Issue: We are trying to find a solution to blocking training material (post assessment & evaluation) on an ILT which has multiple sessions & events & learners only have to attend one session/event - so the training material will be opened at different times.Description: We have an ILT as part of a learning plan and due to accreditation reasons, we need to have:Training material (post assessment & evaluation) as part of the “live” completion. Submission date to accreditation body must reflect participation date (event)  (we will be using APIs to submit to accreditation body) For our clients that only host one session/event at a time, they would be able to use the “Hidden” feature in the ILT training material. I thought that the userid was generated by docebo, upon user creation ? I’m fairly new to Docebo so any thoughts or guidance would be awesome!We are working on the development of a Certification Prep course that involves 7 courses with exams. We would like to have them taken in a specific order and “lock” the next course until the prior lesson is complete. We have been looking at using learning plans as the delivery option but I'm not sure if there is any functionality to complete this. Like I mentioned, any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I do not see an obvious API; is it buried somewhere or am I losing it?

We are mid implementation and building our notifications, and have realized that the Notification Event Details document lists out tags for use in notifications but for that event in the system the tags are not showing as available and when plugged in do not work!!  Why would the document have tags available that the platform doesn’t have? Also many events like enrollment do not trigger and are delayed by up to a few hours.  Is there a list that defines which notifications are delayed vs instant?

We have access to the full library of paid content, and it seems to be structured as individual videos/courses and no learning plans.Because of this, how can you determine the intended order of videos that are part of a series? Some of the content have “part 1/6” in their names, but some do not. Example:Go to the Course Catalog > Docebo Content Premium > Programming and Web Development Set Language filter to English Search for “docker”The returned list has a number of courses all with the same thumbnail image and similar naming, implying they are all “similar”. However, there is no way to tell which of these courses is the first in the series, then second, so on.This matters because some of the videos are “intro” or “overview” of a feature, and others are using your knowledge of said feature to do something else. Meaning there is a required order in which the content is intended to be consumed.Happy to share a screenshot if that helps! Thank you for reading! Would love any advice

Hi - with a series of small golives, I will be turning on a branch to be supported by the SSO. Yay. So thats great. BUT on the other hand, a few people have run into a pw reset dialog with their first login….which doesnt make great sense. Is there a way to disable that step for an entire branch for many users that were already created????Someone has to have just lived through this….

In our integration of Docebo we came into an issue where our certificate templates were blank. However we have hundreds of courses tied to (4) different templates. Each having quite a few users issued certificates.Our rep gave us we had to course by course page by page, de-issue the certificate and then re-issue.I’ve worked with other LMSs before and this is very time consuming and never heard of.Has anyone experienced and what is the best way to re-issue to have the templates populate? Jennifer

HiDoes anyone has experience with Shopify experts who can set a Shopping cart integrated with Docebo ?I’m looking for a proffesional who can configure Shopify to sell our courses to our customers.

Does Docebo offer seamless authentication when accessed from an SSO’s identity provider?  I have searched for this, but was unable to find anything in the support documentation or in other community posts. For example, let’s say my site xyz.com is the SAML SSO identity provider for Docebo.  When my users log in to xyz.com, I have a link that points them to my Docebo platform.  However, even though they have already authenticated on my site, they are still required to hit the SSO login button when Docebo loads.  Is it possible to configure Docebo to seamlessly authenticate from the identity provider, so a user is automatically logged in to Docebo when they access the Docebo link from my site? We have other vendors who provide this functionality, so I’m hoping Docebo does, as well.   Thanks!

We’ve got a few hundred ILT sessions happening and want to double check the custom virtaul URLs uploaded into Docebo. Is there a way to run a report which gives you the custom URLs listed in seperate events? 

I am wondering if anyone here in the community is handling free trials in the LMS. We currently offer prospective subscribers a 14 day free trial where they can log in and try it out before they buy. Currently there are no email notification triggers based on expiration date. We want to set up a “nurture” stream to nudge free trials to login and remind them periodically as their expiration gets closer. Thinking I will have to do this outside of the LMS, like maybe Constant Contact. Any thoughts from folks doing this? Thanks.

Is anyone else having trouble impersonating/logging in as a user? I get an error and am logged out of the system. Ive had a support ticket open for a while, and they only say ‘they are investigating’Error shown below.

Hi everybody,I’m wondering if there is a best practice (or best LX) for multilanguage courses or learning contents.For example, if I have the same content available in multiple languages, should I rather create one course for each language (increasing exponentially the elements to maintain) and make them equivalent with respect to LP’s, or gather the whole collection of contents in a single course where the learner chooses their language as in a folder?The best outcome would be the platform to show the learner only the content in their language (as the platform renders), while right now we have some courses with the “language folders” and some other where content editors have a lot of manual work maintaining.Is there a best practice by Docebo? Otherwise, what compromise should we choose?Thank you very much.Mauro

How are people handling users who do not start or complete a course? We are looking at course completion rates and need ideas for how to get more people to complete a course? We have started notifications as reminders with information on how to unenroll from a course but are there any other best practices that anybody can recommend? Do any of you do user clean-up to remove people who have not started a course? If you do, is there any special process you use to do the cleanup?

I have uploaded a video as a learning object in a course. I can use the spacebar to play / pause the video as is standard browser behaviour - anyone know if I can use any other shortcuts to go back/forward in the video? The mouse is annoying because the controls fade out after a few seconds and my learners will need to frequently start and stop the video at specific points.

What are some different ways you all use Categories? Previously I used them as a way to organize our courses and a way for our users to search the subject they wanted.I recently turned our categories in to catalogs and turned off the categories. I was told a lot of users use the categories for back end use. I was just curious is some of you can show me how you use them that may also be beneficial to us.Thanks in advance!

In this Docebo Inspire 2021 session, we talked about how ECCO Shoes manages their users for their global Retail Academy learning platform. Branches, groups, and additional fields are leveraged to create unique experiences for different subsets of users. By setting up the branches by location and using additional fields for different roles in different types of stores, ECCO is able to serve up learning content that is more relevant to the specific employee in the geographic region in which they are located. Here are some of the best practices shared in this session:There’s no one way to set up Branches so consider branch structures that are fairly static and don’t require learners to be in more than one branch (Tip: use sub-branches!) In addition to branches, use Groups to help you organize a more dynamic collection of individuals It’s more than just having a branch structure, it’s about what the learner experiences next based on their branch Additional Fields can help connect learners

This might be a bit of an unusual topic and I wasn’t sure which category it would fit in, but here goes...When people think of Learning & Development, they often think of development in terms of practical skills. What I feel is sometimes missing is teaching people how to build team spirit and good atmosphere in their teams & departments and enabling them to do so - especially now, when so many people are working remotely.Docebo is a powerful tool that could potentially be used for that as well! Are there any ways you use Docebo to bring people closer together to have some fun? I could have sworn I saw a post that contained the CSS to adjust the size of the footer. But for the life of me I cannot find that. And me in my haste, rolled back that update and deleted the code without having it saved offline. I need to expand my footer and wanted to see if anyone had that information for me.Thank you in advance.

Hi,Does anybody know how we can set up in certification and retraining courses and learning plans that need to be taken annually and require payment being taken again?At the moment I’m lost on how we can achieve this - we have everything set up in certification and retraining but when the learner clicks ‘renew’ now they bypass the payment and are able to complete the learner again for free.Appreciate help/advise on this.ThanksAnt
