We have a slightly odd situation where we have assets that are in a large number of channels, in this case the asset is an infographic showing how to use the share option in coach and share.Some of the channels are restricted to a branch and others are public and open to all branches...and I realise as I type this that the solution is probably going to be not to reuse the assets in this way.Over the weekend a learner hasasked a question about the asset...and the notification about the question went to experts in the restricted channel who do not know the learner.  Is this how we should expect the notification to behave?  We have previously had to turn off other notifications where the system rules seemed too loose, has anyone else come across this scenario?

Our teams are divided on three different levels but just the manager at the top should be the only one having power to enrol users from all levels onto courses. So far we found the issue that the manager can enrol to the user coming on the next level but not the users localized on the third-level and below.Just wondering if there is any possibility that that can be modified or any alternative in case you have faced the same problem.Thanks in advanced.

Hey guys,We’re in the middle of reworking how Gamification works on our platform. We plan to add more rewards, change some of the badges and add new ones.What is your approach in terms of Gamification? How do you promote it? Do you give badges for every single course? Do you have any cool ideas for Rewards (especially virtual ones)? I was hoping someone in the community could shed some light on a couple of issues we’re experiencing with reporting on the My Team page.The first is the following Server Error that occurs when trying to export reports.Server ErrorThe second is the Export Option Unavailable message shown below.Export Option UnavailableI’ve contacted support and they say both are related to the Data Refresh still being in progress. Apparently, our data is updated every day after midnight and can take up to 7 hours and 30 minutes to complete.This sounds like a long time to be refreshing data, especially when we have My Team users all over the

Hello,I'm having trouble controlling employee certifications. The certification is linked to a course, which is in a learning plan.If the student has never taken the course, the course will be pending, but in the certification control, this pending will not appear, as it will not be valid or expired, but not started.Has anyone had this same problem?

Hi, we are about to turn gamification on in our platform and want to start it off with a simple contest. We want everyone to take a specific course. When I try to set up the contest, my only options is to “complete the highest number of courses” within the time range given. I can assign the specific course,but the user has no idea what  course they need to complete (see attachment) . It doesn't show up anywhere in the contest tab for the user. How can I set up a “challenge” for just one course?  

Please share your experiences whether / how you managed this:“Nesting” a training from other external platforms (particularly from SABA LMS, but not only this). A learner starts a web-based training from a course in Docebo and always stays in Docebo (does not leave it for a different platform), but the content is being transferred from an external source (from SABA / from elsewhere) and is not stored in Docebo. If yes, will the statistics be available in Docebo, e.g. completion after watching X% of the content etc. If they are not available, are there ways to automatically import these statistics to Docebo from this external platform in order to track the learners’ activities? Maybe via xAPI (in this case the external content has to be saved as xAPI)? You can take a look at this:

Hi I’m trying to add a batch of users to get a badge every week. Doing it manually is not an option, as I don’t have time. I have looked at the API page in Docebo and I’m non the wiser. I have found the API I think is the right one. I can’t work out how to upload the users. I have their user names and I think the code should be:{“items”:[ “username@gmail.com”,”username2@hotmail,com”]I keep getting an error message. Hi guys,Need your help. I just wonder if someone can paste some sample JSON data that can include the branch and group at the time we create the user.I tried to use the sample JSON provided by official Docebo API Explorer. Unfortunately there is no more details in the documentation. I can successfully create a user if I remove the “group_membership” and "select_orgchart" attributes.If someone can help that would be good. A dummy JSON data would help. Thank you guys. 

I can only find older posts on this, is anyone else’s data refresh not working? Our is ALWAYS “in progress” meaning we cannot pull any reports. I have a ticket open about the issue, but curious if it’s just us or if anyone else is experiencing this? 

Hi there!Any advice on what to do with users who are enrolled in an ILT but not attached to a session? We have a mix of statuses for these users --- enrolled, in progress, completed, or suspended (if they’ve been deactivated). What have others done for the users sitting in courses not assigned to a session? I tried to unenroll them, but that does not work.  Should they just sit there? Does it affect reporting? Should I enroll them in a past session/event? 

Hi Community,I am unable to see the thumbnails available in Docebo. I am trying to add one to a Learning Plan, however I can only see a small part of the image. I have tried to zoom in and out, but same result. I’ve tried to upload a brand new image, but even after uploading the image I need to find the image and it is very challenging.  Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. 

