In this learning community, we have little symbols on our profile to show off how engaged in this community we are. How do we replicate that in Docebo? I’d really love to create levels for my learners and have cool badges learners can show off as they engage more with our community. I tried searching, but I don’t think I’m using the right search terms.  

Hi all.I’m planning some gamification for a project one of my colleagues is planning & it includes one Learning Plan w/ 12 courses. It’s easy enough to add badges for the courses & the LP, but I’d like to be able to add additional rewards centered around things like ‘first person to complete the first course’ or ‘first person to complete 5 courses’, & so on. I don’t see it anywhere in the Badges or Contests section, but it really feels like it should be a thing. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks,Nate

Hi, Just wondering if there is anyway to delete badges that have been awarded to you. We currently have a badge set up that you get every time you complete an E-Learning. The downside to this is that when I am testing the courses (And complete them) this automatically gives me a badge. At the moment half of the badges I actually have are just from testing rather than actual completion of the course. If someone can let me know if this is possible to delete the badge I don’t need I would be much appreciative.Thanks,

HI everyone, wondering if you can help (hoping!).  We’re running leaderboards and contests in our platform and can anonymise the leader boards but cant seem to do this for contests?  Can anyone point me in the right direction, or give me a workaround?

We’d like to award a "Welcome Badge" to our first-time users or to those who have finished their first course. However, we discovered an issue in which the badge is awarded repeatedly as users complete more courses, doubling their points. Do you have any suggestions for how we could apply this only once for each user?

Hello! We are launching a program using badges and leaderboards with our users and a question has been raised about the “top 10” default in a leaderboard. We have them set up by department, and many have more than 10 people. Is there ANY way to change the leaderboard to show more than just the top 10 users and/or enable a user to view the whole list? It seems like that should be a setting an admin can change, but I’m not finding any option for it. I didn’t see more information in the knowledge base either. Thoughts??

Wondering if anyone else is having the same issue as us where the platform is issuing both manual and automatic badges? Is anyone using gamification and it’s working the way it should? Many thanks! Andi

As recently as 12/6/22, when downloading a Coach & Share asset using the Download icon in the upper-right of the screen, the downloaded file kept the same file name as the originally uploaded file. As of December 7, any new assets now download with a “garbage” file name of indecipherable characters, rather than keeping the original file name. Is this happening for other users, too, or is it just a quirk at my site? Did something in a recent update cause this change? This cannot be intentional, can it??

When a manger reviews a checklist there is an option for comments however it is limited to 250 characters. Is there any way to increase this? Thanks.  Jillian 

We'd like to use the gamification feature in Docebo to get our users to complete their courses ASAP. Would there be a way for us to add time as one of the criteria for rewarding badges & points? e.g. A user will earn more points if he/she completes a course within the day/week, compared to those who complete it late. 

I am just starting the process of getting our rewards shop all set up with inventory. I am not seeing a way to add/manage the reward items unless I enable visibility of the shop to our learners. Is there a way to build out the shop before making it available publicly?

We are setting up our system and migrating content to channels - Is there a way to add assets where the asset is not tied to a users “My channel”?What would happen if the user who had all the assets in their “My Channel” left the organisation and their account was deactivated would the assets in “My Channel” disappear from the channels they were added to?Thanks in advanceAnne 

I recently had an issue with courses assigned to channels with people enrolled into disappear. Docebo support was helpful and pointed out to me it is because I had enabled the Show courses where users can self-enroll in channels setting in the Channels tab of the platform Advanced Settings menu. I do not understand this behavior and need some help. I assigned the courses to channels and enrolled people into them, so these courses were displaying. I did not have to assign the courses to catalogs. This saves one step for me and I can make sure I have the right people seeing the right courses. I find enabling the setting removes these courses from displaying is rather disrupting and not beneficial.If any one has experience the same and can explain to me better, I would greatly appreciate.  I understand the function when the Show courses where users can self-enroll in channels is enabled, courses must be assigned to a catalog that learners have visibility. But I find this advanced setting

Our organization included Discover Coach & Share in our instance, but have learned that we no longer need or will use that functionality. Anyone have recommendations for a “swap” in terms of other features, etc., that would be great to learn more about? 

We are looking to give our site a facelift and wondered if you all created your site pages or did you use a vendor? If you used a vendor, who was it?  I’d be vey interested to see any public facing sites that are considered very user friendly and appealing.  I’ve asked Docebo for sites to see examples of work they’ve done but haven’t received any links yet. Anyone care to share?  We initially used a vendor on our site, but 3 years have gone by and we now feel there is room for improvement. Any suggestions would be most helpful.Thanks,

Hi - I am just testing badges. We have the app activated, when I create a badge and select ‘create and edit’ I get an ‘internal server error’ message. Can anyone help please? :)

I’m now up to 55 channels.  The first 25-30 channels are fine. Everything after that gets messy. If I scroll down my computer lags out while loading the new channels in chrome with 0 other tabs in a fresh instance. I can’t even view anything “after the break” on opera, which technically isn’t supported, but the page is buggy anyway and opera is webkit. I’m on a core i5 gen 12 thinkpad carbon with minimal background apps and tabs (3 apps, 3 tabs). I’m scared to think what will happen when I get to 150 channels in a few months. We’re a large association.

We have Coach & Share - Is there a limit to the number of channels that we can create and publish in the platform?

I've been trying to find a company that is using DCS with all the functionality. The Discover part - meaning My Skills, the Coaching part - meaning ask the expert, and the Sharing part - meaning users  uploading assets to channels. At least that is what I think of as the main functions. Could be wrong. If there is ANYONE out there using all the components of DCS can you please DM me? We want to launch this at the beginning of the year but I would be greatly appreciative advice on how others launched at their company. Also to ask what worked and didn't work.

Hi, We are about to turn on DCS in our platform, but before we do, I would really like to see how other companies are using it in their environment. If you would be willing to spend 15 minutes with me to show me how you are using it, I would be MOST grateful. I would like to ask if anyone has found a way to organize a channel within My Community. I am looking to build folders within the channel to better organize based off of topics. Any ideas?

We plan to add more rewards, change some of the badges and add new ones.What is your approach in terms of Gamification? How do you promote it? Do you give badges for every single course? Do you have any cool ideas for Rewards (especially virtual ones)? Hi, we are about to turn gamification on in our platform and want to start it off with a simple contest. We want everyone to take a specific course. When I try to set up the contest, my only options is to “complete the highest number of courses” within the time range given. I can assign the specific course,but the user has no idea what  course they need to complete (see attachment) . It doesn't show up anywhere in the contest tab for the user. How can I set up a “challenge” for just one course?
