Hi We have licensed the entire LinkedIn Learning Library (over 17,000) courses.    We are considering importing the entire library into Docebo.   I have some questions that I need help from other LiL users: We will see a performance issue if we add all of the titles to our course library? If we don’t want to load all of the titles – does anyone have a suggestion on how to identify the courses in the mass update feature - right now it looks like you can select 1 at a time or select all?   In the mass update feature I typed in one of the LiL subjects in our sandbox (Career Development) and it was not a match to the number of courses when in content market place I filtered on a LiL subject.  After my search I selected all,  imported it and much to my surprise it imported all 17,000 titles into sandbox.    To piggy back off of question 2 - If i can easily group courses to

HiWe run a continuing professional development program for accountants and laywers. Some users access the content by making ad-hoc purchases of vILTs and/or e-Learnings but the majority have subscription access which allows them to self-enrol without making payment.We run about 170 new topics each year and have approx 450 e-Learnings in the library and we’ve received several requests from customers for us to indicate what ‘level’ the content is pitched at so that users can determine whether it is suitable for them.In particular, where we have customers with power users they want to be able to identify content for their ‘junior’ accountants, managers etc so they know what they should recommend.We can add a course additional field for ‘Level’ and include ‘Foundation’, ‘Intermediate’ or ‘Advanced’ but as far as I understand these would be mutually exclusive categories. Let’s say you have an email notification setup for a specific branch.Down the line you eventually move this branch/sub-branch - the associated email notification then changes to 0 assigned branches. I assume because since it is not in the location that it was created in, the notification module is unable to track the branch any longer.While that in itself is an issue, you would then assume that perhaps it disables itself once it no longer has a branch to target making the event or trigger incomplete. However, not only does it remain active but it will now target all branches. Even though the notification now says 0 branches, it instead will trigger that event for any user/power user that meets the other conditions of the event - regardless of branch location. Huge oversight, would like to see this patched or updated in some way with the new notifications module overhaul.

I just want to see all courses by Title, without having to enroll someone in each course. Is there a way you’ve found to do this? Even API doesn’t spit out all results. 

Hi Docebo,We get a lot of students stating they’re using Firefox when they’re actually using Safari. If a student continually lies about what browser they’re using its a real time suck getting to the truth of the matter via screenshots.I’m wondering if there is a way for docebo to determine what browser a student is using on the backend? If so I would like to suggest this feature be added to future releases. Thank you, Logan 

Whenever I try to add a fill-in-the-blank question after I type the question and answers, and hit save.  I get the following message.  I do not see any option to type the title in?  

We implemented Docebo for our Sales, Marketing and L&D last year. Now we are looking to implement for ISO/ GMP compliant training.Does anyone have an easy way to enable sign-off of SOPs (i.e., Read & Understand” training) using Docebo? I’m looking to track Part 11 compliant sign-off on individual SOPs, ideally without creating each one as a course. AICC wrappers? Other ideas?

Can I make the target of a notification both Users and Power Users?

Hello Docebo community friends! I am reaching out to this wonderful and supportive community because we are currently in the process of implementing our new learning platform with Docebo. We are still in the early stages of our implementation, so as you know there’s a tremendous amount of work ahead of us. We are not the first (or last) company to implement Docebo, so I though it would be beneficial to reach out to see if my community friends would be willing to help us in our journey. I would like to start by asking a few questions. How long ago did you implement Docebo? What do you know now that you wish you knew then? Would you be willing to share your UAT test scripts with us? What was the hardest thing to complete in your implementation? What type of feedback are receiving from your users? Would you be willing to connect via phone for a quick Q&A session? Lastly, any overall advice for us

Hi, I’m having trouble figuring out the docebo api. Is the only documentation at https://flashtalking.docebosaas.com/api-browse? How would I retrieve a course’s quiz learning object using the API?

Hi everyone. I have only been using Docebo for a few months now and we are trying to work around some nuances Docebo has such as making sure all our users are enabling cookies. Even with that we are having a hard time pinpointing why people are taking courses but then not showing complete. they will get to the end take a screenshot or picture and send it to us showing us its complete but then logging back into Docebo it still shows as in progress and usually only half way through the course. Any help or pointers on if our users are doing something wrong to cause this to happen?

