a custom skill. Anyone in the know…. can informal content AKA assets be tied to custom skills?  

Hey Community, when I search the platform search bar, it shows both the course and the learning object and I want to know if you can hide the learning object from the search bar so only the course appears?

We do primarily partner and end customer training, but we have a fair number of universities who integrate our courses into their curricula. We have tried to use the Manager/Team functionality to let professors assign courses and track their students’ progress. Unfortunately, they are NOT fans of this solution. They were a bit turned off because it is very clearly designed for managers. Besides that, they had two main complaints:1. They can’t group their students by class (they just appear in a bit lump on the dashboard)2. They can’t assign due dates for courses. Is there something very obvious I’m missing about the “My Team” functionality that could make the experience better? Otherwise, I’m considering setting up Power User profiles for the professors, but am afraid that might lead me to an administrative nightmare. Anyone have has success implementing something similar? All ideas are welcome! I’m totally at a loss.

Hi we can't play LI courses imported from the course marketplace.We just get a grey screen with “www.linkedin.com refused to connect”.This looks like an iframe permission problem and the client error thrown is:Refused to frame 'https://www.linkedin.com/' because an ancestor violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "frame-ancestors 'self' pemberly.www.linkedin.com *.microsoft.com *.teams.microsoft.com *.learningapp.microsoft.com https://onyx.www.linkedin.com jisctest.docebosaas.com jisc.docebosaas.com". Unfortunately no permutation of manually adding domains to the Iframe allow list helps (nor by the look of the ancestors list should it as the LI ones should be baked in as part of the integration) Users accessing via SSO and already logged in and this has previously worked for us...or am I just falling foul of this for the first time (new window works) - perhaps we got luck in choosing/testing cour

I have a slew of courses  (20+) that need the title changed. Has anybody ever done a mass course title update? If so, what were your steps?

We need to have the ability to tell the attendees to bring certain things to a course such as their laptop, a calculator, or possibly do prereading work. This only applies to some of the courses we teach, not all of them. It would be great if we could enter a special note in the Registration letter.

Hello all.I’ve got a Power User who’s getting the following error message when trying to download a report off a course (from the Course Management menu, not from the Reports menu, not sure if that makes a difference):[gnumeric] Error while converting file Does anybody know what this is about? i was able to use the same path to download the report without any problems, so i’m wondering why my PU is having trouble.Any input is appreciated.

I’m using the Certs & Retraining app to handle our Safety Training Program. Users take an elearning course and receive the associated certification. Each cert has a renewal period of 1 or 2 years. When it’s time to renew, users can take a qualifying elearning course (which is already linked to the cert).It worked as intended during testing. We’ve now launched it and have about 18 courses on the system associated with certs. The problem is that some folks are issued the cert and others aren’t. In trying to troubleshoot the issue, I’ve analyzed the reports and there’s no rhyme or reason to it. There are no themes related to date, specific course, or user that I can see.Has anyone else experienced the issue?

Hello, I am looking to move the login block to the right side of the login page.  From what I understand this can be done in the CSS section.  Has anyone done this before?  Is there a log of code involved?

I’ve been looking through the forums, and while we’ve been discussing splitting platforms, I haven’t found any thread on the opposite topic: merging platforms.My company is currently going through a merger, and this also means merging the e-learning platforms. I came across an animation that I thought was pretty cool and I decided I would try to recreate the effect for use with Docebo.This is an animated countdown timer - currently only 9 to 0 - I suppose you could have it count up as well. It uses two black divs over the top of a greenyellow div. The two black divs simply animate to different locations within the green div to mask portions of it out so that the result is a number showing through.The animation lasts for 10 seconds as you might imagine.Here is the code for you to play with and tweak as desired. Hello, crew,Has anyone figured a good way to notify/remind users who have enrolled in an ILT course but did not pick a session? Are you doing it manually or have you found an automation? After my perusal of the events/triggers list, it looks like this isn’t native at the moment.And yes, I will humbly accept the “Will, you missed the notification … it’s called: xyz.”Cheers!

I’m doing some research on ecommerce providers and 3rd party solutions and was curious if any community members would be willing to share their experiences with using the Avalara stripe integration to manage their tax remittance. In particular I’m curious about the following: Does the integration take the tax out of the sale price (Example 100 dollars sold and 15 of that is removed for tax burden) or does it add the tax on top.  If the tax is added to the total does the receipt that’s returned in the LMS contain that information?  Any gotchas or considerations with this particular integration?

How can you track/report on Go Learn app statistics? (Ex: how many users viewed a course via the app?)

Hi everyone,I have added the calendar widget on my menu. I can see that all the courses the user is enrolled on will come notified on the calendar. Just wondering if there is any chance to set it up to have the upcoming meetings on the calendar although the user is not enrolled on them?Thanks for your help in advance.

I have set up different type of managers in order to associate a bunch of users by location. The issue comes when I try to filter by association type under “My team” since all the type of managers previously created come up on the filter and I am just interested in some of them. Does anyone know if there is any possibility to set up a parameter to restrict the visibility to those that I do not want the manager to see? Maybe CSS?Thank you.
