Good day All -My organization will be retiring a good number of courses soon, and we’re going through the process of testing how we want to communicate that to our learners. In addition to a banner on our home page (which gives a general message, and does not list which courses will be retired), we’re also updating the course descriptions, and using a Validity period end date. While that end date appears as an expiration date on the respective course tiles, we noticed that it doesn’t appear for learners who have completed the courses. We want folks to have fair warning that that retirement is coming up should they want to relaunch the courses and review any material before that date.Is there any way to retain that expiration/validity date on the course tile, regardless of the learner’s status in the course? Is there by chance a setting that I may have missed somewhere?Any insight you folks might have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello!Wondering if anyone uses the system to track external Certificates.We have warehouse drivers that have DOT Certificates and were thinking about using the system to track expiration dates. My initial thought was doing it through the certificate app however it would not be tied to a course.  Any thoughts/suggestions?

Hi We’d like to send out a follow up test that is course material for an ILT based course and must be passed for the course to be completed. The only notification that makes sense is the “User has passed ILT session” but this doesn’t allow anything other than “at the time of the event” as an option, which isn’t what we want. We don’t want to add the test as a separate course as it then complicates reporting.Has anyone managed to do this in some creative way? Due to Docebo’s many limitations on ILTs and notifications, I am pretty sure it’s not possible within the same course, but I’ll ask the question, just in case!ThanksRichard

I am looking for best practices or suggestions to receive text-based inputs from learners (customers). I do not care about scores, %, etc at all for this specific task. We have: Docebo Learn, Storyline + Rise, plus some others but those are my first thoughts on tools to use.  Essentially I want to be able to use Docebo reporting to take customer responses and email them to internal parties. We typically use Rise with embedded storyline blocks. What is the best way to do this?  Edited to add: we will most likely be setting up the users receiving the text-based responses as “managers” for the customer users, if that changes anyone’s suggestion.

Just curious, are there any limits on the file types that can be uploaded in the Discover, Coach and Share area of the platform? It may be a simple no. I am looking to verify this.

Hi! Is there a notification i m missing where I as the superadmin can be notified when a user has expired? Use case: When an employee is going to leave the org, I set their expiration date to their last day. We do move inactive users to another sub branch manually once they are gone but sometimes I am entering this expiration date in many weeks in advance so I would love a notification when they have expired so that prompts me to go in and move them to our inactive branch. thx!

NOTE: I was going to submit this as a ticket, but in many ways, I think it’s an issue about the system working as intended. Let me know if you think it’s really a bug though.We get course content from a 3rd party provider. For some reason, we can only use it if we use the Standalone mode, not the Theater mode in the View Mode settings. Recently, we switched to adding our content to the Content Repository (CLOR), which we generally do on a course by course basis. So we create our course, we upload our training material (indicating that we want to use Stand-alone mode, and then we right click on the 3 line menu and select Upload to the Central Repository.This appears to set the View Mode back to the default setting (which is probably the way things are stored in the CLOR) which is the Theater mode.So we have

Hi, I am working on a custom SCORM where there needs to be a notification email sent when the user completes a particular step. I set up the “Learner Submitted A Test And Evaluation Is Needed.” in the notifications panel.How do I trigger this action? ​​​I looked at the API end points but that didn’t seem to line up with this. Is there a SCO call I need to signal for this? Maybe test_submitted? I’ll do some testing to see what happens. Thanks in advanced!

Now that Docebo has started adding the SCORM values into the calculation of the overall course score, how is everyone handling this? Inside each of our courses, we have SCORM and tests placed in different sections (folders), so each section has a series of SCORM files (2004, 3rd Edition) and then a test (created in Docebo). Therefore each course has more than one test. We have the course set to average all scores (which used to be just the test scores, but has recently changed to average ALL scores, including the default zeros that come from SCORM files). Now that the overall course score averages the additional zeros, the score is not correct. Summary of setup:multiple SCORM in one course multiple tests in one course each test is worth 100 points, shown as a percentage course > advanced settings > scores are set to “The average of all scores taken by the user in the course.”Course

Hi everyone!  My team has been exploring using ILTs in Docebo to track the attendance and completion of extrernal training courses (basically courses that we send employees to attend outside of the organization, seminars, etc).I added an Assignment training material to the content thinking that once the assignment is passed that this paired with the Session Completion setting to mark completion to Evaluation Based, that this would mark the users as completed in the course.  Has anyone had any sussess this using these completion settings? I think I might not be using them right because the learners are not being marked as completed. 