We’ve recently turned off the “Display Category Tree” as it was showing Categories to Learners who shouldn’t see them (ie Customers were seeing our Sales Category)I’m creating pages now for Learners to navigate to our Categories. I’m able to find the Category ID with the Tree enabled: /learn/catalog/view/2?ctldoc-catalog-0=category_id-18I’d prefer to not have to toggle the Categories Tree on and off to get the Category ID. Is there a way to find the Category IDs via API?

Hey all,Launching this post to gather people’s best ideas / best practices for deploying courses in multiple languages.We have several customers who have taken different approaches to this, each with their own benefits and pitfalls. I’m interested to hear how others arrange their courses (e.g. into language subfolders? or with separate courses and equivalencies?) and what your preferences are.Many thanks in advance!Evan, Skillslive Edu

Wondering if anyone has a workaround for a scenario when a student uploads the wrong assignment. Right now our only option is to fail the student, which doesn’t sit well with our students or their managers. The “failed” designation remains on the student record for the course even after they upload the correct assignment and get a passing grade. I’ve just added an idea “Allow instructors to reject or send back an assignment rather than failing student” if anyone else would like to vote for this. Anyone can make a mistake and should be allowed to correct it before being “failed”! 

I have concerns that users may be able to open multiple different tabs and “watch” dozens of courses simultaneously. Not only does this undermine the value of elearning training, it can cause problems with all of the scorm files vying for memory, leading to strange issues, and confusing support cases. Does anyone have any good solutions for this kind of problem? I have at least one verified case of this happening. 

Hi - Does anyone use Course Expiration (like the hard coded window) to show when a courses content is truly expiring? I have a group that want to be aware of the aging of content and would like to become aware when their courses are old enough to retire.Now I can support that with additional fields to avoid having an impact on the user experience.But I am curious of your approach / thoughts on this.

We are about to launch a pilot of our Docebo system and one of things I will need to determine is which browser our users are connecting with. Is there a way to do this from within Docebo?

Hi everyone,Even in a blended learning world it is likely that some assessments are still paper-based and not transitioned to an online environment, or able to be migrated. I’m curious to know if anyone has a suggestion or solution to retaining copies of the paper-based assessments in Docebo Learn (to keep training records together for each learner), obviously scanned into an online format like a PDF for example?Do you use the LMS for storage, or use a different electronic document store?My gut feeling is to steer clear of the LMS as a document store (not designed for this really) and use something else and perhaps reference back to an record ID number in the LMS course records somehow?Training records retention requirements and specific Registered Training Organisation audit requirements here in Australia require certain things to be discoverable hence my questions.

When I synced LinkedIn learning to Docebo, a catalog was created. I enrolled everyone into the catalog so that they would have visibility. How can search results from this catalog be included in the return information? Does it have something to do with the Global Search? Do I have to turn something on to return results from LinkedIn Learning in the search results?

Is there anyway to add additional filters to the Docebo built in filters? In LinkedIn learning there are many additional fields that allow the user to narrow down the results. Anyone have any ideas? We want to be able to filter by Video, Course Time, and a few other things.   

Do we have a specific notification which informs the users that they have failed in the assessment of an e-learning course?

Hello Everyone,  I recently have been getting previously GoTo Paired accounts breaking.  I don't understand why this is happening.  Currently we have around 4 Power Users set up as Trainers linked to their GoTo accounts.  Randomly these accounts will not be paired with no rhyme or reason.  This is bad because when it happens it prevents the instructor and the users from joining the class.  The connection keeps breaking from week to week it would seem.  Is anyone else experiencing similar issues with Paired accounts?  If so, what did you do to fix?  

Does anybody know how to change the illustrations that are featured throughout the platform?  For instance this one that shows up if a course widget is empty (e.g. if a learner has finished all their courses and is not currently enrolled in anything new).  It would be a nice design customization if we could make this image something from our corporate culture, instead of being a random image that doesn’t fit our design language.  I know how to change the accompanying text using the localization tool, but don’t know how to change the image itself.
