Creating new automatic groups can be a real brain-bender at times. I’m beginning to wonder if an LLM can help. Has anyone experimented with Harmony Copilot or even ChatGPT to assist in creating group logic? I’ll report back when I’ve given it a try myself.

Hey  JKolodner!

Creating new automatic groups can definitely bring challenges, and you’re right to wonder if an LLM could help. Today, you can use tools like Harmony Copilot or ChatGPT for this, but it’s a bit tedious because you generally need to wire them into the Docebo API to get a complete view of your Groups and their configurations, then iterate on the logic from there. And at a basic level you would need to either extract reports and/or use the API to pull down information that would then be shared into any LLM chat you might have as contextual source materials.

The good news is that we’re working on an MCP connector for Docebo that will let customers securely bridge LLMs and chatbots with the Docebo API to surface real-time platform data.

One of the use cases I could see developing for the MCP beta is exactly what you’re describing: being able to “talk” to Claude/Copilot/ChatGPT while it’s connected to your Docebo instance, have it help you design and validate Group logic, generate audit-style reports on existing Groups, and potentially even push changes back.

The future will be bright with Docebo MCP!  🕶