Hi folks - we are going to be doing a few curation projects into the summer, one of them is going to involve looking at all the different configurations that we have hanging around in the system. And one of them is on reports/reporting…So I ask you all - do you just let your report list grow out of control? Or do you have practices in place that help to curate them down?For example I am looking at reports that I ran from my first 6 months of running Docebo at the organization. Those reports were mainly for myself and a few report outs, but I was the important link in managing those reports and the data to go out.So fair enough - we maintain a “durable” learning profile - meaning we dont find ourselves deleting courses and are maintaining a learning record that will only grow for our employees. If someone wants to know something from those reports - I want to think of my risk as low to nil with deleting

Hello everyone,I have a question about the CSV upload for sessions & events. We have a number of ILT’s coming up, all the sessions and events have been created. We were hoping that we could upload the individuals via CSV to the specific ILT sessions & events.Right now, we have it set up, so each session is paired with its own session since they’re all unique over different dates & times.I was looking at the sample CSV and I only see a course code (which I assume is the ILT) and the session code (self explanatory) but I don’t see an option for the specific event.Is it possible to upload specific events?Right now it’s looking we can use the CSV to manually upload the session data but we’ll have to go in and manually assign the specific events.

I am being asked to put a footer on the bottom of our lms pages that’s the same as the footer on our website with all the various links to organization specific content. I’ve played around with the custom footer but that doesn’t really do it so I guess I have to use the external iframe thingy?? Has anyone done this? Would you be willing to share a few bullets on how to set this up. Would you be willing to share a screen shot of your footer? Thanks!

If we are using automatic Groups to schedule Observation Checklists, will employees who are added to the group and/or removed from the group be automatically scheduled to receive or be removed from the observation checklist assignment?

At long last, we’re preparing for our first platform-wide course review process. When we started adding courses 18 months or so ago, we failed to consistently establish days of validity. Now, multiple departments will be asked to make determinations as to the continued need to keep their content published. We have < 300 courses and the vast majority of them are monthly departmental meetings. In cases of courses that are no longer needed/wanted would you simply unpublish them (and maybe amend the course title) or would you simply archive the enrollments and delete them from the platform? Thanks!

We have a catalog with two learning plans.  We would like the second learning plan to show as locked with a padlock, until the first learning plan has been completed.   Is this possible?This can be achieved using courses.  I have enabled ‘Only Admins can enroll learners’ for the course. In Advanced Settings > Catalog OptionsThen set up a group for users who have completed the courses in the first learning plan.Followed by an enrollment rule for the group (above) and a course. When the first learning plan and the course are displayed via a catalog to a user (who has not completed the courses in the first learning plan) the course is locked.  There does not appear to be an equivalent  ‘Only Admins can enroll learners’  for learning plans.  I have tried using an enrollment rule for

Hi, I’ve seen this topic appear in a few variations, but was hoping to ask the question more specifically to my situation. Our company has a weekly company-wide meeting. My hope is to have a convenient way to track attendance throughout the year. My problem, as I know others have encountered, is that I can’t quite find a way to make things “easy”.Currently, I’ve created a single course - let’s call it “Weekly Meeting”. Within the course, I’ve created a session for every week this meeting is hosted. My main concerns are the following:When I open the “Weekly Meeting” course from a learner’s perspective, each session is collapsed using a dropdown with only one being displayed. It appears that the course always loads with the first event associated to the course. For example, if I have events on Dec 15, January 15 and February 15, opening the course will always default to Dec 15. Is there a way to have the upcoming be displayed by default when

Hey! We are trying to change the colours of our Progress wheels on the user summary page. At the moment the inner colours wheel and text sit as red, the middle is light blue and the outer is red. We would like it to be red outer ring, yellow/orange middle ring, and green inner ring. We have tried using the CSS in the pic attachedbut when editing the HEX codes and colours names it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this? 

Hi clever people!I have a use case I need some help with:User needs to complete and PASS a course. If they fail the course (training material) then they need to wait 2 weeks before they can re-take it. Aside from manually archiving the enrollment and re-enrolling the user back onto it manually after 2 weeks, does anyone know of any other way to do this?All enrollment options under “ course” don’t work in this case because “2 weeks after completion” is not a validity period option.Grateful for any help if anyone has ever had to do this before in Docebo.ThanksBeccy

Once a learner is done with live, in-person training, their manager needs to complete a questionnaire/evaluation form to evaluate the learner's ability to demonstrate or perform certain hands-on tasks.