I wonder if anyone has any suggestions.We have 6 mandatory courses that we need all staff to complete as soon as they join the organisation.  At the moment we cannot send notifications (explaining this) out to users as soon as they are in the system because of our complicated feed from the HR system which pops in a personal email address first, but updating it with their official work email address up to 48 hours later.So to get around this, we automatically enrol people on a learning plan (which contains these 6 modules) and have set an expiry date of 1 week for all of them.  The expiry date is on the courses not the learning plan. We then have a notification that fires out when these courses expire to remind them that they need to do them.If a user hasn't done any of the 6 courses, then they end up with 6 email notifications.  Is there a way to combine these into 1 notifications? 

I have built a basic LTI provider tool that is external to docebo, and when I add it as a training material it displays just fine (handshake established).  My question is about completion of this training material.  How can I communicate the learner’s score back to docebo to satisfy the completion setting shown below?  Should I communicate this from my LTI provider as an API post or put or possibly a webhook event? 

Is it possible to hide the expert’s name if a channel is set to expert-only uploading? We want to put a channel together that only contains topical assets that are not courses. We are carefully curating these channels and don’t want it to appear that only one of our experts is uploading content. In other words, we will have multiple experts assigned to a channel for Q&A, but one SA is uploading content. Eventually, it will look like only the SA is the expert.  I am also worried that with our employee turnover, the expert may not always be available. What happens to the content when the expert leaves?

Hi All, Ever since the beginning of June 2022, some of our users have been experiencing a blank screen when attempting to play course content. This has happened so far in 3 different courses and in 3 different instances. Instance 1:The course has several module trainings, when moving from module 1 to module 2, a blank screen appeared for the user on module 2. Instance 2:A user closed a course half way through, returned and clicked on the “Resume where you left off” button, again to end up with a blank screen. Instance 3: A user tried to review a course and was met with a blank screen. Has anyone else seen this issue? Again it seems to only have started recently, these courses have not been recently updated and they were working fine without issue prior. In one case I recently took the same course and didn't have any issues. I have an open ticket with both Docebo and Articulate, both are pushing the issue back on to the other. 

Hello! Is there a resource our can someone share an explanation around how the user report information is calculated to determine total time spent? If a user remains actively logged into the course but is not progressing through it does that count time? Some examples I’m seeing for total time across the board is excessive given the actual length of the course.

Hi all, we are a new customer onboarding to the Docebo LMS currently. Looking forward to hearing from the wisdom of the group. We’ve been experiencing many, many bugs while standing up the platform. For example, “Upload Course” button stops responding when updating a version of a SCORM course from the CLOR, buttons stop responding and deleting widgets will not work suddenly when building widget pages, the grey lightbox/background pops up when in enrollments but no other navigation does/completely missing, etc., etc., etc. Generally the only fix to this is to restart our computer. Clearing cache, log in/out, etc., doesn’t work. We use Chrome as standard on Macs. Is this the norm that others are experiencing? It’s really worrying me if this is the experience just from the admin side...what will the Learner/User experience be like.

Hello everyone,  We’ve been using Comslider on our platform for a while now with no issues. It appears that after this past weekend our slider won’t slide. Our team hasn’t made any changes on the Comslider side of things. Has anyone else experienced issues with Comslider lately? 

Hello all - any help would be greatly welcome!I’ve created a certificate with name on one line, and am using the [date_complete] tag below, where the background image shows a date signed.  When I download the certificate in the Certificates area, both dates appear on the form.  However, when I download it as a learner through the course, no dates appear (name does, however).  I’ve marked the course as Completed for the learner, so I think the requirements are met. Any idea on what I’m doing wrong? 

how we can get Docebo to auto-generate periodic course completion report INTO OTHER data-bases.  More specifically, I would like to have a monthly report of course completions sent directly to a module within TEAM GURU.Any best practice here?

Inspire 2022, Annual Compliance Campaign, and personal stuff has made it harder to feel like I can sneak a cycle in with yawl.But know that I am missing the engagement. I feel like being away too long I am gonna lose track with what’s going on.We are embarking on a Docebo Connect integration with our data viz package…if anyone wants to chat about it happy to.I think one key detail is being able to “break” the “API” wall (when it comes to calls per hour) with Connect….I am looking forward to visualizing data in near real-time in MS Teams with our Power BI module….    

Hello Everyone, Does anyone know how we can hide portions of the Admin Menu to Admins?  We would like to hide the entire Apps section as well as Settings.  Only leaving the eLearning options open to a group of Admins?  Is this a possibility through CSS?  Thank you.
